Call Point have helped me on 2 large projects. Very professional and knowledgeable. They make sense of all of the fire regulations, which can be in depth, especially with recent changes.

I worked with Simon in relation to the reviewing of cladding on a residential let property. He was extremely helpful , going out of his way to carry out an inspection and report within a very tight timetable. Dealing with Call Point Fire LTD was a real pleasure. Like many others, we had to carry an EWS1 for the sale of our flat. It is extremely difficult to find a trustworthy surveyor in London. The whole process is stressful and disturbing but Simon Pauley made it easy for us. He is fast, efficient and professional. I rarely worked with such a professional and kind person. He is not only provided us with the EWS1 and lender letter but also helped us understand the whole process and provided all additional certificates our bank needed to check the authenticity of the survey. We, like many other unsuspecting flat owners, were told an EWS1 Form was needed, in order to sell the property. Simon was able to carry out the survey and submit his report within a week. His findings were not as we would have hoped, but that in no way detracts from the conscientious and professional way in which we were treated. I can recommend his firm without reservation.

I've heard some nightmares about getting an EWS1 for selling a flat and couldn't find any reliable information on what the rules actually were. Our estate agents - Location Location in Stoke Newington - recommended Call Point Fire Ltd and they were great. Simon responded really promptly to an enquiry on the website and then again incredibly quickly to my email with more info on it. He gave initial advice and then clarity on what the next steps would be if we needed to get a form. He's reduced a fair amount of worry about the process of selling our flat.

I was informed when selling my flat, that i would require an ESW1 form in order to sell.
I contacted Simon, who was very informative and understanding during a stressful and anxious period of selling. Simon was quick and efficient and responded to all information that was requested by the Broker and Lender.

Simon has been absolutely amazing from start to finish, I read his reviews before booking him in and now I can see why he has so many amazing reviews!
He kept us informed throughout and gave us as much info as possible, he came to survey our flat on Saturday and we had our EWS1 form by Monday. This has saved us from having months/years of hell like other people have been having due to cladding on their building. unfortunately our buyer has just pulled out last min so haven't actually used it yet!

We will definitely be recommending Simon to everyone.

Like many unsuspecting leaseholders who want to sell their flats I was suddenly required to provide an EWS1 form by the purchasers mortgage lender. My flat is a first floor property which does have traditional hung tiles as a cladding, but the rest of the block is masonry. We tried to reason with the surveyor but computer said No! we need a form. The property agent and owner refused to engage saying to it want required and refusing to spend any money. I was stuck! I researched and phoned a number of EWS surveyors and got good advice but Simon really gave me some hope of doing this in a cost effective manner. He did, true to his word and we managed to get the survey and form prepared within 2 weeks of me being notified by the purchaser. That must be a record!!! And it was a reasonable cost!! Thank you Simon , great to work with you .

Thank you Simon for your quick turn around of the EWS1 certificate to sell my property. Your communication and coordination skills were really helpful in putting my mind at ease through the whole process. I cant really fault any stage of the execution from getting your mail on the services you provide to getting frequent updates through the process till the final report was sent to me.

Unfortunately the buyer whose lender required EWS1 had to pull out of the transaction hence i lost on the sale and of course cant feedback if the report was approved at the end. But nonetheless i appreciate the teams effort in delivering as they promised and making the whole process hassle free.
