Scam website! Don't order! It looks pretty good on the face of it and the checkout process looked legitimate. The payment initially failed so I went to try again and on the second attempt it took me through a different payment gateway which made me suspicious so I stopped. Looking at the details on their site it's clearly a hoax...

- The address listed on their site (97 City Walls Rd,CLOCKHILL,AB42 8DR) is fictitious.

- The terms and conditions on the site speak of themselves as "Outwell Shop", so they have clearly just copy/pasted those from the real Outwell Shop.

- Phone number is Indonesian!

I didn't get an order confirmation and it turns out the initial payment was still processed, so I am having to go through my card provider to claim it back. I also (unsurprisingly) haven't had a response after reaching out through their contact form.

Normally pretty good at spotting things like this so feeling very annoyed to have fallen for it. Please don't follow suit!

This is a scam company - do not buy anything from them. I placed an order for a camping item and paid £99.99. When I checked my credit card statement they had actually charged me just under £108 and because there was no mention of it not coming from the UK I was also charged transaction fees so ended up being charged almost £111. Instead of receiving what I actually ordered they sent me a very cheap piece of fashion jewellery which came via China Post. I hadn't (and wouldn't) ordered anything from china so assume this was actually from the company claiming to be campinggoods-uk.com as the credit card charge from them also said China. They did not respond to the three messages I sent via their website contact us page and the email I sent them was rejected as undelivered 24 hours after I sent it. So avoid at all costs buying anything at all from this company - it is a scam.
