Brilliant company to deal with

Brilliant company to deal with. I had a few queries before going on our adventure trip, and nothing was too much trouble to them. Most obliging and everything explained in clear simple language. If you're new to this type of holiday, then Camptoo will be more than happy to help you. Keep up the great work team!

Successful 12mths with Camptoo

Having been with Camptoo now for just over a year, l would recommend their support and advertising that they do on the renters behalf.
We've had some fantastic customers in the last 12mths, (but you always get the odd one that spoils the apple cart), but in reflection of this, when damages happen, Camptoo have always been there to support us when needed.
Having hired from them originally to now becoming a renter, lm really impressed with their over all help, advice and support

When it costs you 3 times as much.

Today as an owner had to pay out 3 times the amount I got paid to a renter. Van returned early and had agreed with camptoo they would cover part and I would cover part of refund. Mysteriously their part was not forth coming and couldn't leave them without it. Also be very careful check over your van with a fine tooth comb if you miss anything hidden you can't claim after the fact. What was a great first few experiences turned to hell. Never ever again if you value your property and earnings do not use Camptoo.

I rent out my brand new motorhome

I rent out my brand new motorhome. And the renter damaged my Motorhome badly.
Camptoo trying to proof that I am liar I sent them a solid proof of damages.

Very very bad service from Camptoo.

Yes there was 4 damages.
2 was on the transfer form and other 2 I found after 2 hours. And I notify the renter straight away.

Camptoo already made there decision towards renter side but I’m going to take a legal action against Camptoo.

Please be advised that we have experts working on every damage case, in order to handle every case objectively and in a fair and reasonable manner according to the agreed rental conditions that apply to the booking. I therefore strongly dispute your claim of Camptoo accusing you of anything at all.

Furthermore, you have added information to a transfer form after it had been signed by both parties, which you have admitted to doing. Camptoo has decided to not handle the damage claim that has been added after the form was signed, rather than handling this as fraud, which it technically is, on the basis of choosing to see your actions as a mistake rather than a deliberate choice.

I Wouldn't If I Were You....

I would like to give this company zero stars. In my opinion they are quite possibly the worst company I have ever has the displeasure to deal with. You absolutely *must* read the Terms and Conditions, and Camptoo are JUST a broker. They take no responsibility in any cases for anything that goes wrong. You are better off renting privately because you have no coverage from damage unless you are responsible for the damage. IE, a water pump breaks on and RV and ruins your whole holiday? You are NOT covered and will NOT get a refund. Even if it's a force majeure, they can still deny your claim.

The customer service is appalling, the wait time to hear from them is so long you feel like giving up your complaint, and the absolute disregard for the customer is frankly bizarre. We have been in dispute with them for months now, I can honestly say I wish I had never heard of Camptoo. Avoid!

Do not use this company if you want to…

Do not use this company if you want to Rent a Motorhome, Booked a Motor home rental as a 50th birthday gift for my partner, tried to get hold of them to confirm details to be told that the Motorhome was no longer available as it was damaged, so proceeded to book another vehicle, booking was confirmed. The day before we were due to pick up the Motorhome called again to confirm as we had heard nothing after trying to e-mail with some questions to be told yet again that the Motorhome was damaged and no longer available for hire, an absolute disgrace and appalling way to treat people, our sites were all booked and planned for the trip in advance but little use with no motorhome no offer of compensation but not surprised as the company didn't even have the manners to notify us of any issues. Absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMEND. Please do yourselves a favour and use another company....

Absolutely would not use these again.

Absolutely would not use these again.. van was dirty, not emptied, holes in toff and fridge was full of mould. Had to purchase cleaning stuff and clean the van ourselves and Camptoo hold no responsibility or compensation. The best thing was they charge us a cleaning charge… for what ??? Cleaning the van you pay to hire of them ??? I did get in touch with Camptoo and showed them photographic evidence and they still did not compensate me at all for all the cleaning products I had to purchase to clean the van and I had to pay Camptoo £12 cleaning fee… what a joke.

8.3. If the Rental is not in a reasonable clean condition, the person responsible for determining the condition of the Rental must take pictures clearly displaying the state of the vehicle and make these pictures available to Camptoo via the digital transfer form or by sending them to the following email: support@Camptoo.co.uk. Photos should clearly show what is not clean. If cleaning takes more than 10 minutes, Traveller can ask to be compensated for this at a going rate of £10,- per 15 minutes of work.

Easy and accurate camper booking

Simple to book, payment and deposit process was straightforward, handover checklist process very handy, and online forms linked to hirer meant deposit was returned by the time we got home.

Over charged for the hire and then have…

Over charged for the hire and then have not replied to emails sent questioning the over charge, be very careful when booking. Crying shame as the individual we hired from was amazing, go direct would be my advice, disappointing.....

Dear Mark, I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your booking with us. It is never our intention to not respond to any emails, and we are sorry if we haven't in your case. It must've fallen between two stools.

Camptoo charges a fee with a flat rate of 15% of the booking. This is agreed upon by all parties involved when doing a downpayment for a booking. We understand that this might sound as much, but please know Camptoo makes a lot of costs for among others Marketing, online domains and personnel. Besides this we also guide the full process from request to handling damage claims. Charging a flat rate of 15% is therefore more than justified.
