Sorry it hasn't met expectations. The thermal blanket is a bubble material by design — cut to your spa's exact water surface and laid bubble-side down under the main cover, it traps the steam and slows evaporation, which is where the heat goes between uses. It's there to help the heater hold temperature rather than raise it. Bought the Manitoba earlier and it arrived today. Couldn't be happier so far. Build quality is excellent, and it's been a brilliant addition. The phone support has been fantastic too — spoke with two different Tonys on separate occasions, both knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful with our questions. Delivery was smooth and the team (Craig and another nice chap) who dropped it off were brilliant. Absoultely recommend company and this tub so far. Thank you.

I have many auto immune diseases which…
I have many auto immune diseases which I why I chose to upgrade my hot tub to the grand rapids with the aromatherapy section to add on my healing. The first tub had troubles from the first day. Not filtering properly,i contacted the company and Paul was helpful i can't say different. He gave advise but still the tub continued to be at fault.
When I put the tub back up this year I faced the same issues, again Paul was very helpful and ordered me a new unit to my relief.
Unfortunately though ive faced the same issues with the new unit. I was using the correct filters sent along with the unit. I was told the this might be the issue, this 8s not the case. I was then advised the unit needs to meet the temptature to enable the filtering, this was also set to 37 degrees. The correct filtering setting. I also experienced the bubble buttons not functioning causing me to turn the unit off and turn back on. Unfortunately im not entitled to a refund at this point, which I understand. This review is against the product itself and not those who tried to help. I really wouldn't recommend this spa. Im now dismantling it and taking it to the tip and i will go back to buying lazyspa as I did before.

We're sorry the Grand Rapids didn't give you what you were hoping for. Your spa was past its 12-month warranty when you came back to us, and we replaced the control unit free of charge because we wanted to get it right for you. That the second unit went the same way is disappointing, and not what we expect from this model. Refunds on a spa bought through a retailer do have to be handled by them, which we know wasn't the answer you were after.

Very happy! Great sauna and so going strong over a year later. Building it was pretty straightforward and delivery was on time. Only niggle is that the door seals are peeling but after contacting the Service team they sent me new ones for free straight away. Very happy indeed.

From our very first conversation with Tony in the office, the service was exceptional. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and talked us through the best setup for our space, lifestyle, and needs, without any pressure. His knowledge, patience, and honest advice made what could have felt like a daunting purchase feel exciting and straightforward.
Delivery and installation day exceeded all expectations. Craig and James were absolutely fantastic, professional, polite, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. They arrived on time, treated our property with respect, and nothing was too much trouble. You could tell immediately they took pride in their work and both highly experienced.
What really stood out was how thorough they were. They carefully explained everything we needed to know, from setup and operation through to cleaning, maintenance, and ongoing care of both the sauna and hot tub. Worst company in the world
Worst company in the world. I wasn’t home to receive the item and it went back to their depot and they kept promising to redeliver it but weeks later nothing happened so I asked them just to refund me. still no refund this was a month and a half ago !!No communication at all and they are not showing any signs of refunding my £400!!!!

Grand Rapids portable spa
Grand Rapids portable spa - had two, I will explain...
So the tub itself is good quality for the price. But the bulk of the price must be in the pump (given a £350+ replacement cost).
First one failed before two years, they have a 12 month warranty. Okay put it down to experience and managed to get a whole second tub including the pump for less than the price of a replacement pump (this should have alerted me!).
This brand new pump has now also failed after 20 months.
To be fair I was offered a replacement for £199. But the company ignored my offer to send them both faulty units back (for them to refurb as they had less than 2 years use) and I would pay £99 for the replacement.
This would go someway to improving their green credentials.
I even offered to pay the postage for my two units!
Won't be using again and won't be recommending
