CanaDream RV - Vancouver Reviews 

1. The Vancouver pickup in Delta is too far from public transport and it is not straight forward to get to and from the airport to Delta.
2. The loyalty discount card was not valid, and we had to pay the full amount for petrol everywhere.
3. The van did not come with blackout curtains for the rear windows, so anyone could see in if the interior lights were on. OK if the lights are off, but changing clothes in the van, well, there is no privacy unless the van was backed up against a wall or hedge or the like.
4. Not being able to use the awning was a real let down as in some areas it was really hot and the van really heated up to the point where the AC unit did not cool the van down sufficiently.
5. In the places that it was cold, the heater didn't work. At best it blew cool air.

All the service staff were very friendly. The handover and return went smoothly. The RV was in good, clean condition upon pickup. Any defects were conscientiously documented. We would rent an RV from Canadream again anytime. Many thanks for the wonderful and positive experience with Canadream.

Hired a 31 foot RV with a king sized rear bed only supplied with double sized bedding. Also could not use the on board shower due to leaking across the habitation floor in front of the kitchen. Several other minor issues not expected with a RV that only had 6000 miles on the clock. Canadream response, buy extra bedding and claim back! Didn’t report shower leak until our return along with other minor issues, as we wanted to enjoy our trip shore and minor issues fell on deaf ears, our experience with Canadream was disappointing to say the least.

Good, clean, modern, full of amenities vehicle, but I would have even had paid extra insurance for the ability to be able to use the included but disabled awning. Also would have been better to have included a folding table to go with rented chairs and a small bbq to cook outside.

Fantastic experience! Punctuality, cleanliness, and ease of booking and use. Recommended.

Everything was great. The handover was very smooth. The mattresses were not great I did suggest they should replace more regularly. The kitchen kit is great but you could provide more kitchen equipment like proper washing up liquid and an antibacterial cleaning spray. We bought it to leave for the next guests but doubt it was passed on. But it was immaculate and we had the best time ever

As a repeat customer I would like to say that I loved almost everything about the rental experience. The website is easy to navigate, the staff at pickup/drop-off were wonderful, the RV unit was new and fantastic. But why am I charged extra fees for pickup and drop off? How can the “free” times be completely reserved? It’s a complete money grab and absolutely ridiculous that I have to pay to pickup and drop-off the thing I’m already paying to rent.

The communication with the company was good. The RV operated satisfactorily.

Not enough Flexibility around drop off time.
Did not agree with having to pay for hand-over demonstration. Should be mandatory and included.
Agent didn’t want talk about Engine? Oil. Water
Agent didn’t know solar generation capacity.
Didn’t point out fire extinguisher.
Didn’t point out circuit breakers.
Didn’t know Black/Grey water capacity?
Didn’t know Gas capacity?
We don’t agree with having to Pay for generator. We pay for the petrol that runs it.
Shouldn’t have to pay for blocks and chairs.
Should just take any damage/loss out of the bond we pay.

Everything works as it should, and pick up and drop off were seamless and we'll organized.
However the unit we were given was not what we needed or ordered. The upgrade given was not what we needed! We needed a walk-around bed for me because of mobility limitations for my unit were given was really difficult for me to to crawl into from the end of the bed. There were no only 2 of us so we didn't need your upgrade for sleeping for 6.

Booking process easy, collection and drop off really simple and great service.

The company did not handle an issue with our Campervan sani-dump pipe/tube very well, nor did they reassure us that the incident should never have happened which concerns me that I am not the only person who has dealt with this. The pipe had a hole, only discovered when we first emptied the waste a few days into our trip. I was covered in waste as was unaware of the defect and then had to continue to use the defective pipe throughout the remainder of the trip. The offer of reimbursement for laundry (provided I held onto receipts) was pointless as the only laundry we found was coin fed and could not provide us with receipts. My shoes were ruined and cannot be easily washed. Nobody followed up upon return and I am not even reassured that it would have been replaced/fixed for the next poor customer. We paid so much money for our camper and whilst minor things happen, this was entirely avoidable as sandi-dump pipes should be checked between customer. This was the most unsanitary experience to be covered in waste in the middle of nowhere on what was meant to be the trip of a lifetime.

Friendly and helpful staff made checking in and out an easy and pleasant experience. Amir in particular was generous with his time and advice.

We had a fantastic drive through Vancouver and Quadra Islands. The rv was fully stocked and very comfortable. They also made it easy to understand all technical bits. It was smooth to drive on all the roads we encountered. The only negative was the drop off extra “late” fee at 1pm (when we picked it up) of around $200! Free drop off is 9-10am so you can basically forget your last day of vacation. Make sure to plan for this in your journey.

RV broke down in North Dakota. It was new. Emergency line had no idea that this was a common problem with the Ford 450. Gas pedal sensor malfunction. Stuck (abandoned) for 24 hours. Brother figured out the problem in 30 seconds. Embarrassing for Ford Canada, Ford US and Canadream. Still waiting for an apology. I have videos of the RV dying in front of the gals station and the highway. Really should be putting it his on social media. Very poor risk management and preparation. You need to fix it this.

Absolutely outstanding service! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They gave us a thorough walkthrough of the RV and answered all our questions, making us feel fully prepared. The RV itself exceeded our expectations—it was in perfect condition, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everything went smoothly during our trip, and the entire rental process was seamless. One of the best travel experiences we've had. Highly recommended!

Staff at pick up lacking serious training and understanding of the English language.
Pick up: very quick to give you the keys and get you out of the depot without explaining anything which I believe is down to being able to communicate with the English language.
