Improvements Needed
I love the content, through my Orange package, but have two complaints. First, shows don’t show the year. This is important information especially in this age of unregulated artifice. Second, it doesn’t hold my place like Netflix does. If I leave the show and go back to it a few days later, it starts the show at the beginning. Major flaw. I often just skip the show rather than toggling to find where I left off.

Terrible, theres just subtitles in French, im not French, not everyone that lives on france is French, we are building AI, but still those LAZY useless platforms are UNABLE TO GIVE YOU OPTIONS like portuguese, russian, chinese, or whatever, we are almost in 2030 and those companies blocks the language to the langue of the country, talk about lacking braincells.

Cannot watch from outside of France
The website to buy medias is great and works well abroad... unlike the website to stream the media you bought. So they let you buy stuff with an IP address that they know you won't be able to watch with. What a scam. After sales service is the worst and doesn't work if you are outside of France.

I've never had to search up the credibility of a streaming platform before, especially when they are so popular. When I signed up to Canal+, I specifically chose a monthly subscription which said 'cancelable monthly'. When I tried to cancel, I recieved an email saying I am contracted with them for 2 years and after this, the subscription will be cancelled.
I immediately jumped on the phone and called Canal+ and explained the situation, and after 4 called attempts being transferred, hung up on, and told I am mistaken, I finally reached someone who gave me the following email: servicesclients(at)canal-plus.com
This email is the email where you write directly for cancelation requests. However, they do not accept your cancellation immediately. I emailed total about 10 times, forwarding the same email over and over which explained that I refuse to pay and I will be threatening to take legal action if they take money from my account. Each email was replied to with the same email saying I am with them till 2027. I then told my bank about the situation, and they were understanding and helped me block any future direct debit attempts. I then blocked Canal+ on my email account.
I recieved the following email today:
'Good morning,
As part of your right of withdrawal, you inform us that you do not wish to continue your CANAL+ and EUROPEAN CUP PASS subscription.
We confirm that we have registered your request and that your cancellation is effective immediately.
Any amounts withdrawn will be reimbursed to you by check as soon as possible.
In accordance with applicable law, the data linked to your file will be automatically deleted from our systems at the end of the legal limitation period.
We thank you for your trust and hope to see you among our subscribers one day.
Yours faithfully,

For anyone feeling like they are stuck with this company, you are not. If you didn't sign the contract and chose the monthly subscription, they will try and trick you into staying with them. It's a scare tactic, it's unethical and frankly shocking that they try such a blantant trick to take money from subscribers.
A staff member I spoke to who works for Canal+ even agreed with me, saying that it's crazy but that's just the way it is.
Call, call and email and email. If they don't listen, cancel and block. They are not allowed to do anything unless you sign their contract.

This is A SCAM. They made two accounts for one Email. I could only access one. The other subscription went running for over 8 MONTHS. And I couldnt even use it. The customer service is horrible. Getting ignored and everybody says a different thing what they know and what they can do. This is the worst out of the worst. DONT BUY!!! Got ripped of 90 bucks. Never using it again.

Because this channel just bought the exclusive rights to F1 in France, I now have to pay a subscription for all their sports programs even though I'm only interested in F1. Instead of paying around 6€ for the F1TV Pro subscription, I now have to pay 19.99€ per month for the first year. And all this for an inferior service full of stuff I don't want.
I don't recommend this channel to anyone! Total theft with the prices they charge and total dishonesty in the way they act!

we left France 9 moths ago, sent a termination letter with certified mail because we're moving to another country and kept on charging our account until now. we have sent a second certified letter with prof of residense and now they are demanding the letter to be translated, the programs are also in French and we could never watch, we kkep on paying for a system that even if you cancel, they never do. the customer service is also terrible, they don't have people that speak english!!!!
