In order to help our family we had to remortgage our home of 35 years. We raise income from the asset and we are past retirement age - a set of criteria to make most financial institutions run a mile! Peter, assisted by Chloe at Capital Fortune succeeded in helping when all others failed. They explained with candour we found refreshingly honest that the process "was not for everyone". They found the correct financial institution for us and helped us through every step of the process. Peter was exceptional; patiently guiding us, dealing professionally as well as practically with every aspect, in a timely manner. We could not fault them. We genuinely have nothing but praise to Capital Fortune.

After having blocker after blocker trying to find a mortgage that would meet my special requirements, capital fortune promised me they knew of lenders that could help and were certain they’d be able to get me a mortgage. I was dubious particularly given the expensive fee however they met their promise and their service was outstanding along the way. They even helped on completion day with the mortgage lender when my solicitor was being useless. Worth every penny. A special thank you to Peter B as well worked on the case for me.

From my first call with James Drury i felt confident that Capital Fortune completely understood my situation and that they had excellent knowledge of the lending landscape in the UK. Service from James and Stephen Marsh was excellent throughout and they delivered exactly what i was looking for and what they advised during the initial call.

Enquired about obtaining a mortgage and was greeted with a very unprofessional indivdual. Would not recommend.

Absolutely disgusting way to treat Customers, Paid an Upfront fee of £795 with the promise a mortgage would be delivered. I was told after 2 weeks that a mortgage was not possible and that the 795 should be refunded back to me , This did not happen and all communications between us ceased ! all my emails ignored. I then looked at previous reviews and it seems the same thing has happened to many people before me, avoid this scam company at all costs , they will take your down payment and then ignore you ... I am in the process now of taking this up with my credit card provider, this is Corporate bullying at its finest

Totally awful. Had we not gone and got advice from somewhere else we'd have lost the house we wanted. They have such a high opinion of themselves working out of their posh apartments in London, but James Drury treated us like we were little people from the country. Charged us £795, gave us bad advice to wait until the credit reports updated, said we'd reconvene in 2 weeks and we never heard from him again, apart from 4 months later when we tried to get back in touch. Took matters into our own hands and another company, Creative Finance (Ellie's amazing!), really listened and got us an offer within days - thank goodness we went with them or we'd have lost the house we wanted. If I ran my business like that I wouldn't have any customers. Who takes £795 and then doesn't make contact for 4 months no matter what the circumstances? Complained to the ombudsman and he's sided with them. I'd avoid like the plague!

Absolutely fraudulent company,promise what is not in their terms and conditions ,will charge you an upfront fee ,wont complete the work on time and then if you ask a refund they would not give you a refund with so many reasons ,that they never mentioned before.I would not recommend this company to anyone.
