I have had a very positive experience…

I have had a very positive experience with Capital on Tap. The application process was simple, quick, and easy to complete. The credit card has been very useful for managing business expenses, and the online platform is straightforward to use. Payments and transactions are clearly displayed, making it easy to keep track of spending. Whenever I needed assistance, the customer service team was professional, helpful, and responsive. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and would recommend Capital on Tap to other business owners looking for a reliable business credit card provider.

I lost alot...

I have lost over a year of my 1% Cashback with a credit card. They have said there is nothing they can do and its my fault that the retailer (Argos) issued a refund.

A bit lost myself how you can just loose everything, but apparently its part of their terms and conditions.

I only joined for these rewards, which led into a savings account too - Its been a good 3 years, but you HAVE changed for the worse.

& this is why we must depart ways.

Good!

Pretty good actually, you get an app where you can do all kinds of things - upload receipts, pin reminder/change, security settings... decent benefit to using it so long as you pay off by the statement repayment, build good business credit history, get 1% cashback for free on anything used... it's a no brainer really for standard business expenses. Oh, and they notify you on email about when your debit is due, how much it is - amazing communication. Can't even think of anything that would make it better besides maybe adding more benefits.. discounted business stores for tech purchase or something maybe... but for 1% back (free) is pretty good alone.

Abrupt card suspension with no warning — serious damage to our business

We had previously been very happy with Capital on Tap and had even left a 5-star review. Unfortunately, that has now changed completely.

Capital on Tap abruptly suspended our business card with no prior notice, no phone call, and no opportunity to resolve the issue first.

The reason was a simple administrative misalignment that had already been in place for several months previously. An internal Companies House/account-holder requirement following restructuring within our company.

We fully understand that financial providers need to carry out checks and ensure account details are aligned. That is not the issue. The issue is the way this was handled.

Our card was suspended immediately, despite the fact that we had never missed payments and had always cleared the principal balance each month. There was no arrears issue, no misuse issue, and no payment problem.

This had an immediate operational impact on our business and has damaged it. The card was being used for automated Amazon advertising payments. Once Capital on Tap suspended it without warning, Amazon could not take payment, advertising stopped, listings were left exposed, and sales were affected immediately.

A simple phone call or short notice period would have allowed us to update the account holder or move payments elsewhere. Instead, Capital on Tap created an avoidable and damaging interruption to our business.

For a business finance provider, this is extremely poor practice. Trust is everything when a company relies on a card for live trading operations. Capital on Tap’s handling of this situation was abrupt, disproportionate, and commercially damaging.

I can no longer recommend them.

Hands down the best credit card for small businesses

The application process took me less than 10 minutes. Unlike the weeks of waiting I’ve experienced elsewhere, I had an approval decision almost instantly, and the physical card arrived just a few days later. The digital card was ready to use immediately.

Really simple application process, great app with the ability to have multiple cards for my team and virtual cards with great controls on spend limits etc. Not used the bill pay yet, but love that feature. Very tempted to go pro for the extra points.
