I used cap and found them to be absolutely tremendous in every way.
It’s a bit of a haul but it’s such a great feeling knowing it’s all taken care of and in the hands of great supporters dealing with the stress I was once dealing with I can not praise them enough. They are friendly happy people I was in a lot of debt after a few sitting going through all my debts and issues wasnt to long after getting that amazing call to say I was no longer in debt I would never have got through it if it wasn’t for the help of high peak debt centre I would probably still be struggling with day to day crisis I had. 100% recommended thank you for all you did for me 😊 Mary

CAP is an excellent and discreet organization which can help you with your debt. High peak debt center did everything for me. I am debt free and it was al sorted within months not years. I still have bills but I can sleep at night with one less worry and life is good. If you need help please let them help you, you won't regret it.

My experience with CAP was such a positive one for me and my family. After life experiences lead to debt, I didn’t think there was any hope. CAP came in and made a life without debt possible, they took all the worry away, I am forever grateful for their help and continued support with a host of other groups. You don’t have to be a Christian, they help everyone, kind, caring and compassionate people.

I was first made aware of CAP at the beginning of the year after discussing debt issues at a local drop in. They were very helpful and pro-active with getting set up the longest time I had to wait was to meet my debt coach, after that initial meeting everything moved very fast and within a few weeks I was accepted for a debt relief order.
My coach was very helpful and informative it made things easier for me as I struggle with anxiety, since being accepted for a DRO I’ve had a few teething problems with some of the company’s I owed money to but every time i contacted my coach or the head office they were so clear and helpful it put my mind at ease. I have since passed on a recommendation to a friend who also mentioned they had debt issues and they have contacted for help. Great service and genuinely helpful and nice people

I was in quite a bit of debt, mostly due to no fault of my own. CAP got me out of debt, I’m now debt free and it feels amazing! My debt coach was amazing and friendly, they welcomed me in, offered me support and prayers and reassured me I’d be okay through out the debt process. I couldn’t recommend a better company to help relieve you from your debt! They help you based on your circumstances and make sure you have no stress whatsoever! God bless!

C.A.P really helped me offering support , not just with my debts , but help budgeting and various groups to help along the way, Sam was was a great help and I'm now debt free .

These people have been trying for 3 Days to get money off of me emailing me all the time they say that they were going to give me $10,000 for $100 I continuously told them no but they were so insistent they finally got me talked into $10 with the promise of $10,000. Well it never happened and you're still hounding me now. I beg of you don't give these people your money they're nothing more than scam artists using Christ. There's no Christians here

I was recommended to this outfit by a support worker, il start with the word Christians...don't assume that 'christians' means kind, caring ,impartial ect ect maybe most are but you can say about people in general. In my experience U found them cold,dameaning and quite judgemental.
I guess that people who use a debt service are already in a low mood and a fragile state, some have mental health issues which of course is a low mood and struggling with what is being thrown their way. In my experience whatever you might feel like sharing try not to share any mental health issues with caps, always stick with a health care professional, crisis team , doctors ect , people who are trained and can offer the right help and advice.
As for financial advice ? I found them quite lame and inept, I've also heard that if you do sign up (as they word it) the money you send does not always go to your debtors, I might he wrong but thats what I've read in some reviews.
If you are on benefits then all they will say to you is to go bankrupt, they do not mention the huge implications of such a move..I am quite fortunate as I have worked all my life and I'm not totally destitute and I don't plan to be , I guess I have a small safety cushion but I know not everyone has that and I know it's really really hard to manage day to day ..I get it 100% . I've also read reviews here where people are so gratefull to caps which is great , so long as they are given the right proper advice .I'm sorting my debts my own way now and having conversations with my debtors. I plan to go back to work in a month or two , I'm in a better place now but it's took 6 months of very very low and dark thoughts and also a few hospital admissions so I do know how it gets ya. So to wrap it up, I do not rate caps , think hard before you sign up and ask why you need to sign up ect. In my opinion use citizen advice, payplan maybe but get real help and advice by people who actually know what they are talking about..

CAP have been so helpful and I am forever grateful with everything that they have done for me, they are really helpful on the phone, they explain everything to you, try their best to help and support you with everything - I just want to say a big thank you to CAP for everything that you have done and still do for me.
My debt coach, I want to say A BIG THANK YOU, to Laura who has supported me with everything that I have had going on, she has been there through my worst and best days.. Laura has guided me in the right direction and advised me on what way to go forward, and even when I have been hesitant, she has reassured me that everything would be ok and still does which this make me feel at ease. Laura is an amazing, caring and friendly person to have supporting you when you feeling down, A lot fun, bubbly and energetic person to be with who will make you smile, she has also got me involved with activities and she has offered me some courses to go on.

Laura I just want to make a promise, I will do my best to make you proud of me.

With the support from CAP and Laura, my opinion is, no job is to big or small, CAP and Laura do what they do best, and that is to put their client first and help out as best they can.

Helped me in the process of taking out a DRO. They were very kind and supportive as I was very anxious about my declining financial situation.

Amazing service and amazing staff, I was helped by Mark Harris in Edinburg and helped me get debt free, which I never thought possible. Cannot recommend this service enough no matter what you believe, reach out to them and get out of debt quick!!

I had to wait about 2 months for an appointment. There is no mention of how long your first appointment will take, it basically took half a day. Then to finalise, it took another half a day. It seemed fine until 4 months went by and I had no communication from CAP, no letter nothing! My creditors were trying to be patient with me, but they were also getting frustrated getting nowhere with CAP. I finally complained and wanted to leave, but was told that H/O would be contacted. All of a sudden, I had to sign another client authority sheet in both my surnames and I had to submit my payslips and universal credit payment again. All the while they were 'trying' to work out a budget. It seemed to me that I wasn't at all a priority client and only when I complained did they start to do something, but even then, they were extremely slow. They might have helped others, but for me it felt like a nightmare begging a Christian organisation to help me, when they couldn't give two hoots!

To all those people complaining this is what happens when you put your faith in man and not god you all have the same attitude and quite frankly it’s disgusting
