Good choice at good price but delivery on a camel speed.

I can find a lot's of cards, low cost and low shipping cost. Your trade zero is good but shipping time are very very slow,more the indicate, the cards are trade tout many time before final destination. Good choice at good price but delivery on a camel speed.

Rubbish

Took weeks to respond to simple queries. Only responded to contact after we threatened to cancel order. The refund we had to arrange ourselves by ‘withdrawal’. Completely ridiculous waiting times for cards to arrive. Shipping costs to AU are outrageous on a handful of cardboard. The list goes on…
Utterly dreadful service.

Poor quality of customer service

Over the past three years, I have completed several transactions worth several thousand euros via Cardtrader Zero. During this period, I enthusiastically recommended the service to others. The user interface and shopping experience are clear advantages over other platforms for buying trading cards.

Unfortunately, my last order resulted in a customer service fiasco that has prevented me from continuing to use the service to this day:

The last time I picked up my cards purchased via Cardtrader Zero from the Italian post office was on schedule and included cards for a tournament. Since the shipping conditions were express services, which were carried out by UPS at the time, I relied on the cards being delivered on time. However, UPS apparently had a problem, so the shipment did not reach me within the deadline. This meant that I was unable to use the cards at the tournament.

I then contacted Cardtrader's customer service and requested a refund of the shipping costs. Unfortunately, my request was not granted and I received a reply recommending that I contact UPS for clarification. However, since the contractual partner of UPS is not the recipient of the shipment (i.e. me), but the sender (i.e. Cardtrader), this did not solve my problem.

I found the treatment I received as a customer in this case to be absolutely appalling and disrespectful, especially in view of my previous purchase history.

I can only hope that the approach to customer service has changed since this incident. If this is the case, please feel free to contact me again.

The platform collects your items at their warehouse, verifies their condition, and ships them together, which not only saved me money but also ensured everything arrived in excellent condition. My order, which included some hard-to-find Pokémon cards, arrived within the estimated 9-14 days, well-packaged and exactly as described.
Customer service is another area where CardTrader shines. I had a minor issue with one card in my order, and their support team, led by responsive staff like Marc (as mentioned in reviews), resolved it quickly and professionally. They responded to my query within hours, offering a refund option or replacement, which left me feeling valued as a customer. The personal touch—no automated responses here—made a huge difference.
Pricing on CardTrader is competitive, and the platform’s secure payment system gave me peace of mind. Payments are held until orders are confirmed delivered, protecting buyers from potential issues. I also appreciated the transparency with fees (5% for direct sales, 7% for CardTrader Zero) and the option to extract funds via wire transfer without extra charges.
While some users have noted longer shipping times for international orders, I found the wait reasonable, especially given the cost savings with CardTrader Zero. The platform’s commitment to quality control and buyer protection makes it a trustworthy choice for collectors and players alike. I’ve already placed another order and can’t recommend CardTrader enough for anyone looking to buy or sell trading cards with confidence. The service is fantastic

The service is fantastic, the idea is great. I've had multiple orders come without a hitch and support had always been helpful and responsive to my needs.

As long as you're ok with waiting a little longer for singles (and especially if you're outside the US so you can't really use tcgplayer) this is absolutely the way to go!

I'm looking forward to using this again service again and they have my full confidence! ☺️

Ridicolous waiting times for Cardtrader…

Ridicolous waiting times for Cardtrader Zero. Cards have been sitting in their warehouse for 2 weeks waiting to be evaluated and ready to be shipped.
Customer service is to laugh for, offers zero solutions and claims a large backlog due to summer break.
Last time I'm going to use this service. Cardmarket is far more reliable and has lower prices.

Best Online Card Shop

I’ve had an amazing experience with CardTrader. Their team went above and beyond to support me when I faced an issue with a recent order. They carefully checked my cards, prevented me from a potential loss, and processed refunds quickly and transparently.

What impressed me the most is not only their professionalism but also the fact that they truly care about their customers. Communication was fast, clear, and friendly at every step.

Cardtrader deals in bad faith

Cardtrader protects sellers who deal in bad faith - I've had several orders cancelled over the last year because of one excuse or another, but it always happens to be when the price has gone up on the cards I ordered.
Cardtrader's own policy states they can't do this, but they still allow them to cancel.

" You can accept or reject the cancellation request from your order page, using the 'accept' or 'reject' buttons. If you accept the cancellation the amount you spent will be immediately credited on your Wallet. If you reject the cancellation the seller will be forced to ship. Our staff will assist and help you. Remember that a seller can cancel an order only if there was a clear, large, trivial pricing error."

Poor service – completely ignored by customer support

I contacted CardTraderZero many times, in both Italian and English, to different customer service addresses regarding an issue with my pre-sale order. I sent several reminders, but I was completely ignored and never received a reply. It has now been more than a week.

UPDATE: Following my review here, I got contacted by the costumer service and I was provided a resolution. They were helpful and I appreciate that, however, it needed a 1 start review to catch their attention. On the light of this, I’m changing the rate of my experience.

I made an mistake on my first purchase…

I made an mistake on my first purchase and Marc was great on helping me fix some of the issues . Made another purchase using CT zero and the card was stopped due to compliance issues. Marc was super helpful once again and gave me the run down on what happened. Awesome guys to deal with!

Paid 460 EUR and got an empty box

Paid 460 EUR and got an empty box. Card traders send the package without putting on the security label. The package came empty and card trader will not refund. They refeer me to the pickup point, but it really shouldn’t be my issue to figure out. This was my first and last order from card trader. From a customer POV I paid and got nothing. I recommend using any other service if you want what you paid for.

Whenever we receive a report like this, we immediately follow a two-step process:

1. Internal investigation with the courier – the recorded weight of your shipment was consistent from the moment it left our warehouse, through all transit stages, until it was registered at your chosen pickup point.

2. Verification through customer-provided evidence – to confirm possible tampering, we asked you for a photo of the outer envelope. Unfortunately, you told us you had already thrown it away before contacting us. We also asked for a video of the inner box, since you reported that the security seal was lifted. Later, however, you informed us that your flatmate had already reattached the seal, making it impossible to verify the issue.

We genuinely wanted to help and to escalate your case further, but without this evidence there is unfortunately no basis for us to proceed with a refund.

We remain at your disposal should you find or provide further documentation that allows us to reopen the claim.
