I last ordered a carfume air freshener in 2018 which was great so I decided to order again in 2025, 3 different ones. They quality of these have dropped significantly. You can only smell them when your stick your nose against but you simply can't smell in the car.

DAMAGED MY CAR. The product has been in my car about a week or maybe two - I opted for Creed, looks good, smells good. BUT as others have said, the product will melt your plastic interior. My air freshener is was hanging off my rear view mirror, and as I was driving today i noticed a drip - realised the wooden cork is really saturated, to the point its dripping product into my car (I literally haven't touched it since fitting it so its not a case that its been shaken or anything like that), and on closer inspection, where its been dripping down into my car its melted the plastic. Luckily in my cup holders, so not majorly noticeable - but would hate for it to have been somewhere more noticeable. Ultimately, either the fragrance, or the carrier oil for the fragrance will melt plastics if it comes into contact with them - including your car. I think carfume will be getting a few claims for damages having seen multiple other similar reviews with damage to cars - they definitely might want to look at their products to limit their liability for damages.

Email on the weekend stating the ari freshener didn't have any smell to it.
Quick got a reply with a 'faulty cork' they've sent new croks & a gesture of good will have also added a refill for me!

Ordered one set of air fresheners and three months later another set arrived. On querying this I was told I had signed up for a subscription, whichI hadn't. This company signs you up without your knowledge. Avoid .

Smells great, order process and delivery was easy

I recieved it in a matter of 2 days, the packaging and the product itself is top quality the scents of the air freshners are amazing they arent too strong like most other brands, the scent also last a few weeks which is amazing, the air freshener is so easy to put in your car and looks really cute in the car.

I officially will not be going anywhere else but Carfume for my cars air fresheners now. The smell is just like the perfumes and it lasts, you can even smell it after being in the car for some time! It lasts ages as well! Amazing value for money and is the only car freshener product (and I have tried lots) that I have been really impressed with! Recommended to my husband, parents and friends!

If I could rate this lower I would. SO ridiculously pricey. And can never actually smell the scent. Also why do they always leak. Such a rip off.

Damaged Car

As others have said, despite using following the instructions perfectly, I returned to my car yesterday and it’s damaged the interior of my car. It’s the whole plastic / material section where the gear stick sits, but the whole surround to it, not the gear stick skirt. I dread to think how many hundreds of £’s this will cost to repair. If I stop anyone from buying these and suffering this, the review is worth it. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE.

After purchasing an order, they ask if you would like to add more products with a discount, do not do this! I made the mistake of doing this, and it changed my order from a one time purchase to a subscription without me realising. I only found out when they recently took money out of my bank and I received an order confirmation email. I was confused and concerned so I emailed the team straight away, this was on a Saturday so they didn’t reply until the Monday. They said that they cannot cancel my order and if I wanted a refund I would have to pay for my order to be returned to them after it arrives. I was very unhappy about this so I looked deeper into what had happened and then sent them proof of the fact I had originally ordered one time purchases of the scents. They have completely ignored me and this is the second problem I have had with this company. Never buying from them again!!!

I can't speak to the quality of the product (see below), but I appear to have had a different experience to many. I ordered for the first time, and it didn't arrive. After an exchange of emails with Jeff (who also gets mentioned in other reviews), I requested a refund, and having just checked my credit card statement, the refund was processed on the same day. Things do go missing in transit occasionally, but I cannot complain with the speed the refund was dealt with.

I brought the mini egg carfume and I wasn't disappointed, the car smells awesome. I didn't mind paying for a quality item. Will definitely be buying from Carfume again.

I bought the mini eggs carfume, not knowing what to expect, and boy was it worth it!! Strong smell without being over powering, leaves my car smelling like chocolate all day long, really worth the few quid it costs

Lovely scent but I had it hanging up in my car for a week and the cork was on the bottle properly in fact I can’t even get the cork off now and when I came back from a walk one day it had been dripping onto my leather car seat.
Not impressed at all and won’t be buying anymore of your products sadly.

Really honest review!

I got this as it’s such a huge hype at the moment thinking aww this will be amazing.

First few days the smell was lovely didn’t fill up the whole car but it was nice then the smell just completely disappeared I was following the instructions Like it says to follow. There is no smell whatsoever even if you tip it up. I don’t use the car often so I should smell it! It’s expensive and it doesn’t last. The tree air freshener last longer than this.

So in my opinion it’s not worth it. It’s okay for the first few days then bam it’s gone.
