3 weeks for my order to be delivered? Why? Your website says 3-7 days. Why is my order taking 3 weeks? Someone tell me! I will never buy from here again and will tell everyone I know not to as well

Best car mount i’ve used so far. Even on bumpy roads in the woods with my subaru WRX, it holds my phone perfectly. Suggest avoid parking all day in direct sunlight on 30c summer days for best results. Great service via email for all my questions; thanks Georg!

Replacement device was sent out to me quickly and for free, and the functionality definitely works now. I’ve tested it on the same mirror that the old one fell from (leaving a sticky residue ring on the mirror), and immediately can see differences in the surface of the rubber/adhesive pad. I also did some basic research into nano vacuum technology (very cool, inspired by geckos feet, which are comprised of thousands of nano and micro fibrils to allow grip on any surface); perhaps a little gimicky and some recent research suggests that even in the case of gecko tape, it’s the adhesive doing the work rather than the nano tubes (but the nano tubes help the tape have a greater surface area and so improve the adhesive, etc). Anyway, I’ve attached the mount, appreciated it working correctly, removed it, appreciated the lack of residue, and reattached it, with similar level of stability and grip. Seems like the below frustration of my original review was a mixture of user error and a faulty device (and suspicion about spurious claims of magic technology that often conceal the grift).
This company is legit, well intentioned, quick to respond, and make a great product that does what it says on the tin: mounting with MagSafe in a car.
The one thing I’ll say though: this device definitely works best in the case of being attached to a specific (and very very clean, dry, bacteriostatic) flat surface, the harder the better, and although the twist and easy lock/release functionality and portable form factor would have you thinking it would be a good mount to take everywhere, constantly attach and reattach to various different surfaces (THE GYM! A MIRROR! CAR DASH! CAR WINDOW! KITCHEN! WALL! LAPTOP!) I would suggest that unless you are meticulous about cleaning these surfaces and making sure there is not a trace of dust, oil, grit, dander etc on the surface of the device or the mounting surface, the grip can be expected to reduce over time. When I first got the previous device, I definitely went exploring around the house attaching it to all kinds of (probably unclean) surfaces to try it out, misapprehending the intended usage pattern of the device. I don’t have a car and probably won’t always want this thing mounted on the same spot as it’s for filming content and taking photos, so probably not fit for what I wanted (something a bit more portable that can be attached and detached over and over again).
Leaving my original review below for transparency and to show that I was wrong and the this company were so sure of their product they could tell it was a faulty device and rectified it here (I was not expecting this at all! Didn’t even think the company really existed, didn’t want a refund, was just cranky and interpreting product fault as trickery). So huge kudos to the CarMount team, and if you have any apprehensions about buying it, know that they really will address these kinds of issues promptly and are not scamming you. Just make sure to educate yourself on how it works and what it works best for.

Original review: I didn’t want to believe this was a scam, as I paid decent amount of money for it, waited a while for delivery, and really wanted the device to work. I tried everything they suggested over many attempts, on different surfaces, on cleaned surfaces, etc. I just had a suspicion something wasn’t right after reading some of the other reviews. By this stage I had decided the device was useless - it would only stick to a surface for a few minutes and the slightest knock would break “the vacuum seal”, but it always seemed like it was the adhesive/sticky effect of the rubber ring that was doing all the heavy lifting. I ended up tipping the rubber ring off to see how the device works - shocked to find the turning function seems only to tap a little plastic knob and make a “clicking” sound but doesn’t actually move any other component under the seal. Smoke and mirrors. Don't buy these!!

It's been 15 days and I haven't received it.

I haven’t even received mine yet and I am giving this a 1 star. It’s been over 2 weeks and I haven’t received it yet or any communication as to when they shipped it. I bought this for a birthday present and I can’t even give it to my girlfriend for her birthday. I’ve had a order from china already come and ordered it the same day!

If I could have rated it higher I would. I want to shine the light on a person who’s name is Charlie she went above and beyond to help me with a problem with one of the phone mounts I order so that tells me they care about the customers. So from this day forward I will promote their company because they have a great product and because of a kind lady named CHARLIE.

This product is out of this world the best nothing compares I won’t use anything else there fast outstanding customer service support is second to none all my friends an family use them also a massive thank you to ( SIIM )

Great customer service. My windshield was two curved in the spot I wanted to mount my phone. Carmount exchanged it for a F2 I mounted under the top of the dash. Worked perfectly!

I had a problem with the Carmount product I purchased. I sent an email to Carmount customer service explaining what had happened to the product I had purchased. 1 day later I received a response back from Georg at Carmount customer service. Georg was very professional and understanding. He had asked me to take a picture of the product and send it to him.So I did exactly what he had asked from me. The next day I received another email from Georg stating, and I Quote " Mr White, this problem should not have happened, we will be sending you a replacement as soon as possible ". The very next day I received another email from Georg stating that my replacement was already shipped out. Carmount is definitely a 5 star company with an awesome customer service. Shout out to Georg for sure.

I am still in awe by the level of customer service I’ve received. I had an issue with delivery, and the support I was given was nothing short of exceptional. Charlie, in particular, has been professional, understanding, and more than accommodating throughout the entire process. His kindness and commitment to resolving my concern went far beyond what I expected.

I bought a 3 pack of the car mounts when there was an sale, and while it didn’t want to stick initially, after I rinsed it off on the sink it worked great! This definitely seems like a gimmick, but it’s pretty legit, and I’ve been getting more use out of them than I thought I would! The metal adapter rings they include are nicely done and hold very well.

I have 3 ,one holds my phone and 2 hold my iPad,they work perfectly!!

My product was not getting delivered due to an issue with the logistics team. Mr. Charlie at carmount.com helped me resolve the issue almost immediately and also gave me a free item as a compensation for the trouble. Would definitely recommend them.

I bought the Carmount as a last resort after buying three other phone mounts. None of them worked, my phone would fall off each one. I thought I would try one more and bought the Carmount. It is the best! It stays attached to the dash and my phone hasn’t fallen once! Highly recommended!!!

I havr been using the magnetic Carmounts in 2 different vehicles for about 3 years now and love them. They are plenty strong enough to hold my Samsung Galaxy phones through there Rubber cases. But, I recently ordered more sticky metal plates to stick to a new phone case. In the process, I accidentally ordered an item by mistake. So, I quickly sent a reply email to my Confirmation email, asking to cancel the accidental item. By the very next day, I was refunded for the accidental item by Charlie V. without any problem or questions asked. This is an example of how the company Carmount give excellent Customer Service.
