Exceptional customer service from a company that genuinely cares
I initially purchased the CarMount Clutch-X through Amazon. The mount itself attached securely and worked exactly as advertised, but the magnetic hold on my iPhone 15 Pro was not as strong as expected, causing the phone to rotate slightly over bumps.
What happened next was genuinely impressive.
Ats, the CEO of CarMount, personally contacted me, listened carefully to the issue, and worked with me to find the right solution. Rather than offering a generic response, he took the time to understand my phone and case setup and concluded that I may have received a faulty unit.
Charlie from the customer support team then took over seamlessly. He arranged a completely free replacement Clutch-X and even included a complimentary CarMount MagSafe case so I could test the new mount under the best possible conditions. The entire process was fast, personal, generous, and remarkably easy.
This is how customer service should be done. Products occasionally have issues, but the real measure of a company is how it responds when something is not quite right. CarMount did not become defensive, make excuses, or leave me chasing them. They proactively reached out, took ownership of the problem, and went well beyond what I expected to make it right.
A huge thank-you to Ats and especially Charlie for the outstanding service. CarMount has earned my trust and my future business. It is refreshing to deal with a company that clearly stands behind its products and genuinely values its customers.

Carmount was exactly what I had hoped for!
Carmount was exactly what I had hoped for but was initially skeptical. It actually worked!! I've been trying to find something that would actually adhere to the fancy ribbed dash I have in my F150 and this was perfect! It HELD!!
I can now move my phone to an area outside of my driving sight lines. The only thing better would be phone charging capabilities but I don't mind running a cord over.

Clutch-X phone holder
I got Clutch-X phone holder few months ago and after testing it I found that it has pretty good suction power as well as strong magnet, and I mean strong magnet, you need to kinda slide the phone of the holder because pulling it will absolutely rip the holder from you glass surface. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and we have perfect weather to test any car accessories, we go from -40°C/ f in winter to 40°C/ 104° f in summer time. Suction hold for 3 days on first try but it failed when we had weird weather, it went from 25°C to -15°C/ 77°f to 5°f over the night, second time it hold for about 2 weeks after which I removed it and put some hand cream on suction cup ( we are entering summer time and this works with all my suction cups) and it's still attached to my windshield, it's been over a month now. Also the whole twist to suck system is very handy, kinda wish my suction cups for work would come with same system ( tile setter). I already recommended this to my friends and family so yea, I definitely recommend this phone holder. I only tested it on glass surfaces btw.

Great Product!
The only reason I had to order new metal plates is that when I changed my phone case, the previous Carmount plates would NOT come off! Trust me I tried because I'm big on upcycling!! Received my new plates in quick order and combined with my original Carmount holder, my phone stays secure in my vehicle as I drive the rough roads in my area. Couldn't be happier with the product and looking now at the new Clutch-X mount for my wife and 2 kids, and one for me just because I think it's a cool idea!

I have several of the Clutch X mounts within my family. I had an issue where the mount arm would slowly fall down under the weight of my phone. Customer service were great and organised a replacement. Very happy with the product and service.
