Be careful with this company

Be careful with this company. The mount is not sticking to the dash of my 2024 Atlas. When the phone is attached the weight pulls it off the dash. Carmount's customer service number is a voicemail that says it does not take calls and refers you to thier web site to request a refund. You have to then request a refund contact form. Instead of sending a form, I recieve an email asking me to send a video of the issue so they can see if they can help make it work. It's a no brainer to install but I humored them and sent a video. Its been three days and no response. Be careful with this company. I will have to dispute with my cc company.

Fast Forward: Interesting that their response validates that the product does not work on my vehicle. This was not disclosed in their advertising or website. Now they expect me to pay to return it.

Regarding the mounting issue: certain vehicle dashboards, including newer models like the 2024 Atlas, use textured, silicone-coated, or soft-touch materials that can affect adhesion for any dash-mounted accessory on the market. This is why our support team requests a short video — not to delay resolution, but to confirm the surface type and determine whether an alternative placement or solution will resolve the issue before proceeding.

As for the response time, three business days can occasionally occur during higher support volume, but that does not mean your request is being ignored. Our team reviews each case individually and will follow up accordingly.

We take feedback seriously and remain committed to resolving concerns fairly and transparently.

Do not buy anything from these people - scam site

Like other reviews, also disappointed and deceived by this company. I ordered my products in early December and still have not received them. I have emailed Carmount twice asking for an update and have never received a reply. I’m feeling like this is a complete scam and I have wasted my money. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

You had no problem taking my money but have a problem finding my order! That’s ridiculous - it’s order number 789594.
Now I’m convinced you’re a scam site.

3 week wait... no delivery yet. 😑

I ordered my car mount on 14th December 2025. It is now 4th January 2026, and no delivery. That's a 3 week wait, so far. I have emailed the company twice now, and had no response. Annoyingly, I still get promotion emails from the company regularly but no response to my customer support query.

Poor delivery time. Poor customer service.

Carmount would not stay on our…

Carmount would not stay on our windscreen, even after cleaning and drying. Once the sun heated up the car interior it would fall off.
Would not recommend ... a waste of money

In reply to your request re further information, I purchased 6 of the clutch x phone mount, after cleaning the surface as per the instructions it would not always stick 1st time, I would get it to stick after 10-15 mins, however it wouldn't always stay stuck and would fall off. The one time it did stay on for a couple of days, it fell off again in the heated car temperature.
I world ideally like a refund as this cost a lot.

Deceptive sale’s tactics

Today carmount finally replied to me only bc I put it on trust pilot. There were no replies to my other requests for return shipping address. They are using deceptive sales tactics by saying product ships from USA and they leave out return address in their return policy. They offered me $13.75 when I spent $55 or you can pay international shipping which was $45. They’re duping people bc if you bought a product, you can’t return it unless you pay international shipping. Again, the same product is on Amazon cheaper and no problems with international return address. Very sad to get duped on Christmas no less. I’m disgusted. Bah Humbug!

In refund policy order has to be within 30 days and they have no return address anywhere. The phone number is inactive and they haven't responded to my email or contact us form. In edition I'm concerned return address is in Europe so I got scammed bc I can't mail back returns without an address and they don't reply n AI tells you they're having issues with their messaging. I know I'm not going to get my money back without an address which they don't reply with. I can't afford shipping internationally n I will be stuck with 3 items. There is no way to get in touch with them. In addition the shipment came from USA warehouse but returns go to Europe. The reply says their having issues w messaging and time is ticking away on return time. If you buy a carmount buy it on Amazon where you can easily make returns. Do not buy from carmount. Com. Use Amazon.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! DO NOT ORDER!!
Ordered items 12/16/25. Email response that I would receive an email in a few days with tracking information. I checked daily for email and received no tracking info that items had shipped. I replied to email and received canned responses of their system was having issues. Finally sent an email on 12/28/25 to cancel and provide a refund. Now miraculously the items have been shipped.
No customer service. I am very skeptical if items will be received and/or if a refund would be received

Old peple do your shipping?

Man, if you wanna wait on your product, order from them immediately! 9 days past my order date and still hasnt processed, apparently when it says shipping details, it doesnt say how long its going to take them to figure out you ordered something. Idgaf if its the holidays or not, judging by their inability to have email presence or have urgency to get you what you paid for, ima guess the prodoct is trash too. Cant wait finaly get these at their leisure, dont waste your time

Replacement X1 mount

I bought an X1 mount for my wife’s car and my truck back in April of 2025. It has worked as advertised and we have loved it. We have it attached to the air vent on the side of the steering wheel and the black wire is easily concealed.

Just recently, I took my phone off the magnetic mount on my wife’s X1 and the magnetic mount broke off the ball that holds it to the mount. I sent an email to Carmount on a Friday and they got back to me promptly on Monday. I talked to Charley V and she was awesome. We had some email traffic the next two days. I explained what happened. She asked for pictures which I gave to her and she sent me a replacement mount back in the mail within three days of our original email thread. The company has definitely earned my business in the future and anyone else I can talk to about Carmount. I thought it would be like other companies where they wouldn’t replace it maybe give me a hassle or 10% but I was wrong. They were easy to talk to, very polite and professional, and seemed like they enjoyed helping me. Thank you to Carmount for the great service in my replacement mount that was shipped in the mail and I look forward to buying more products from you shortly.

Total Rubbish

In my experience, nothing but rubbish. I received three yesterday. Attempted to fit one in my 4WD. The only place it would stick was on the windscreen - would not stick at all to any other surface. Fitted a second one to the hard, smooth plastic surround on the console in my wife's Hyundai, and found it on the floor this morning - it had not even had a phone attached to it yet. Total rubbish, not worth a cent.

very elegant looking and delivery on time

I ordered my carmount and it was delivered within the time limit they estimated it to be!
I appreciate this as one was a gift and arrived in time (not after the event as most do) and my friend loved it!
I am so glad I ordered 2 as mine is not intrusive in my vehicle and I can put it in the smallest space on my dash.
I really like the looks of it as well, not this thing that sticks to my windshield, very elegant looking.
I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Magsafe Phone Cover

I recently purchased the Magsafe Phone Cover from Carmount. Great matte finish, durable and really tough - perfect for someone as clumsy as me so my phone is well protected. The magsafe works a treat especially with the Carmount Clutch-X holder in my car. Highly recommended.

Scam company

Scam company. They expected me to return crap items by return postage costing $45 to some foreign country (Estonia). The items cost me $99. So I would have been out of pocket $45. They pretend to be in Australia to fool you.
Update: their reply is rubbish. They told me to return the goods to Estonia, where they would check them and then decide if they’d refund my money. I would still be out of pocket $45 for the postage ( they refused to refund that cost). No where on their website do they advise the return location as a foreign country. You assume it would be Australia as that’s the country I chose when purchasing the goods. Scam scam scam.
