Simply put, Carvana is a better way to buy a car. You can browse, finance, and purchase a car online and have it delivered to you as soon as the next day. Cutting out the dealerships translates to thousands of dollars in lower costs on every vehicle we sell. We pass these savings on to consumers in four ways: lower prices (our customers save $1,430 on average per purchase), premium cars, a better experience, and no hidden fees.

This was my first time ever selling a car to ANYONE and Carvana made it seem effortless, without any pressure, including a good offer for my car. My only disappointment was them charging me over $300 for the pickup of my car because the location where they wanted me to drive to for the drop off was a bit too far distance-wise. But overall, it was a very good experience and I'll use them again in the future if I'm ever selling again.

Solid offer. Timely inspection. Only point of feedback is that I was led to believe that inspection and pick-up would be simultaneous. Reality was that inspection happened first and then pickup happened later. Pickup was the same day for me, but I was told it could be 48 hours later. That's fine if it's the normal process, just communicate it better.

Honestly, this was the best car-selling experience I've ever had!
I decided I wanted to sell my F-150, but I didn't want the hassle of meeting random buyers or getting lowballed on a trade-in. I got an offer from CarMax, but it was $7,000 lower than Carvana's, so choosing Carvana was an easy decision.
The process couldn't have been simpler. I completed the online questionnaire, scheduled my appointment, and the driver called about 30 minutes before arriving. He showed up on time, and the entire appointment took about 30 minutes. We signed the paperwork, and that was it.
I paid the $190 vehicle pickup fee, which was deducted from my purchase price. It was absolutely worth it for the convenience.
After everything was complete, I received a thank-you text and email with all of my documents. I chose direct deposit, and the money was in my checking account the very next morning. That's definitely the way to go since you don't have to wait for a bank to place a hold on a check.
I would absolutely recommend Carvana to anyone looking to sell their car. They offered me the best price, the process was fast and easy, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations!

I am buying a car from Carvana, and they have now changed my pickup date twice.
Because of their delays, I had to move a vacation I already had booked and pay fees to change it. Then Carvana changed the pickup date again, forcing me to move everything a second time and pay even more fees. Now they are asking me to do it again! Their delays have now cost me over $2,000 in extra expenses that keep going up.
On top of that, Carvana charged me a $990 transportation fee, but they still cannot deliver the vehicle as promised. They are refusing to refund that fee, which means I am now around $3,000 in the hole because of Carvana and more fees are coming.
What makes it worse is that they refuse to be honest about what is actually going on. All I keep getting is the same scripted “I understand” nonsense with no real answers and no real solution.
This has been the worst purchasing experience of any kind in my life. I strongly advise anyone considering Carvana to look somewhere else. Do not risk getting stuck in their games, delays, hidden issues, and excuses.
Carvana has completely failed to deliver what they promised, and the customer service has been absolutely unacceptable.

Selling my vehicle through Carvana was one of the easiest and most stress-free experiences I’ve ever had. The online appraisal was quick, the offer was fair, and the entire process was simple from start to finish. The pickup was same day July 4th...crazy...they were right on time, and the representative was friendly, professional, and made everything effortless. I was amazed at how fast the paperwork (electronic) was completed. Still waiting on payoff but it did say 7-14 days to the lein holder bank. They exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! If this is the future of car sales I'm all for it.

Easy administration and execution. Carvana makes selling a car easy. My driver, Tamika, was phenomenal. Super great communicator and was on time and efficient with the pickup process. I did the electronic ACH and the deposit hit my account the same day which is so crazy!

I sold my vehicle to Carvana - the Latham, New York branch.
I had made an online appointment on their website for them to come pick up my vehicle and they confirmed it.
The day before the appointment - after getting numerous texts and emails confirming the appointment - they changed the appointment via text.
I originally picked a time slot they offered so why did they confirm and then change it?
I decided to skip their pick up and made an appointment to drop my vehicle off at their local facility. I also saved the $90 pick up fee by doing so.
The gentleman I dealt with at the local facility was FANTASTIC! His name is Ashanti. He was super friendly, upbeat, and professional. I was in and out in under 1/2 hour with a check in my hand.
The pick up situation was pretty annoying, but once I switched to the drop off option, everything turned around and this became a really nice experience. I would not hesitate to use these folks again in the future.

Car delivery was fine. A bit weird back and forth before the purchase regarding the financing as and they changed the terms after contract was signed and I had to reorder. Next issue - I was supposed to reuse my license plate, even spoke with customer service and uploaded all documents and yet these incompetent people sent me a new one with full registration fee and not the personalized plate I had.

My experience with Carvana has been incredibly disappointing. Less than 24 hours after taking delivery of my vehicle, it broke down with a transmission failure message. I had it inspected by a repair shop, and the list of issues was shocking. In addition to the transmission problems, the mechanic found multiple zip ties holding components together underneath the car, worn front and rear brake pads and rotors that needed replacement, a headlight assembly that needed to be replaced, a battery that failed testing, engine oil seepage, and a leaking strut.
While Carvana agreed to take the vehicle back, the customer service that followed was just as disappointing. After I had already paid $690 toward the original purchase, they would not make any effort to expedite a replacement vehicle, would not waive the $250 shipping fee on another vehicle I found, even though it was more expensive than the first, and would not offer delivery of the replacement.
I understand that mechanical issues can happen with used vehicles, but the number and severity of problems found immediately after delivery raise serious concerns about Carvana's inspection process. What was even more frustrating was the complete lack of flexibility or goodwill in making the situation right. After such a major inconvenience, I expected them to do something to help restore my confidence as a customer. Instead, I was left feeling like just another transaction.
I chose Carvana because I expected a convenient, trustworthy car-buying experience. Unfortunately, this experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and extremely disappointing. I would encourage anyone considering purchasing from Carvana to have the vehicle independently inspected immediately and be prepared for the possibility that customer service may not go above and beyond if something goes wrong.

I paid the full purchase price for a car from Carvana and was told it would be ready "tomorrow." That was almost a month ago.
Since then, my pickup has been delayed three separate times at the last minute. Today's experience was the final straw. I was scheduled to pick up my car at 11:30 a.m. and had received two confirmation messages yesterday telling me everything was on track. Then, at 9:30 a.m.—just two hours before my appointment—I got a text saying it had been rescheduled again.
Every time they apologize and promise the next date is real. Every time I believe them. At this point, I feel like a fool for continuing to trust their promises.
The worst part is that Carvana has had all of my money for nearly a month, while I've had no car. If I ask for a refund, they tell me it could take up to 15 days, which keeps convincing me to wait just a little longer instead of starting over somewhere else. Meanwhile, I've been without transportation since June, my money has been tied up the entire time, and I've even been paying insurance on a car I don't have.
Delays can happen, but repeatedly confirming appointments only to cancel them a couple of hours beforehand is unacceptable. If Carvana knows a car isn't ready, they shouldn't keep telling customers it will be.
I chose Carvana because I expected a simple, hassle-free buying experience. Instead, it's been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had.

I recently sold my 2014 Cadillac ATS to Carvana, and the entire process was surprisingly easy and stress-free. From getting the offer to scheduling the pickup, everything was straightforward and well-organized.
The highlight of the experience was Jacob, the driver who picked up my vehicle. He was exceptionally professional, courteous, and friendly. He took the time to carefully walk me through the pickup process, thoroughly inspected the vehicle with me, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable with each step before we completed the transaction. His attention to detail and genuine kindness made what could have been a stressful experience feel effortless.
If the rest of Carvana's team is anything like Jacob, they're doing something right. I wouldn't hesitate to use Carvana again and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a vehicle.
Selling my car to Carvana was one of the easiest and most stress-free experiences I’ve had. The online quote process was quick, transparent, and exactly what they honored when it came time to sell. Scheduling the pickup was simple, and the representative arrived on time, was professional, and handled everything efficiently. The paperwork took just a few minutes, and payment was processed exactly as promised. I appreciated how smooth and hassle-free the entire process was. If you’re looking for a convenient way to sell your car without the headaches of private buyers or dealership negotiations, I highly recommend Carvana.

I was genuinely excited about purchasing a 2026 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X through Carvana. The truck was exactly what I was looking for, and the buying process initially seemed simple and straightforward. Unfortunately, everything fell apart at the very end.
I agreed to purchase the truck, accepted a trade-in value of $9,800 for my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, and paid $1,890 to have the vehicle shipped from Arizona. I completed all of my paperwork within a day, and everything on my end was submitted over a week and a half before the scheduled delivery date.
The truck arrived at a Carvana hub about an hour from my home within just a few days, and I was notified that it would be delivered the following day. I prepared for delivery by cleaning out my trade-in, removing my license plates, and canceling my insurance.
The day before delivery, Carvana contacted me and said there would be a delay. When I called to find out why, I was told there was an issue with the registration paperwork. What surprised me most was being told that Carvana doesn't process the registration paperwork until the day before delivery. Since there was an issue, my delivery was pushed back another four days.
That simply wasn't going to work for me, as I needed a vehicle before the weekend. A manager informed me that if I chose to cancel the order because of the delay, my $1,890 shipping fee would be refunded. I specifically asked for that in writing, and they sent me an email confirming it.
I decided to cancel the order and visited my local Nissan dealership instead. Not only was I able to purchase a brand-new 2026 Nissan Frontier in less than three hours, but they also gave me **$13,000** for my trade-in—**$3,200 more than Carvana had offered**.
The frustrating part came afterward. When I called Carvana the next day to confirm my refund, I was told they would not honor what had been promised because the delay was due to a registration issue rather than a shipping issue—even though I had written confirmation from one of their managers that my shipping fee would be refunded.
It took multiple phone calls and conversations with both customer service and management before Carvana finally agreed to honor what they had already promised in writing.
I'm still waiting for my refund, and we shall see if I actually get it at this point.
My advice to anyone considering Carvana is this: the online buying process may look convenient, but be prepared for potential problems if something doesn't go exactly as planned. Delays happen, but when a company makes a promise in writing, they should stand behind it without the customer having to fight for it. Do your research, compare your trade-in offers, and don't overlook reputable local dealerships. In my case, I ended up with a better truck, a significantly better trade-in value, and a much smoother buying experience.

It was without a doubt one of the easiest and most efficient online experiences I have ever been involved with. The in person pickup of our car was an absolute pleasure and the payment was in our account within 12 hours!
Thank you all
First thing was they offered a good price to purmy vehicle. After that it went down hill fast. Only 67 miles from a drop off lot but they said on line pickup is fast and easy. The First appointment for pickup canceled. The second was also canceled. Was promised the 3rd day it will happen I took the day off without pay because I have to be present. 10
Minutes before they canceled again. Was told they would pay me for missing work sending a check FedEx still haven't seen it. Dropped it off in Cleveland an hour away. Got there a little early there was 1 couple waiting not looking happy. A woman came out of the back no good morning no welcome to Carvana just Do you have an appointment. I replied yes 10 am she asked for name I told here and she couldn't find it at first until I spelled it for her and told her Darwin set it up. She then turned her back and said I believe Kala will take care of me. The couple who was waiting was there for information a young man was helping them went out was looking at their car. He told them Carvana is appointment only but he could help them with questions. Then the woman came out of the back said they donate time you must have appointment. They left. I almost left but Kala showed up took care of me within 15 minutes and was done before my appointment time. For a place that claims to be busy where was all the customers? Bad experience won't recommend Carvana to anyone.

The easiest car selling process!
From start to finish, this was the easiest/best process for selling my car. Didn't have much interaction with staff because everything was processed online, but the couple of people I spoke with were extremely helpful.
The pickup process was so quick and easy!
We were a little nervous about using Carvana to sell our car as this was our first experience with an online dealer. We had a small amount of negative equity but their offer came in very reasonable as we obtained several other quotes from another online competitor and from two local dealerships. Once we decided to move forward with Carvana and let the car go, the online steps and the email and text communication were very clear throughout the whole process. We arranged pickup on a Saturday morning at our home and the Carvana rep called to notify us of her arrival window, she was very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. We paid Carvana the small negative equity amount, you can either pay with a cashier's check or with a credit card, and by the following Wednesday we received a notice from our bank that the balance had been paid off. We would definitely use Carvana again should we need to sell or purchase another vehicle.
