Simply put, Carvana is a better way to buy a car. You can browse, finance, and purchase a car online and have it delivered to you as soon as the next day. Cutting out the dealerships translates to thousands of dollars in lower costs on every vehicle we sell. We pass these savings on to consumers in four ways: lower prices (our customers save $1,430 on average per purchase), premium cars, a better experience, and no hidden fees.

We were a little nervous about using Carvana to sell our car as this was our first experience with an online dealer. We had a small amount of negative equity but their offer came in very reasonable as we obtained several other quotes from another online competitor and from two local dealerships. Once we decided to move forward with Carvana and let the car go, the online steps and the email and text communication were very clear throughout the whole process. We arranged pickup on a Saturday morning at our home and the Carvana rep called to notify us of her arrival window, she was very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. We paid Carvana the small negative equity amount, you can either pay with a cashier's check or with a credit card, and by the following Wednesday we received a notice from our bank that the balance had been paid off. We would definitely use Carvana again should we need to sell or purchase another vehicle.
I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Carvana. I was supposed to pick up my new vehicle today, a pickup that had been planned and confirmed for two weeks. They even went so far as to send me a confirmation email this morning telling me everything was good to go.
Then, just a few hours before my scheduled appointment, they abruptly cancelled on me. The excuse? "Registration issues." They are now pushing my delivery back by an entire week.
I rearranged my entire schedule, moved around work obligations, and changed a whole lot of plans to clear my afternoon for this pickup today. To have them pull the rug out at the absolute last minute after weeks of planning is completely unacceptable.
I expect this exact kind of unprofessional runaround, last-minute cancellation, and moving goalpost tactic from a traditional, shady used car lot. But Carvana explicitly bills themselves as a tech-forward alternative to the underhanded tactics of old-school dealerships. Turns out, it's just the same old used-car headache wrapped in a prettier app.
If you need a reliable timeline and a company that respects your time, do not trust Carvana. Absolute logistical nightmare.

Throughout the entire process, Carvana demonstrated exceptional service. We recently sold a vehicle to Carvana and experienced a seamless transaction from the initial offer, which exceeded local dealer offers, to the payoff. Our sole customer service interaction was with Jennifer, who exhibited comprehensive knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. Within 24 hours, Wesley arrived at our residence for vehicle pickup, keeping us informed about his schedule while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. The payoff process was efficiently completed within 5 days. Initially, we had some reservations about this sales method, but based on our experience, we would unequivocally recommend Carvana.
Very helpful support we had some issues with the title that we had to deal with which we did with their advice. Other than that a very smooth process, including price and pickup
The price I was offered for my trade was very fair. I was satisfied with the convenience of the process.
I was disappointed by the actual trade experience. They rescheduled my trade pickup from Thursday to Saturday and then from Saturday to Monday. when I tried to reshedulet he time for the pickup, I was told I couldn't reschedule I'd have to cancel and start over because the trade expired. I just needed to change the time for the pickup not the date but because of that, I had to make a choice and be inconvenienced or cancel the trade. That's not the greatest customer service in my opinion...
Carvana apparently doesn't provide car pickup in the Boston Area, I had to pay a towing company $375 to two the car to the drop-off center. Put's quite a dent in the dollars received from Carvana. Seller beware. Staff were great however.
I highly recommend Carvana to sell your vehicle. Every part of the way I was treated fairly with respect. There offer was fair and more than other offers. The pickup process was amazing on time and very friendly. Payment processing was fast and accurate.
High praise for Carvana.
My vehicle broke down on a Wednesday, so I started shopping for a car. I was preapproved on Carvana that night. This car buying process was very easy and that I liked. I was approved for the vehicle and had a pickup time of 10:30 on 6.05.26 (Friday) After I take off work and make plans to drive 2 hours to pick my new vehicle up, the car didn't arrive until 11:30. I will say, I felt very rushed once it did arrive. They wanted me to sign my paperwork before I saw the car, in which I did. Once I'm trying to look the car over, the guy kept saying you have a 7-day money back guarantee if you don't like it. Again, I felt rushed to leave. I loaded up my wife and 3 kids and left to drive 2 hours back home. On the way home, a low washing fluid light comes on my dash. The next day I go to fill it up and it's already full. I guess it needs a sensor. I let that slide. Two days later, my wife notices the driver seat has been damaged and repaired. I will say that it's been repaired nicely, however, that's not the point. I would've liked to have known that before I purchased it because I probably wouldn't have. The damage to the seat was not in the pictures!!!! The driver seat has been significantly repaired in 3 different spots. This is not going to last long before it rips again. I tried to call Carvana and nobody ever answers the phone. I'm on hold for ever, so I hang up because I think to myself, maybe it's because it's Sunday. I then chat online later that night and again, when I ask for an advocate, nobody gets on. Be mindful, I work Monday - Friday, I can't just play on the phone all day. I call again throughout the week during my lunch; nobody gets on the phone. I wanted to see if I could take another day off and take the car back, but I have already put over 400 miles on it and my boss said no. Finally, it's the weekend and I can play on the phone. I call Carvana on Saturday 6.13.26. I'm on hold for over 45 minutes before a lady finally gets on the phone. I explain everything to her, and she says my 7-days just went up and she can't do anything. She said if I would've called yesterday (Friday)6.12.26 they would've probably replaced my seat. What?? I have been trying to call and reach someone. Then to top it off, after I get off the phone with her, water starts dripping on my leg from under my dash. Greeeeaaat! I'm writing this so you'll be aware to check your vehicle out before you leave, especially if you live far away like me.
Carvana made this process so easy. Paperwork flowed easily. And their offer is always reasonable. Lot better than some of the local car dealerships. And the pickup of the vehicle and on-site Paperwork was made easy by the Carvana representative, Zane. What a kind man and so professional. I definitely would do business with them again. Thank you Carvana and Zane.
I was amazed how easy it was to sell my pickup to you!
You also offered the best price of anyone online I'd listed with!
The sale of my vehicle to Carvana was handled with complete professionalism from the opening bid to the final pickup. Instructions were easy to understand and follow up emails were very prompt. I would not hesitate to use Carvana again. Thank you.

This is the second vehicle I've sold to Carvana now, which ought to tell you something positive! I love how I get an instant offer and, more times than not, the offer is stronger than from any other organization! And then when it comes to going forward with the transaction, it's so easy and seamless--especially the part where they come to you (for a modest fee now, but still worth it!)! Carvana will continue to be my Number One place to go when I want to sell my car.
The experience was great because the pickup driver was very friendly.Efficient, and we covered everything very easily. He was also very quick and thorough with his exam of my vehicle. I felt that I received a very fair price from carvana and the check cashed without any problem. Thank you again for everything
Our experience selling 2008 Toyota Camry to Carvana was excellent from start to finish. The online process was simple, straightforward, and easy to complete. The offer was fair, and the instructions were clear every step of the way.
Chuck, the driver who picked up the vehicle, was professional, courteous, and punctual. He explained the process clearly, answered the questions, and made the pickup quick and stress-free.
From receiving the offer to completing the sale and pickup, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. We appreciated how convenient and transparent the entire experience was. Thank you, Carvana, and thank you, Chuck, for making the sale so easy.
I sold my car to Carvana. It was the easiest process I’ve ever had when dealing with a vehicle. The quote given for my vehicle was fair. I scheduled for them to pick it up for a fee. They did have to reschedule my pick up by one day but the communication was great. They showed up on time to pick it up. The whole process took about 15 minutes and then they were gone. They told me it could take several days to receive payment but it was in my account the same day. Would highly recommended!!
Caravana made everything went smoothly
From beginning to End
Made appointment for car pickup
Very Professional Young Man came on time
Transaction went better than expected
From the process of getting a valuation, to the pickup of the car, the process was smooth sailing. If I ever need to sell a car again I will most definitely be using Carvana.
it's very bad service after sale my toyota RAV4 to Carvana. for up 2 years, they have not transferred the registered owner from my name to the proper name either Carvana or other people. I have to be forced to pay for the registration fee for the vehicle even i have not owned this vehicle for almost 2 years. I strongly recommend not use Carvana.

There was an ongoing problem with their registration process and automated system that generated two or three messages per day, each citing an issue with registration. Every time I provided the correct information, I was promised the problem was resolved — only to receive additional messages stating that registration was still incomplete.
I spoke with eight different representatives, including agents from the registration team. After each call, I was assured the issue had been handled. Instead, I kept receiving messages saying the process would be delayed. When the registration was finally marked complete, I assumed it was over. It wasn't. The next message upon completion of the registration informed me that my pickup had been moved to a new date and time due to state requirements for registration and release.
To make matters worse, I'm trading in a vehicle. Because of these delays, I'm being forced to put additional miles on it — potentially pushing it past the 1,000-mile post-appraisal threshold Carvana allows before adjusting the trade-in value down.
The staff was kind but ill-informed and largely powerless to help. Every interaction amounted to little more than lip service. And if I cancel the purchase, I'm looking at up to two weeks to get my $50K returned — which means waiting even longer to shop elsewhere through traditional means.
In good conscience, I can't recommend Carvana to anyone.
