COMPANY LEAD BY OTHER INDIVIDUALS!!! AND MONEY!!
I had suspicions this company Coerces and conspires with other individuals, I believe my suspicions were correct, especially after our experience and what has transpired.
I will point each problem with this company with an explanation. I will also point out the fact Dr Daniel Weisberg -CEO or director of this company wanted to sort the concerns out informally and not formally with a complaint!!!? Suspicious?
On letting Dr Daniel weasel know of our concerns he agreed that the company has not done the best and needs rectifying to keep the good face of the company who he boasts is not bias, professional and not lead by others, local authorities and he formulated his company to help parents who are struggling with local authorities and waiting lists to help children, unfortunately I believe this to be untrue, especially with our experience.
We got a ASD and ADHD ordered privately for our son because local authorities delayed and stopped a CAMHS assessment taking place, after 6/7 years of waiting. Local authorities also denied support and help in and out of school for our son and also denied anything was wrong with our son and was treated as a normal child without complex needs. Local authorities also delayed a EHCP too and was pushing to keep our child in mainstream school when it was clear a special setting was needed.
Unfortunately local authorities was responsible for the private assessment, and that’s when cayp psychology got involved.
From the start the company listened to the local authorities about parents not having parental responsibility, which was untrue and the company was made aware of this but they dismissed this information and believed local authorities and outcasted us with the assessment, the company also blamed us for not getting involved. After emails back and too the company decided to just note us and not fully involve us or take accurate information, also not accurately recording any information from us either. Previous educational settings were ignored and inaccurate information recorded again. The information that the company put weight too/on was a carers who knew our son for around 5/6 months, local authorities who has met our son once a month in 7/8 months and a tutor who has met our son once a week for a total of 8/10 weeks.
•missing information and missing paperwork
The ASD assessment and ADHD investigation was completely slack dashed and inaccurate. The slack dashed findings did indicate a high presence of ASD and a Moderate presence of ADHD, but no diagnosis of ASD, nor was any other resources used to fully distinguish the extent of the ASD. A professional company and a psychiatrist would easily be able to do this, and many other companies agreed that this company is fraudulent, not very professional and to use a company that uses psychiatrist, rather psychologist. ADHD was not taken further on the account of the local authorities denying the child to be tested. Totally against human rights. A conclusion or a thorough assessment would need to have all paper work!? and information!? To which they did not have and also our son only spent 30mins with this company, not enough time to profile nor conclude an assessment.
Just on a separate note, before the non concluded assessment, the local authorities diagnosed our son with a attachment disorder and also diagnosed mother too, a local authority individual with no medical qualifications at all, so with them denying the ADHD test this would then run with there diagnosis narrative, not very child focused and also why would the company ask the local authorities for the ADHD test to be done or not, when it should have been the parents decision, but that’s where the conspiring comes in.
This assessment was used to imprison a child against their will and formulate a plan of therapies to be forced upon the child and mother.
After Dr Daniel Weisberg agreeing to the assessment being in high doubt and would need to be redone because of all the problems and a ADHD test most certainly should have been done Dr Daniel Weisberg had to communicate with the local authorities via email, we have the email which stipulates this, as it was there responsibility to get a ASD and ADHD assessment done, Dr Daniel Weisberg has completely flip flopped since that because the local authorities are satisfied with the assessment, satisfied the ADHD assessment wasn’t done and satisfied they are imprisoning a young child against his will and refusing the child to medical needs which is a act against his human rights. Dr Daniel Weisberg Also now agrees to this which we have the email to stipulating this, a total FLIP FLOP.
ALL IN ALL STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY WHO ACCEPTS LIES + DISINFORMATION

I cannot recommend Cayp ( Heidi and Jenni) highly enough. The support they have offered myself and my daughter (age 6) has been excellent. I really feel that they care about the well-being of the child and their family. The whole process from referral to diagnosis has been a quick and seamless one and I can’t thank you enough. Nicola

Karen Tinsley from Cayp was absolutely fantastic! Kind, compassionate, brilliant with ourselves and our son. What could have been a stressful process was instead a very smooth and reassuring process.

We first contacted CAYP at the beginning of November with the view of getting our 10yo assessed for ADHD. From the initial telephone conversation, Dr Anna Kearney took so much time to listen to our concerns and worries. Anna recommended we also have an assessment for Autism because of some of the behaviours we'd described.
We were offered assessment appointments within a few weeks, but we opted to be seen in December due to other long standing plans.
Throughout the whole procedure Anna was professional, approachable, very reassuring and she even took the time to meet with us before we had even committed to either of the assessments.
Our little boy was so worried about the assessment and was upset when he first met Anna at the time of his assessment. Anna suggested that I go with him for 10 minutes or so: Anna and Zoe built rapport with him immediately and he felt happy enough for me to leave after a few minutes. He said he had so much fun he wanted to go back and do it all again!
Our son had a positive diagnosis for both ADHD and Autism. Anna realised this came as a shock and she was so sensitive and positive about the whole situation.
Less than a week later we have had a full comprehensive report and we feel happy knowing that our son will get the help he needed. We can sleep easy at night knowing that he won’t struggle as much anymore and there is help available for him.
Thank you so much Anna and Zoe for all your help. We will happily recommend Anna and CAYP to anybody who needs this type of service.

I had some professional liaison with Dr Daniel Weisburg and couldn’t have found him more helpful, efficient, professional & lovely to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

I couldn't rate Anna and her team any more highly, my family and myself have struggled for years with my sons asd just trying to cope and be diagnosed. Cayp made his diagnosis simple and supportive.
Anna at cayp is simply the superhero of our story and our guide to our new bright future. I really couldn't recommend her enough or thank them enough, and I know given time and understanding my son will thank her and her team too.

No words I could express would sufficiently convey my gratitude to both Dr. Gemma Foat Smith and Dr. Alex Brown. I approached them at a critical juncture, with an Education Tribunal looming for my son Tommy-Lee. Despite having engaged a private Educational Psychologist in 2020 and a specialised SENCO teacher for three years, we were still grappling with obtaining a comprehensive diagnosis for our son. Frustrated by the wait for NHS assistance and Bupa's unwillingness to fund necessary assessments, we felt compelled to seek alternative avenues.
Facing the prospect of our son entering mainstream secondary school due to the Local Authority's assertion of insufficient evidence (despite their lack of commissioning any assessments themselves), we turned to Dr. Foat Smith and Dr. Brown. In just a month, they conducted thorough assessments, involving interviews with schools, parents, and previous evaluators, while also delving into Tommy-Lee's medical history from birth.
The outcome revealed diagnoses of ADHD, Autism, and a Learning Difficulty. Armed with these comprehensive reports, we swiftly obtained the evidence needed to compel the Local Authority to acknowledge our plea for assistance. Within days of receiving the final report, mainstream schools admitted their inability to meet Tommy-Lee's needs, leading to a specialist school confirming their capability to do so. The Local Authority, aware of the impending Tribunal defeat, is now working towards securing the placement we require.
Crucially, the detailed reports provided by Dr. Foat Smith and Dr. Brown outline specific strategies and interventions, ensuring both the Local Authority and schools are fully informed about our son's needs.
After six years of tireless advocacy, these two doctors illuminated the end of an arduous journey. The reports, using the gold standard in diagnosis, surpassed all previous assessments. Having explored other options before CAYP, I can confidently assert that it was the best investment I've made for my son.
While Tommy may not fully grasp the impact these two doctors had on his well-being and life, there is no doubt in our minds.

We paid to use this company for what was recommended to us - an ASD assessment. This assessment came with additional ADHD screening and screening for mental health disorders.
The two Dr's said my son did not meet the criteria for an ASD diagnosis. Fair enough. The ASD assessment was thorough and the staff was good with my son.
Upon reading the rest of the report, which did contain thorough detail, it has a seperate section named 'ADHD screening'.
Under the ADHD screening it had a conclusion stating **** did not meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis.
This report was then given to my GP and to my sons school.
2 years down the line after failing to secure any help and my son constantly being labelled as 'naughty, disruptive' we finally received an NHS diagnosis of ADHD.
Upon receiving this diagnosis, I contacted CAYP to complain that it states on my sons final report, did not meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis.
The owner admitted that it was staff error and it should have said 'cannot make a recommendation for an ADHD referral.
Those two statements have totally different meanings.
One means ADHD has been ruled out, he doesnt have it and the other meaning is not recommending for an ADHD referral.
The owner apologised and I requested to be reimbursed for the error. I was told no as the ASD assessment was carried out so basically I got what I paid for even though ADHD screening and mental health screening was included as standard.
I have now been accused after my Google review of maliciously trying to damage the company, which I strongly refute. Check out my Google review, it states I'm trying to maliciously damage the companies good reputation.
I paid for a service and I'm entitled to make a review good or bad.
This was my experience.
I informed the owner via email at the very beginning that I intended to post a review. I gave the company a chance to look into this error before I posted my review.
The owner then told me at the time of my sons assessment they didn't have a psychiatrist working at CAYP so even if it was ADHD, the diagnosis would have been rejected by the NHS.
As a non proffesional, I didn't know that a psychiatrist had to be involved for an ADHD diagnosis. I trusted the professionals to inform me that should i have needed to know about that and I wasn't told that by CAYP at the time.
The fact is, the diagnostic statement '**** did not meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis' was used by my sons school to then reinforce their behaviour policies and punish my son for his ADHD traits as they had evidence right in front of them that he didn't have ASD or ADHD. This also made it a lot harder to receive support from the NHS.
This report is on my sons school record permanently.
This is my review and it's factually correct whether CAYP likes it or not. This was our experience with CAYP and it unfortunately didn't help us like its helped many others.

Dr Hasan Waheed was amazing for my 11year old son, I noticed a big difference after only a few sessions. He always made him and myself feel comfortable, couldn't do enough for him. I would highly recommend cayp especially Dr Hasan, and won't hesitate to return if I feel he needs it again in the future.
Thank you from a very appreciative mum

We came to CAYP for an Autism assessment after waiting far too long on the CAMHS waiting list.
They were very professional and the whole process was timely and straight forward from start to finish.
Heidi and Jenni genuinely care and we felt this made such a difference during our daughter’s assessment.
We would definitely recommend CAYP for anybody desperately waiting for an assessment, it has enabled us to give our daughter the support she needs sooner rather than later.

CAYP came recommended to me via my son’s tutor. From start to finish I was blown away at the level of support and professionalism! I was on a tight time line as I hoped for an outcome before the end of the academic year and Dr Alexandra Brown was exceptionally accommodating. Everyone from CAYP who I came across was friendly and extremely professional. I have since gone on to recommend them to others.

Daniel Weisberg from CAYP Psychology Clinic, helped my son which had a delay in speaking and communication with assessing him professionally. The Cognitive Assessment report is an excellent source of information to understand the abilities and weaknesses in my school age child. Daniel was so polite and kind to spend quality time, collecting his data and clarifying the details to us. Now school and I can co-operate on the light of this assessment to achieve the best outcome. After being disappointed by GP and long waiting list, he became a saviour of my son’s life.

CAYP Psychology have been amazing from start to finish. I approached them with concerns for my 12 year old daughter. In all honesty, we were desperate for help and CAYP did exactly that. We were put in touch with Dr Zoe Cross who immediately listened and understood. It was a big turning point for our family and huge relief to have this support after battling so much. The sessions and diagnosis provided by Dr Cross has resulted in my daughter getting the help she desperately needs (and the knowledge that more help is available if needed). Always thankful

Amazing service from CAYP, my daughter has been under mental health services for 4 years (CAMHS and CEDS) However due to lack of evidence through failings in education she was unable to get a diagnosis which meant she was unable to get the treatment and medication that she really needed to assist her with everyday challenges.
CAYP completed through assessments with my daughter, and she was diagnosed, she can now get the treatment and support she needs to be able to function in everyday life. The workers were amazing with her and she felt very at ease. The parental support from Joss was brilliant, she explained things clearly and seemed to understand and empathise with my daughters needs she was amazing. We now have a detailed report which we can share with professionals working with her to assist in meeting her individual needs, it has already made such a difference to her to have that diagnosis.
I just wish I’d done it earlier I cannot recommend this service enough thanks so much for all your help 🤩😊😍

I would highly recommend Sarah and CAYP for ASD assessments. We have been waiting a long time with our local authority for assessment and the wait was getting longer . We researched other places but from the very start Sarah and the team replied promptly and we got seen with a few weeks of our enquiry.
Sarah at the Newcastle-under-Lyme center went above and beyond trying to get assessments done ready for the new school year . Sarah put us all at ease and was brilliant with our 7year old he didn’t get distressed at all he just went for a play with some toys . We were well informed throughout the process and the detail of the report was amazing. The payment structure had helped us with being able to pay over a few weeks . Overall all a very professional service and we head a positive experience in what is an challenging time thank you
