Molly

My son has struggled with his mental health over the last year or so leading to complications at school, poor choices for his health and arguments at home. Molly from CAYP took the time to listen to our situation and provided assessments that helped us, as a family, meet in the middle. Her help was a big part of my son beginning to make better choices, from his attitude towards school to his own health, and bringing us back together as a family unit. We can't thank you enough!

Hi Louise,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your heartfelt 5-star review with us. We are deeply touched by your kind words and thrilled to hear about the positive impact Molly had on your son's life and your family as a whole.

It is never easy to witness a loved one, especially a child, struggling with their mental health. We understand the challenges and the toll it can take on both the individual and their family. Molly's dedication to truly listen to your situation and provide meaningful assessments is a testament to her empathy and expertise in guiding families through difficult times.

We are elated to learn that Molly's assistance played a significant role in helping your son make better choices and improve his attitude towards school and personal health. Seeing positive changes in someone we care about is one of the most rewarding outcomes of the work we do.

Your words of gratitude mean the world to us and motivate us to continue providing the best support and care to our clients. At CAYP Psychology, we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we work with, and your review reassures us that we are on the right path.

Once again, thank you for choosing CAYP Psychology, and we wish your son and your family all the happiness and continued progress in your journey together.

In the meantime, we have continued to build on our climate positive action pledge. For every review that we receive, we plant 50 trees and offset 1 tonne of carbon dioxide by contributing to sustainability projects around the world. We have planted your 50 trees (Leucaena leucocephala is a small fast-growing mimosoid tree native to southern Mexico and northern Central America and is now naturalised throughout the tropics including parts of Asia. Common names include jumbay, pearl wattle, white leadtree, river tamarind, ipil-ipil, tan-tan, and white popinac) in Tanzania. The CO2 has been offset via avoiding methane emissions from landfill in Brazil. The main objective of the project is to prevent emissions of methane gas into the atmosphere from the landfill site called “Central de Tratamento de Resíduos Macaúbas” located in the municipality of Sabará in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The implementation of this project will both prevent environmentally damaging methane from being released into the atmosphere and export electricity to the grid, while preventing emissions of methane. Additionally the project will provide jobs and income generation, as qualified operators are needed to maintain and operate the machinery.

ADHD assessment for son.

My son has recently undergone an adhd assessment with Sarah Greenhaf. He has been really struggling and Sarah has made what initially felt like a stressful and overwhelming process, a manageable and positive one. The process was clearly outlined and I felt supported from start to end. My son was made to feel comfortable and at ease throughout and his best interests were paramount at all times. Thanks to this intervention and the recommendations, I feel my son now has a chance to move forward in a positive manner and achieve his individual best with the correct support in place. I would highly recommend this service to any parent who wishes to give their child some hope and support.

Positive, Understanding and Professional

I would like to thank both Shri and Louise for working with my daughter and for giving us the clarity that we needed to move my daughter on with her life, as educators were not picking up on the difficulties my daughter was facing in everyday life. I can not thank Shri enough for working closely with my daughter, giving me the reassurance that I was not wrong and for being understanding, whilst being professional in her manner. I would recommend CAYP Psychology to anyone, as this was our last hope in answering so many questions which could not be answered by educational professionals.

Cognitive assessment for son

The clinical psychologist was lovely and very helpful. She looked after my son very well during his assessment. After reading the final report, the assessment was well worth the money and will benefit my child in terms of support at school and day to day life. We now know his strengths and weaknesses and things the school need to do to support his learning. She also recommended getting referred for assessments for adhd and co ordination developmental disorder by our gp which was extremely helpful.

Outstanding Support

Outstanding Support: If you are reading this review then you are probably looking for someone to help a loved one going through a tough time, while at the same time feeling worried yourself. Trust us we have been there! Our child was suffering with anxiety and nerves which were stopping him doing the things he loved the most. We started therapy sessions with Sophia and instantly found her to be understanding, knowledgeable, supportive and clearly passionate about what she does. Her hands on approach to getting to the route of any issues, coupled with a step by step action plan has really helped our child who has made great steps forward and is improving all the time. Can't recommend her enough.

My son recently had a cognitive assessment with Jenni Jardine. We have been waiting under the NHS ridiculously long now for ASD assessments etc, and my sons learning is significantly effective by this due to not having the correct support in place! So we booked here based on a recommendation from a mum at school and within three weeks he’s been given the assessment, I and my partner had met Jenni following this assessment and a report had been issued to my sons school. It was thorough and very efficient. Jenni was extremely professional and comforting during this time.

I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for my son George. Hopefully this will help with interventions being put in place at school to help my boy carry on shining!

A thorough process for a potential ADHD diagnosis with a BRILLIANT Clinical Psychologist - highly recomended.

From my first email To CAYP Psychology (on a Sunday which was responded to on the Sunday) right through the whole ADHD potential diagnosis process CAYP have been really good. We dealt with Barbara Di Benedetto who was FANTASTIC and kept us fully updated throughout the very thorough process for my 18 year old son, she was proactively responsive to every single enquiry or question I asked and I felt fully supported, listened to and understood. Most importantly, I felt she really cared. I can thoroughly recommend CAYP and especially Barbara very highly - we changed to them after a less than satisfactory initial first experience with a different company and my gut feeling was right.

ASD assessment

We engaged CAYP for an ASD assessment for our son. Jenni and Anne handled our case. They were very clear with us from the outset on what to expect and that they may not be able to diagnose. They were supportive, sensitive, and professional throughout the whole process. Our son hasn’t been able to cope with talking to anyone outside our household for some time, certainly not professionals, but he managed to open up to Jenni and Anne which is testament to how well they managed the situation. The report provided is very thorough and should help us access the support we need for our son. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful review about your experience with us at CAYP Psychology. It appears that the assessment provided by Jenni and Anne perfectly met your expectations. We strive to deliver the best and most professional service for families, and we are thrilled to have achieved that for you. We are thrilled that your son felt comfortable and opened up to our psychologists. It's incredibly valuable when individuals feel safe and willing to share their thoughts and feelings. We sincerely appreciate your time in reflecting on your experience with us.

If there is anything else that we can do to help, please do be in touch. In the meantime, we have continued to build on our climate positive action pledge. For every review that we receive, we plant 50 trees and offset 1 tonne of carbon dioxide by contributing to sustainability projects around the world. We have planted your 50 trees (Mangifera indica - a large fruit tree, capable of growing to a height of 30 metres) in Ethiopia. The CO2 has been offset via a project turning local organic waste into electricity in India. This project also avoids methane emissions due to improper disposal of waste dumped at dumpsites and landfills. Besides significant annual emission avoidance up to 70,000 tonnes CO2, the project activity supports 73 local jobs.

Thank you again,

With best wishes,

Amazing from start to finish

I known from a young age something wasn’t right with my boy jacob aged 8 but he is so clever and masks his behaviour so i had no support from school or the NHS we decided to go private and it’s the best decision we ever made, from start to finish the whole process seemed effortless nothing was too much for jenni and anne i was worried jacob would mask in the ASD assessment like he does at school but this wasn’t the case there were both amazing with jacob and finally got the answered we have waited so long to here i can’t thank anne and jenni enough and now with this diagnosis we can finally start to help help and get him the support he needs

Hi Samantha,

Many thanks for taking the time to share your wonderful review of your experience with us here at CAYP Psychology. It seemed that the assessment that Jenni and Anne offered for you was exactly what you were looking for, particularly as it seemed you were let down by school and the NHS teams. We really do work hard to try to offer the best possible and professional service for families, and it looks like we were able to offer that for you. We're delighted that we were able to offer such a thorough assessment that truly captured all of Jacob's strengths and differences, and we hope that our report helps to bring about the support that sounded so necessary. Thank you again for taking the time to reflect on your experience with us.

For every review that we receive, we plant 50 trees and offset 1 tonne of carbon dioxide by contributing to sustainability projects around the world. We have planted your 50 trees (Dodonaea viscosa - the broadleaf hopbush) in the Mau region of Kenya. The CO2 has been offset via a project to generate solar electricity in Indonesia This project will is based on the island of Lombok, and provides renewable solar energy to a grid which is currently dominated by fossil fuels. By providing this electricity to the grid and displacing energy produced through fossil fuels, this solar installation generates emissions reductions estimated to be 34,000 tonnes CO2 per year.

The project also supports 69 local jobs.

Thank you again,

ADHD assessment

CAYP was recommended to me by a family member who knew of the organisation through her work. I didn't know where to start looking when I decided to have my son assessed for ADHD. The local CAMHS team are amazing but I was told that the waiting time for ADHD assessment is over 3 years. My son is taking is GCSEs next year so I decided to source a company we could access sooner.

From the initial phonecall, I felt I was in safe hands. Dr Jenni Jardine explained the process and booked in the initial assessment. She is amazing and lovely. So softly spoken and kind but knows her stuff! My son really liked her too which is important in a process like this.

The initial assessment with just me, was on Teams but my son's assessment was in the CAYP office in Whitefield. My son loved having time off school to travel to Manchester! The final appointment to discuss the assessment results was offered on Teams or face to face..my son chose face to face so he could have more time off school (it ended up being on a national strike day so his plans were scuppered!)

Jenni also contacted my son's school so she had information from me, my son and school.

The report from Jenni was thorough and absolutely 100% 'got' my son, not just from the assessment results but she had taken the time to get to know him. His teachers at school are amazed at how good the report was and described my son perfectly. It's like all the little pieces of a jigsaw have finally come together and it makes sense. To get a diagnosis of inattentive ADHD for him, will help us all move forwards and get the support and guidance we need.

Jenni's report gives clear recommendations and guidance for both school and home.

I would absolutely 100% recommend Jenni at CAYP for ADHD assessment. Thank you Jenni 🙂

Hi Rebecca!

WOW! thank you for your fab review and we are so pleased that you were happy with Dr Jenni and the entire process. If there is anything that we can help with in the future, please feel free to get in touch as we will always try to help!

In the meantime, we have continued to build on our climate positive action pledge. For every review that we receive, we plant 50 trees and offset 1 tonne of carbon dioxide by contributing to sustainability projects around the world. We have planted your 50 trees (Trichilia emetica - commonly known as the Natal mahogany) in Marotola, Madagascar, and the CO2 has been offset via capturing waste biogas for energy in Turkey.

This project aims to capture the landfill methane released from existing landfill and convert into electricty. This project not only prevents harmful methane from being released into the atmpsphere, and contribute to global warming, but also displaces fossil fuel-generated energy in the grid. This project is set to reduce emissions by about 100,000 tonnes of carbon disoxide per year.

Our daughter's autism assessment

Our daughter's autism assessment was carried out by Dr Charlotte Chapman and Nicola McNamara (SALT) (Charli and Nic). It was a wonderfully positive experience from bringing to end. I asked Charli lots of questions before our assessment regarding to the assessment of autistic girls and she was able to answer and reassure me that their process would be thorough and that they understand how autism presents in girls. On the day itself it felt like a celebration of our daughter and Charli and Nic were friendly, respectful and professional throughout. We learnt a lot and came away with new ways to support our daughter. Afterwards we recieved a thorough and useful report and a follow up review. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any family looking for autism assessment and if I'm looking for psychological support for my daughter in the future this is the first place that I would turn to. I was sad when the process was over and it was time to say goodbye!

Elene was brilliant

Elene was brilliant ! My daughter really liked her, Elene made it easy to for them to talk openly, although it was all online. I feel that the methods my daughter learned during their sessions will serve her in life and not just about the initial challenge.

Barbara was utterly phenomenal

Barbara was utterly phenomenal. She made the process of having our 6 year old son diagnosed completely effortless. As parents we have felt 100% supported and she has guided us through it all. Our son enjoyed meeting her and felt safe with her and her colleague. We would recommend her completely.

Thank you CAYP psychologogy and Dr Zoe Cross

We have just completed an ASD and ADHD assessment for our child with Dr Zoe Cross and the process has been quick from start to finish and the level of support, advice, kindness and patience throughout this from Zoe to us as a family has been just superb. After a very frustrating wait and getting nowhere with the NHS and feeling totally unsupported, this assessment process and diagnosis has felt like a weight has been lifted. The process is simple too, the questionnaires are on-line so really easy to complete and our child enjoyed their assessment. We can now move forwards with the recommendations from the report and lots of areas to explore further. Thanks for all involved.

We would highly recommend …

We would highly recommend anyone to Cayp if they have concerns for their child. We were facing over a year wait to have an Education assessment done in school. The whole process was completed in 5 weeks from my first phone call, ending in a very detailed congnitive functioning report and clear advice for me to pass on to school. Jenni was lovely and put our daughter at ease during the assessment. We are so pleased that we finally have a diagnosis and plan that will enable her to grow and flourish to reach her full potential.

Hi Helen,
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. As a small business we are very grateful for the reviews that we receive.

We are delighted to hear that you were happy with the detailed report Dr Jardine provided for you. We are pleased that she made your daughter feel so at ease throughout the assessment.

If there is anything else that we can do to help, please do be in touch. In the meantime, we have continued to build on our climate positive action pledge. For every review that we receive, we plant 50 trees and offset 1 tonne of carbon dioxide by contributing to sustainability projects around the world. We have planted your 50 trees (Leucaena leucocephala - a small fast-growing mimosoid tree) in Iringa, a region in the south of Tanzania. The CO2 has been offset via a project to provide cleaner cooking stoves throughout Kenya. This project will distribute and install 380,000 fuel-efficient ‘Jikokoa’ cookstoves to communities around Kenya. These stoves reduce charcoal consumption by 64%, helping to ease the impact on local forests, and saving local families money. The stoves reduce indoor air pollution by 65%, generating health benefits for the families who rely on them.

Thank you.
