We have used CBLS for our extension. We have been so impressed by the excellent service from initial design ideas through to construction. The designs were top quality and they suggested features that my husband and I would never have thought of ourselves. But what has impressed us the most is the punctual communication throughout the whole project. We have been guided step by step through the planning process and they have liaised with the various third parties on our behalf (planning officers, building control, structural engineer, builders etc) throughout the project, ensuring those people deliver their input on time and making the process as stress free as possible for us. In particular Adam has been on hand to answer all of our (many!) questions along the way with his expert and clear advice. All in all we couldn’t recommend CBLS highly enough.

Chris started job well, then bad communication. let me down a number of times not turning up to finish job. never finished job!! stopped all communication. I had to find another Electrican!!!

Luke has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Whilst the project has been stalled by planning issues so we haven't been able to experience his structural plans or on site reporting his architecture design and planning assistance so far has been great. He goes above and beyond assisting with measurements and documents for party wall, builders, windows etc and always makes himself available. Our planning has been an absolute nightmare but he has stayed calm and has dedicated a huge amount of time to try and get our dream project approved which we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel on. I feel like he is a real asset and partner on the project and look forward to experiencing his skills in structural planning and site reports etc. Highly recommended.

Luke at CBLS worked tirelessly from start to finish on our extension project, which being a listed building was not straight forward. All of the tradesmen involved with building the extension commented on how detailed Luke's drawings were which was really reassuring and comforting. He dealt with the planning department at our local council and followed through with everything meticulously. He has always been on the other end of the phone to help and nothing was ever too much trouble. As a result we have naturally recommended CBLS to others and they have been employed to design the extension on the house next door to us, another listed building. Cannot recommend CBLS enough really!

Luke at CBLS has been amazing from our very first meeting with him. Luke is friendly and has been very patient with us and our many questions. He interpreted our various ideas and created detailed plans which fitted our criteria.
He is extremely knowledgable and has good insight into how the local planning departments differ and what each one is looking for to ensure that our plans successfully received permission without any need for changes.
He always replies promptly to emails and has completed plans quickly and thoroughly and explained everything so we know what’s happening at every stage.
