I am totally in agreement with all of the reviews below that this company is a complete con!! My experience with these guys started well but raidly deteriorated. I purchased from celeb Boutique and was not surprised when I could no longer find the "Celeb Boutique" website.. it didn't take me long to work out they had rebranded themselves as House of CB. I wondered just how many people must have had similar experiences to me which is what led to them having to rebrand themselves...
I ordered a dress from Celeb Boutique for my Summer Ball in my final year of university. As it was my last year and my last ball I decided to spend £180 on a gorgeous pale blue dress.
When the dress arrived, naturally I tried it on. It was first thing in the morning so I had no make up or purfume on. Sadly the dress didn't fit, so I neatly packaged it back up in its box and sent it back.
Not long after, the dress was returned to me. I received an email to say the dress could not be returned as it smelt like purfume and had make up on it. They said that they could not refund it as they concluded it had been worn and worse still - when they returned the dress to me, THEY had cut the tags out of it so I could not send it back again!!
I had not wore the dress so it did not smell or purfume, nor were there any make up marks on it.
I emailed the company back and forth pictures of the neckline of the dress proving there were no make up marks and I said that THEY had returned the dress to me without the tags so THEY had cut the tags out.
The email exchange went back and forth for weeks and I had different people emailing me all the time.. Nikki, Lucy.. others whose names I don't remember. I sent countless pictures of the dress to prove there were no make up marks and no dark patches from where they suggested purfume had been sprayed. It was a light coloured dress made with an observant material.. if purfume had been worn it would have left marks.
They wouldn't have any of it. They did not comment on the pictures I sent proving there was no make up and accused me of cutting the tags out myself. They simply kept saying "we cannot assist you any further." The dress even had its safety band thing around it from the neckline of the dress to the bottom - making it impossible to wear the dress without cutting this off. I returned the dress with this band still in tact yet when the dress came back to me, this band had also been cut off.
Clearly I had photo evidence of the non-existent make up marks but I didn't think for one minute I would have needed to take photos of the dress with the tags still in it and the band still on BEFORE sending it back.
The company are complete cons. They have no phone number to call and They had cut the tags out and said it was me!! I had sent the dress back with the tags and band still on it. How do they get away with this?!
I got absolutely nowhere with them and like many other people on this page I had correspondence from a variety of people with a variety of names but ultimately they all said the same - they could not help any further. They were not one bit interested in what I had to say. All they cared about was having the money for a dress that did not fit and that they had cut the tags out of, preventing me ever having a leg to stand on getting my money back!!
Now I'm left with a dress that does not fit and -£180 down in my bank account.

I made the mistake of reading the reviews after ordering. So I was worried about my order, the size, quality etc.
However, I was pleasantly surprised. The dress I ordered was not something I would normally feel comfortable in however after losing 2 stone my confidence has increased.
The dress was exactly how it was pictured. It came wrapped and in a box and the quality was as I expected. I bought it on sale and don't believe it was worth the full price or sale price but there was something about it that I couldn't say no to.
Before anyone says I work for them I don't. It's actually the first time I've bought from them as I believe they are overpriced. That being said my first experience with them has been a positive one and I wanted to share it.

There is no contact number advertised and a number I found on google goes straight to answer phone.
You can only contact by email and they are very unhelpful.
Consumers are not protected by legislation as they operate outside of Europe.
The clothes are overpriced and very badly made. They do not look like the pictures on the website.

I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to for this company.
I originally received a two piece set of clothing as a birthday present, before I had even had the chance to try on the outfit I noticed fake tan marks on the inside of the top part of the garment. Ofcourse I sent it back, I then had to contact them to see if they had received my item only to be told that they received it three days prior to my email.
After a lengthy 3 weeks of going back and forth on emails, nothing had been sorted out, mainly due to every email I got in response was from a different person and each one was just as clueless as the next.
I decided to call up one of their shops to see if they could offer any advice, only to be told by the woman that it 'wasn't her problem'. When I told the customer service team about this they brushed it off as if it was nothing.
I work for a clothing company and we wouldn't dream of dealing with our customers the way they deal with theirs.
I will never be ordering from this company again.

Disgusting company would never order of them again ' if u order clothes you are stuck with them ! Even if the clothes don't fit ! Absolute disgrace ! I never write reviews but in this case I don't want anyone else making the same mistake as me and be lumbered with dresses thAt don't suit or fit! They have lost a good customer will never shop there again

THE WORST COMPANY EVER! RUN!!
I purchased a dress that I returned back in October. I was told I couldn't get my money back as I had bought it on sale. I was sent a voucher code that I used to purchase 1 jacket. Didn't enter my card details, nothing! Just the voucher code. I received two jackets instead of 1, informed them thinking maybe an error had been made by sending me 2 jackets. I was then informed that i had purchased 2 jackets of the same kind so they took money out of my debit card. The question is how when I hadnt even entered my bank details at point of purchase? I was offered an exchange (lol.. their clothes are crap anyway) and not my money back!

Apparently two separate items I ordered suffered "water damage" in transit
I look on house of cb and buy things all the time .. I spotted their new range on the first day it came on site
Nude pearl embossed skirt and bodysuit so ordered immediately at £189 each not cheap! Waited a week for it then get a mail In the morning saying the bodysuit suffered water damage and I will get a refund?? I didn't want a refund .. there is no number to call them and so I emailed .. got no response
At the very end of same day I get another email saying the matching skirt has suffered water damage in transit so il get a refund?? What total liars!! More like they gave my items to someone else - so much for buying their more expensive items as soon as they come out or the fact that you're a good customer .. total joke!!!
Customer service is awful
I have been a loyal customer with celeb boutique for over 10 years, probably sending at least £1000 over the years, I have found that there service have fallen short over the most recent years.
Deliveries, never order and expect your delivery to arrive on time.
I would recommend this is reviewed by cb, as I've been let down, when needing a dress for a weekend event.
I recently purchase in good faith a 2 dresses in the black Friday sale, I was absolutely shocked to find by Monday, in the cyber Monday sale the dress had been further reduced. I feel duped, if the company reduced further items, fair enough! but to reduce the items I just purchase 2 days ago, just isn't in good faith.
To make the situation worse the dress where delivered in the wrong size! I'm exasperated!!!
The fact that I have to pay to return is also frustrating.
For a company that is more expensive than Boo hoo or Asos they beat this company hands down.
I like their garments, but this is the last time I'll buy from them.

So after being recommended CB and hearing from a friend that she had some great dresses from there I thought I would give it a go.
I found a dress for £179 in the sale for £69!! This sounded amazing, so I purchased the dress in 2 sizes to be safe not to miss out on the dress.
WELL! Once I received the dresses the quality was very poor. The material was completely see through with thread hanging. I only bothered to open 1 as it was terrible quality but the size also fitted. I then found out on the delivery note that you couldn't take back to store and could only exchange or refund online if you had purchased off the website. I then went online to look at the returns policy... SALE ITEMS CANNOT BE REFUNDED. At no point at the point of purchase did Celeb Boutique mention this. Also you have to pay to return the item and if you do select refund (which will be a store credit to only be spent online) the cost of the delivery to get your dresses to you in the first place will also be deducted. So now I'm either stuck with 2 dresses I can't wear and £140 down or I get an exchange of clothes/items I do not want or I get a store credit which will be much less than what I've spent out.
When I emailed CB to say that I wasn't made aware of any of this before purchasing, they said there was absolutely nothing they could do and I should have looked at the link that shows refund instructions etc. When do people ever look at this, no website has such absurd policies, plus at no time when purchasing did you have to check T&C's! Do not buy from this company!!
Waste of money
Bought two dresses from this company for £129 these where lovely and where good quality. As I am going away on holiday I bought 5 more pieces from this company, well....the quality of the items I purchased where just horrendous! Clothes are not true to size...absolutely NOT worth the money they are casting for. I would pay 30-40 pounds for the hundreds they are asking for, just terrible.
After reading the reviews I just couldn't be bothered to go through the returns procedures so going to sell the items on eBay! I've bought better garments at reasonable prices from the high street stores.

'Colour may vary due to lighting on images'
Ordered a dress here for my 21st birthday, with 1 week to go an being unsuccessful everywhere else I was over the moon to find a 'blush pink' floor length strapless dress! I ordered it and when it arrived and opened the box it was ... BROWN?! not even close to what the picture looked like!! I wrote and email straight away, only to receive back a very rude email stating that it does state on the side that 'colour may vary due to lighting on images' and to best go with the pictures of the colour of the dress that isn't on the model... well I read that before ordering and I looked at all pictures and it still 100% wasn't a brown. Took it to a professional dress maker to see if there was anything to do and she said there was no chance it was just 'professional' lighting the colours were FAR too different for that kind of mix up!!! customer service is atrocious! will not be back and won't be returning! awful company awful service

After ordering a pair of trousers for £79.00 they arrived i tried them on and they was too long.
The day later i sent them back in the box ect ect. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing about my refund i email them. I received an email back to say they are reviewing the items and will be in touch. One week later still no refund......emailed again to bed told the trousers was dirty (in the crotch area) oh my goodness i am totally disgusted!!! I find this totally unacceptable that they can actually lie instead of giving you your money back. Do not buy from this company there customer service is rubbish!!! They lie and dont like to refund. I have now contacted my credit card company to stop the payment. Please be warned!!

Sizing chart is not accurate ! Items run small. No contact number. Everything runs by email. Save your money. I order clothes according to measurements on the chart. Big mistake.
Awful company with no consideration for customers
Ordered a dress for my step fathers funeral and it arrived with a hole in the armpit. Customers service was awful, no contact number, only let's you contact them by email. Their response was send it back so we can assess the item and when I informed them this would leave me without a dress for the funeral their response was "it's out policy". I told them that I'll have to stitch the hole for the funeral and then send it to them to which the replied "if repaired or worn we can not offer you a refund or replacement". Just charming.

Anyone who buys from this company has been fooled into paying £50+ for a label and a box and are bragging about paying £100+ for a £30 dress!
CB are registered in Hong Kong, China. Not the UK. Their postal address is, as stated on their website:

DO NOT SEND ANY RETURNS TO THIS ADDRESS - I wonder why...
All it takes is a little google search of their address to see that this is just a Chinese manufacturer and lots of companies are registered with this address.
Every single dress is made in China and ships from China, not the UK.
The dresses can be found for £30 from Chinese manufacturers on AliBaba, DHGate, SammyDress, etc.
CB started off with dropshipping directly from China (being the middle man where people place orders on a UK site and then the orders are just sent directly from the factory in China). The label on the dresses back then said CelebCityNY which was not CB. They would cut out part of the care label to stop people finding the manufacturer by the product code. This was set up by a 17 year old girl from her bedroom, Conna Walker! Smart cookie knew how to fool people. The website was amateur looking back then.
As they got popular, they found manufacturers who would put their brand label on the dresses. They then put them in a fancy box with some ribbon, all of which can be bought for £2-3 wholesale, spent lots of money on marketing to get lots of followers on social media, gave celebrities free dresses and voila!
Now people are obsessed with posting pictures of themselves wearing this overpriced tat because of the brand name and apparent Luxury because of the price.
CB have been investing a lot of time and money to stop this being exposed. Plenty of sellers on ebay have been forced off the site and small boutiques selling these dresses are being threatened.
I gotta hand it to CONna, for being a CON artist and getting rich from it but people need to know the truth.

I would strongly advice everyone to stay far away from this company. The type of dresses they sell are not up to standards to what the prices are! the customer service is absolutely disgusting and they will not help in the slightest.
I ordered a dress online at the price of £150. When the dress arrived it was completely see through and was not suitable to wear out at all!
There advertising is horrendous. once I seen how different the dress looked compare to how they advertised it I paid £7 to return this item back.
I then emailed to confirm if they had received the item to then have an email back saying that they will not refund me for my item as they detected perfume on the dress. After countless of emails they took 4 days to respond (even though on there website it states "replies within 24 hours" and when asking for head of complaints department they completely ignored my question and said how they can not assist me any further.
The item was returned new and unworn and all the tags were still in place. (which is what it states in there policy) They expect people to not try on an item which is an absolute joke I had perfume on from the morning and cant image that a strong sense of perfume was detected as I tried it on 9 hours later.
myself and 2 friends of mine commented on there Facebook page to make everyone aware of this situation and all post were deleted. To which another post was put up by another friend of mine and that post was also shortly deleted.
They do not have a contact number and expect everyone to be dealt with by emails where they can easily fob you off!
I have had to contact Citizens Advice and they have let me know all my consumers rights and they will also be going to Trading Standards in regards to this situation.
The company is a joke and will do anything to keep money.
WORST COMPANY FOR CLOTHES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Purchased my first piece of clothing in December for a work night out, waited for a week for "next day delivery", when i sent an email it took half a week for anyone to get back to me.
(Whenever i buy clothing online i always check bust, waist and length size)
When it arrived it was too tight and was about 2 sizes too small around my bust, i thought nothing of it and returned for a refund. Once i was refused a full refund and told i should of read the terms and conditions properly i would have seen that you can only get a refund via store credit (which in my eyes when i read you could get refunds if returned in 14 days = means a refund, it should be stated clear)
I then ordered a low cut tanned body suit top to find out it was completely see through showing my whole chest!!! Looking back at the picture with the model it showed no sign of nipples anywhere suggesting editing/photoshop!
After 15± emails demanding refunds all i get back is the same response via different senders = nikki, kate ---- act
After raging due to the fact I've lost money i went back to the site to find something for my birthday... a baby pink backless bandage top with a hole to show the cleavage with a nice bit around the neck... i checked carefully with the size with my bust because i was not having the same problem as the previous 2... Once it came, it was a complete shock on how bad the product was i wish i took a picture. My boobs couldn't even fit into whilst the neck piece was 10 times too big and baggy!!!!!!!!
After sending further lengthy emails to CB i am still getting nowhere and i resorted into buying a £34 plain black clutch which is too high for what it really is and a £20 tan lotion .... leaving me with £5 left over which i want back. I almost...almost went to get a cheap and nasty phone case from the site just so i didn't waste the 5 left over but amusingly enough they did have it for my kind of phone :)
DONE SHOP HERE!! ITS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE CHEAP CLOTHES THAT ACTUALLY TURN UP TO YOUR DOOR AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE

I am so angry with CB!!!
After ordering the "Lucy" blazer in black in XS which I already have in another colour in XS I was shocked to find it was far too small in fact would not even fasten! Tried my other one on to see that still fits perfect with room. After sending the blazer back and sending an email as to find out why their sizing is obviously mixed up I was told that there was nothing wrong with their sizes and I would not be refunded for my £6.55 postage to send it back!!!
Checked my online banking for my refund also to find that the £47.00 which the blazer was advertised for actually included the postage in it's price (making out that the postage was free!) I have only been refunded with £41.00. It might not sound like alot of money but I don't see how this is my fault!!!
Has anybody also noticed how on CB's emails it mentions Hong Kong!!! Just shows you how much they must be getting the clothes made for and selling them for an absolute fortune but can't give us a few pound back for their mistakes!!!
Won't be ordering from them again!!!
