No communication - Barnstaple

I wanted some foils to try and add a bit of life to my mostly pale grey hair. I spoke to the girl at the counter, who offered went through the options. After explaining that I had previously had foils in two colours I opted for 24 foils and a cut. I was then spoken to by a chap who asked me again if I wanted the blow dry. I declined. I was shown to a chair. Yet another chap then appeared and started combing my hair and putting it up, then started putting in foils. He didn't talk. Didn't confirm with me what I had asked for. Sometime later I was taken to a basin and rinsed. When I was returned to my chair and put my glasses back on I discovered that they had bleached highlights in the top and front of my already pale and mostly colourless hair. When I pointed out I hadn't asked for highlights they were astonished. The chap then gave me the fastest hair cut I have ever had. I wasn't charged for the foils. The chap offered to put in some lowlights, but I would have to wait. By then, I had had enough and left. I don't know why this happened, why couldn't the guy who bleached me ask me what I wanted, rather than rely on 'Chinese whispers', as far as I could tell he hadn't even spoken the girl on reception. Communication was poor. Maybe they could write it down if they aren't going to talk to each other. The whole experience was poor. I now have what appears to be a poor home bleach/lawnmower job.

Absolutely welcoming place a lovely…

Absolutely welcoming place a lovely friendly place to go a lovely helpful lady offered me a drink and sat me down and helped with colour ect .
Absolutely fantastic to go for hair and very very friendly and welcoming staff
💯 percent recommend.

I didn't like my experience

I didn't like my experience, first time the ink quality was horrible, second time they didn't paint and cut my hair because of a colleague incompetence, I had a big event had to paint my own hair ( that I hated and was a big mess) and improvised hairstyle

AWFUL BULGARIAN STYLIST! RUN FAST AWAY FROM HERE

I HAVE TO GIVE REVIEWS because ism not happy 😒, I hate hairdressers because they NEVER LISTEN TO YOU, and I was so right! I recently had shoulder surgery so I hadn't wash my hair and desperately needed a wash and cut, I been to cellys before but I haven't been to them over 3yrs and is now under New management and price have increased 3times as much OMG! I asked for a wash / cut the silly hairdressers said it be £63 because I have long hair, but after washing my hair she was struggling to comb the knots out and pulling at my hsir, I told her to used her fingets to untangle it and not pull my hair!! She only trimmed my hair at the front when I keep saying to her 'are you going to cut the back' 3 times.. after blowing drying my hair ( she still hasn't cut it by this time) I asked again, PLEASE CUT MY HAIR AT THE BACK! she took a small strand snip it and then said there happy now! NEVER AGAIN I WILL GO HERE, the hairdressers was Bulgarian and had a really strong accent and is a wonder why they NOT BUSY! DESERVED ZERO STAR 😡DONT GO HERE THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY

Awful …

I visited the winton branch yesterday i have seen carla before who did a brilliant job on my hair but when I went today she wasn't working so I had a different stylist, I needed lowlights as the home dye I'd used had turned my hair a Brassey blonde colour, I shouldve seen the red flags when she repeatedly asked the other stylist there what she should do,the stylist she was asking seemed very competent and knowledgeable i should've waited until she had finished with her client and asked for her to do it, when the stylist, I don't know her name had finished my hair it looked absolutely awful, worse than it did beforehand, I told her it looked ginger in colour and she told me it was because I'd used a home dye which resulted in this! I was charged £127! I was so upset when I got home, I actually cried it was that bad, I won't be going back there again

Awful experience at boscombe

Awful experience at boscombe. Very rude hairdresser . Didn't listen to a word I said or discussed style with me just shaved most of it off then hacked with Siccors, I was just shocked with the entire process.
Music very loud so she wouldn't have heard anyway, when finished I just wanted to pay and leave, asked to pay by card again very rude and kept saying cash only when a card machine right by her. Eventually paid and told to leave.
I've tried phoning and keep putting phone down. It can not be sorted I've got to wait till it grows, I honestly don't won't to leave house looking like this, please avoid

Thank you so much to "J" in Taunton, - an excellent cut as always.
J is a great stylist with a super manner, attention to detail and always welcoming. With visits every 5 to 6 weeks, to keep my thick, curly hair in shape - I wouldn't go anywhere else! Great service.

She took so much time sorting my hair…

She took so much time sorting my hair after my home hairdressing and hat she worked after hours. I can't thank her enough as felt awful with my mess. Then working her magic my hair looked great again and felt silky soft after feeling like straw. I don't know how she did it. But I was so embarrassed and now I can go out again thankyou so muchx

Bad hairdresser

Not rating the haircut one star I’m rating my overall experience with the hairdresser one star. I like an “edgy” alternative style and wanted my hair to match my aesthetic, I had my hair cut where one side is longer the the other but short like a pixie cut. My hair had grown so I went in today for a trim, the hairdresser I had started questioning me about my choice of haircut saying “don’t you want to look pretty?” “Don’t you want long hair?” I honestly felt like I had to explain myself to her. As a professional in the hairdressing industry you would expect her to be more empowering to women not tear them down and start questioning why they want a certain hairstyle. The haircut was done with much reluctance I may add and to say I wish I hadn’t paid this hairdresser is an understatement! I was a regular at my local salon which is Bexleyheath but not anymore. I would much rather go to a hairdresser who doesn’t question my life choices or appearance because my style doesn’t match hers.

Thanks to Louise - Newport Salon

I didnt have an apppointment on a very busy Saturday afternoon but a lovely lady called Louise said she would fit me in between the appointments she had. I let Loyuse know my husband had recently passed away and that I had been home for 12 weeks but was going back to work on Monday. Apart from a fantastic cut and blow dry Louise gave me the confidence to go back to work. She has excellent customer service skills and I walked out the salon feeling a million dollars. Even though I didnt have an appointment she didnt rush at all and gave me hints and tips as she cut my hair. I would like to say a massive thank you to Louise. She was amazing and Im so pleased with my lovely haircut but Im thankful for the service she gave me. THANK YOU SO MUCH LOUISE xx

Great haircut by Suada in Boscombe Branch


I went to Celly today at Boscombe branch. I had such a great experience with Suada!
She did an amazing job cutting my hair — I’m truly happy with the result. She is very skilled and clearly knows what she’s doing. On top of that, talking with her was such a pleasure. She made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. I really appreciated her professionalism and friendly attitude. I’m so glad I got to know her and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Don’t even try it

Asked for face framing layers got a mullet. Ruined my hair and I’m mortified. Salon finish meets kitchen scissor energy. Never go here if you value your hair or your scalp mine was so vigorously washed my eyebrows were popping up and down like yoyos. The women then trotted off down the road with her beach hat and sunglasses on. Appalling.

Awful service

Awful service ! My daughter and her friends were treated with complete disrespect from the moment they walked in. Their requests were ignored, the consultation was careless, and the stylist clearly lacked basic skill and professionalism.
The haircut was badly done, uneven, and nothing like what was asked for. It looked rushed and amateur, as if no training or attention had been applied at all. When concerns were raised, the staff were dismissive, defensive, and showed no interest in fixing their mistakes.
This salon delivers a disgraceful level of service. Unprofessional, incompetent, and utterly unacceptable, especially when dealing with young clients. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
