Very expensive charges for mounting 2 motorcycle tires at Metaltec:200 Eur!!!

Too much time passed between ordering…

Too much time passed between ordering and final delivery of the tires.
The purchasing advisory service wasn't always up to par with the questions I asked, telling me to follow the configurator.
The delivery person left the tires at the door and left, so I wasn't able to verify and possibly reject the order if there were a problem.
The tires arrived wrapped in plastic packaging sheets, leaving large portions of the tire exposed.
The prices are good, and I'll continue to shop.

We are sorry that the delivery delay, the quality of the advice received, and the delivery conditions did not meet your expectations. Delivery times can sometimes be extended due to transport constraints, and leaving the parcel without a signature, unless specifically authorized, would be considered an anomaly that can be raised with the carrier.

We are sorry to read this. If the motorcycle tire’s DOT is over 36 months, this should normally be indicated on the product page. If it was not mentioned, please open a ticket with our after-sales team through your customer account so your case can be checked and an appropriate solution can be proposed.

For DOTs under 36 months, this information is not displayed, in line with the applicable standards, and a properly stored tire can remain suitable for use for several years.

Delivery is usually 1–3 business days, but delays can happen due to transport incidents, congestion, public holidays or other unforeseen events. You should also have a tracking number to follow the shipment steps on the carrier’s website.

If you haven’t done so yet, please contact our service after-sales via your secure customer area (ticket/form) so our team can check the status with the carrier and assist you as quickly as possible. If you already have a ticket open, please share the ticket number here and we will prioritize your case internally.

It's a disaster with this seller

It's a disaster with this seller, I sent the tires to their partner, DPD stated there was no existing address, and the seller demanded an invoice for the gas of this garage even though they have a contract with him, otherwise I have to pay €40 for the uncollected tires.

When a delivery is scheduled to one of our partner fitting centers, the garage is responsible for keeping its delivery address/details up to date. If the carrier (DPD) reports that the address does not exist, we need to investigate with both the carrier and the partner to understand what happened and what can be done next.

To let our team check your case (including the request you mention and the €40 “uncollected tires” fee), please open a ticket via your protected customer area on centralepneus.lu and share:
- your order number
- the DPD tracking number / delivery scan details
- the name and address of the partner garage

Once we have these elements, our after-sales team will be able to review the file and come back to you with the most appropriate solution.
