I had a Trifocal Toric lens replacement to both eyes. A friend recommended the centre and I also did a lot of research. From the moment you walk through the doors and are greeted by the friendly reception staff, you are treated with respect and kindness. The numerous tests I had to go through gave me confidence in the whole procedure. Mr Daya , the consultant surgeon who operated on my eyes, was friendly, informative and reassuring. The operation itself went smoothly, all the nurses, being kind whilst doing their jobs. After re excellent. If you’re thinking of having it done, do it.

I was recommended by a friend to come here for lens replacement surgery. I had the surgery with Dr Saj Khan who performed multi focal lens surgery on me 6 weeks ago. My sight is now near on perfect and can read all the small print along with being able to see distance. My experience here was fantastic from the staff on reception who were very helpful in organising the date of the surgery much quicker than originally offered. Adora who does the testing was fantastic and gave me great confidence along with the lady who looked after me after my procedure. Apologies I don’t recall your name but you were fantastic too.
Mr Khan is very passionate about his work and instilled confidence with me and talked to me throughout my surgery.
I would highly recommend this centre for any eye procedures. A note on the multi focal lens, I do have halos whilst driving at night but have decided to ignore them and now can drive more confidently in the dark. I have no regrets and I am really happy with the outcome

If I Could give 10 stars to East grinstead I would. Never met such a lovely group of super professional and super friendly people. Right from the start with the welcoming smiles at reception to the operation itself everything was faultless. My surgeon. David Shahnazaryan was just amazing and I’m so very happy with my new sight. Only scary bit driving without glasses for the first time in 50 years

I came to Mr Daya through recommendation and was so glad i did The tests were comprehensive and I was treated warmly by Adora and who explained each one and put me completely at ease.Mr Daya explained the procedure and I was happy to have both eyes done. The day of the procedure there were staff keeping me calm, caring & explaining the whole time. Aftercare was exceptional too. I wish I had done this sooner. Sight is better than it was with lenses and glasses. It’s there 24/7 and has improved my life immensely, able to read anything put before me.Having worn glasses and lenses since childhood, at 63 years of age I have a real confidence in all day to day activities. No more squinting at menus.Everything in life is clear and bright. Thankyou soo much to all at team Centre for Sight for a whole new outlook on day to day life.

We were delighted with the service and treatment offered by Centre for Sight. The Centre offered special treatments which were difficult to access in the Netherlands where we live. My wife needed treatment on her left eye with some urgency. I phoned Centre for Sight and I was connected to Nikki Alexander and her team. She listened to the urgency in our request and arranged treatment in a busy schedule over three days within two days. We travelled to the UK and were seen immediately. Very impressed! The treatment was successful and was carried out by Dr Sheraz Daya. My wife was reassured by his professional and patient-friendly approach. He answered all our questions clearly and openly. The medical as well as the administrative teams are top notch. We can completely recommend Centre for Sight.

I first saw Mr Daya about 20 years ago for laser eye correction. The result was life changing and I have enjoyed many years free from glasses. In recent years I have developed cataracts so returned this week to see Mr Daya for surgery. Both eyes were treated over 3 days and once again the results are truly amazing. When I uncovered my eyes this morning the sight of daffodils in my garden were delightful. I could see every detail of the petals and the colours so bright. They had previously just been a blur. The screen on TV is now clear and bright. I had not appreciated how much my sight had deteriorated. I can once again read without glasses, The staff are friendly and professional. Great experience despite my nerves. They handled it well. My reading vision is now exciting, and distance vision is much improved and still getting better.

All of the staff are so friendly, greeting you with a smile. They are all knowledgeable of their work and always happy to help or reassure you about anything. Any moments where I felt nervous for the surgery were instantly gone with the staff’s reassurance!

Honestly, centre for sight has changed my life there are no two ways about it. I never thought I’d ever be able to have clear vision, now my vision is better than 20/20! 100% recommend!

Following personal recommendation to Center for Sight for cataracts my treatment was superb. I cannot recommend Dr Daya highly enough! I had been struggling with poor vision for almost three decades. Under Dr Daya’s care I went under lasik surgery and I am experiencing incredible results. I have been attending the Centre For Sight since 2009, my eyes have been a challenge due to some prior surgery with a different organisation back in the 90s. Sheraz Daya has been a miracle worker for me, with his expertise he has fitted an artisan lens, has stabilised my eye with lasso sutures and recently applied an IOL whilst removing a cataract. I now enjoy outstanding vision. On every visit the care I received has been outstanding!

My fiancé had laser eye surgery here 10 years ago and still has amazing sight. He referred me and I had my laser eye surgery two weeks ago. The service has been amazing. Adora did all my tests and she’s lovely and puts you at ease. Mr Daya is the GOAT. It was quick, painless, quick recovery and my eye sight is now perfect. Thanks for everything. Mr Saj Khan and his team are wonderful.

I was very nervous of booking my appointment because of all the negativity that my brain was trying to instil in me. But after meeting Mr Khan and his team, all that negativity vanished.

His reassurance was very comforting as he explained how the procedures are carried out.

He removed both cataracts and I diid not feel any discomfort at all. This truly is amazing First Class Customer Service.

On my follow-up visits, it was just like visiting family members. I still cannot believe how much i can now see. Before my cataracts were removed, I had difficulty in reading and watching television even with glasses.

Now i do not need glasses. Wow. Brilliant. I cannot believe how clear the television is and all the other colours I can now see are amazing. I did not realise that my vision problems were being caused by cataracts.

A huge thank you to everyone please, especially Karen Ryan in reception. She and indeed all her colleagues are great Ambassadors for Centre for sight.

I was advised to get multifocal lens replacement , this did not suit the shape of my eyes. I was promised 20/20 vision but my surgery fell significantly short of this.When I sought their after care, I was told to go see an optician. During surgery Mr. Daya, got frustrated and shouted I was looking the wrong way. This was on my master eye which now suffers double vision. I went back to speak to him which cost £400 a time and the usual 4 hour wait.To be told the shadowing in my peripheral vision and the flashes in the corner of both eyes would go away.Not to mention the large floater in each eye. Three years later all is still the same. The optician who referred me to him told me recently they don't anymore. The point really is he should not over promise and under deliver. .

My vision was very poor in the eye that had undergone a corneal transplant 35 years ago. Leading specialists in the UK advised that I would need a full repeat corneal transplant. Mr Daya, however, recommended a different approach and suggested a phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) followed by a wedge resection tuck-in procedure. I trusted his judgment, and he performed the surgery in July 2024.

Sixteen months later, my vision feels perfect, clear, comfortable, and stable, with no distortion or eye strain. The procedure reduced my astigmatism from −5.50 to 0 (impressive!) and has been truly life-changing. I am extremely grateful for Mr Daya’s expertise, and his successful intervention also impressed my local ophthalmologist, reinforcing my decision to proceed with this treatment under his care.

I cannot speak more highly of Mr Sheraz Daya at Centre for Sight. He is an outstanding surgeon and I am delighted with the outcome of my recent lens exchange surgery. I had cataract surgery two years ago elsewhere. The lenses never suited me. I experienced glare, halos and endless migraine headaches. After extensive and thorough testing Mr Daya recommended lense exchange surgery using more suitable lenses for my eyes. I urge anyone contemplating cataract surgery to seek proper advice regarding the type of lenses to be used and Mr Daya is an expert in this field. I am delighted all halos and glare have disappeared and my vision has improved dramatically. My experience from beginning to end has been excellent. I highly recommend Centre For Sight.

The professionalism I experienced right the way through the process was just brilliant. With all the testing prior to surgery, I felt very sure that I was doing the right thing. Saj Khan was not only very proffesional, he was also quite funny, which put you at ease.

I had Laser lens replacement with trifocal lenses for both eyes and the results are just amazing. The thorough testing and information I received pre and post operative was excellent. I highly recommend Mr Sheraz Daya who in my opinion is an “eye god” his lovely wife and highly professional team to anyone seeking this type of surgery.

From my initial consultation on 30th September to my follow up appointment on 28th October having had cataract surgery and multi focal lenses inserted in both eyes I have received exceptional care, kindness and professionalism. The entire procedure has far exceeded my expectations and absolutely everyone in the team have been incredible. I was made to feel special every step of the way which was painless and totally comfortable. I can wholeheartedly recommend Centre For Sight at East Grinstead.
