I placed and order on October 14th. It is October 30th and my order status is still "being processed." No one answers when the customer service number is called, no one responds to emails inquiries, and no further information is provided. I have reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge. I feel like I have been scammed. BUYER BEWARE.

Shoddy practices
Ordered and paid online. Got email confirmation of order. And that’s the last we heard. Tried calling and emailing many times with no reply. Our items were not out of stock. It’s been 7 weeks. Filing a complaint with credit card company for refund. So sad. Such an old and nostalgic business would be so shoddy.

I would give zero stars if it would let me ordered 5 months so nothing company sucks out 200.00 because it was to late to file with the bank. Will never order again. Don’t buy from this company bunch of scammers they are just go out of business at this point and leave people alone
I ordered
I ordered, and they said my card didn't work, so I changed it. Both cards were charged, but there was no product. I called the number, and it went to another number. I sent many e-mails. Nothing. One day, I received a call after sending a heated email with my phone number included. Some foreign-speaking idiot called back a week later and said, Yes, we f.....ed you, what are you going to do about it. He laughed and hung up. Do not do business with this company. I'm out 150 dollars.

So maybe I should’ve read the reviews before ordering. I am in the same situation. I ordered over $100 worth of product. Got a confirmation email and from there a month later still nothing had to contact my credit card and have them cancel. Makes me wonder if anybody works at Charles chips or if it’s just all robots. This used to be a reliable company, but now it’s gone to sh*t with customer service.
Scam
Order never shipped and the customer service is nonexistent. Finally had to file a complaint with my CC company.
Never Fulfills Orders
So, I ordered 2 tins of Charles Chips off the website on June 28, 2025. The website stated the my product would be delivered within 3-4 business days. It didn't arrive. O.K., was close to the July 4th holiday. Understand that, and a few days late is reasonable. Would have liked them for the 4th weekend for family parties. I will give them that. After a week on the 12th Of July I still did not receive my order. I checked the website. My order was paid and my monies taken out. However, the fulfillment status stated it was unfilled.
I waited a few more days with the same response. I filled out the customer form AND to this day never received a response. I waited the 24 hours the form requested. I filled out the form 2 more times. In addition, I called customer service, 855-302 4477, several times. each time I left a message. NO RESPONSE! In addition the "taped message" stated to fill out the customer service form, again no response, even after the message stating customer service would get back to you within one day.
I have since, now over a week ago, written to the CEO,Cosmo Scardino, at the corporate headquarters in Neptune New Jersey. Never received a response from him either.
Basically this is a poorly managed company, even though the product is good, I will never deal with Charles Chips. It is a poor customer service company with obviously a poor CEO who apparently does not care about how the company is run..
I highly suggest not to deal with Charles Chips. I am out $67.98 and no product.

Companies like Charles Chips, deserve to be put out of business, no matter how good the product is. Customer service should always be number 1 for any company!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Placed order on 3/8/25 - they don't send out a order confirmation - merchandise never received one month later. No updates on shipment, phone cuts out when you call the Customer Service number, they don’t return inquiries to their contact us link. You will never receive anything. Avoid the hassle of having to go back to your credit card company to dispute the charge.
I've ordered twice and never received…
I've ordered twice and never received the order, so I cancelled and requested a refund. First, I inquired as to why the order hasn't shipped after two weeks and was told they were out of stock. We're talking about potato chips, not microchips, and last time I checked, we're not in the middle of a potato famine in this country. They're great chips, but not worth the hassle of ordering them.
Almost a month and still no product!
Placed an order on 12/9 for Christmas. There was plenty of time and the company was aggressively advertising on Instagram for Christmas delivery. On 12/18 I sent an email inquiring as to where my order was in the process, as I had not received a shipping notification and wanted them for a gift. In 12/20 I received a response that my order had been shipped. As of today, 12/26/2024 only a label was created and it still hasn’t been shipped. Don’t order from this company. Amazing that they’ve stayed in business all these decades with terrible service like this.
Per their email:
“All orders, as per our shipping policy on our website, take approximately 4 – 5 business days to process and ship on items we have in stock. We are closed on weekends and holidays. During the holiday season however, we are processing orders as fast as we possibly can and may require extra time.”
