I really wasn't sure that it was legit, as it seemed a bit too good to be true and I didn't understand why I hadn't heard of it before.

It was all seamless. We had a video call where I displayed the house and explained what had been left behind by the prior owners, then after signing a couple of forms, these guys took over and did the rest

We ended up with about £1.5K, which was returned to us yesterday.

Anything that looks too good to be true invariably is. Hence my suspicion to be told by Stamp Duty Advisory Services they could reclaim hundreds of pounds from HMRC without any outlay by me. But it was true. And it was very good: I recouped nearly £1400 even after the agency had taken their cut. Highly recomended. But don't hang about. Claims must be made within a year of a house purchase.

I admit I was quite sceptical when I received the first letter and dismissed it but when I received the second, I went onto Trust Pilot and the reviews looked legitimate (and good). I am so glad I decided to go ahead with them. The team were fantastic and worked well with me remotely and we received some money back which really helped us at a time when we were desperate. For once in my life I was very grateful for a cold call! I had no idea that I could be eligible for a stamp duty refund. Very professional company to deal with, minimal efforts on my part, and significant funds in the bank within a couple of months. What's not to like?

Made whole process very easy. A half hour video call to run through the things that should be outside stamp duty, then they did everything. They kept me informed throughout the process, and money was transferred to my account as soon as HMRC confirmed the refund. Would thoroughly recommend.
