Beautiful quality soaps been shopping with CDS couple of years and I’m totally converted. Not bought bottled hand soap or shower gels since.
The soaps produce rich creamy lather and stay in one piece until it’s a tiny sliver. The fragrances are divine a real treat when I open the box and the aroma lifts my senses.
Service is quick and efficient and if I need to query I can contact Andy at a pinch.
Will continue to shop here and highly recommend.

I've bought soap and the loofah dish as part of a birthday present so can't comment on the soap yet. I did find the postage charge, not too short of £5, very high so that's a negative which I would take that into account before buying in future

When choosing a quality soap product, Chateau Du Savon would always be my first choice.

One item not available but not notified until two days after order dispatched email was sent. Got into a huge row when I queried this. Said order was on his desk and I had to have it because he’d printed the labels. Didn’t refund when asked and didn’t send the items that were in stock either - had to go to PayPal to get a refund. Pity because products were really nice and had no issues with a previous order.

Seller had already said item posted. Then it was on his desk and he’s still being charming 😂😂😂

Fantastic customer service, above and beyond - I wanted to change my order and they were so helpful. Beautiful soaps and they smell lovely, very happy with them.

The soaps are beautiful and smell amazing. The package cleared customs quickly and made it to my area but was never delivered. I emailed Andrew and he immediately replied and followed up with the shipper. Two days later the package was delivered and I couldn't be happier.

Chateau du savon has an amazing selection of the highest quality french soap at a reasonable price. I ordered 13 soaps and they all smell delightful and are great for eczema or dermatitis prone skin. Andy, the owner answers quickly to his emails and was very helpful when my package was delivered to the wrong adress. I will repurchase the soap from this store in the future. I would recommend.

Is the second time I am ordering from them and I think is the last, although their products are very good, the customer service is terrible. I received my order a week ago, they sent me the wrong items, I sent them 2 emails days apart to either change the products or give me a refund, ne answear. Shame! I thought they are serious. So depends kn your luck with this company, if you receive the right order you are fine, if gou don't get used with it, is nothing you can do about it.

I have an update to make, after posted the review on Trustpilot I've been contacted by the Customer service and they said that they were not aware about the manufacturer changing the size of the soap and they offered me 50% off my order if I keep the products. As the products are very good, I choose to keep them with the 50% off. To be fair I am a bit afraid to order again, to not happen the same thing next time. But their priducts are great!

I put my order through over 2 weeks ago. I was happy to wait but the items have not arrived, and my order status says fulfilled. I messaged them and they have confirmed that one of the scents was not in stock and "they did email to let me know and they did not get a reply" and so my order is sitting to one side. I checked my emails, and I have not received anything in my inbox or spam. I asked why the order says fulfilled when it has not been posted, they say because a postage label was generated. This is really quite useless to the customer as it is not correct. Their emails had an air of abruptness and laying blame at my feet. I was emailing for help not to complain but after the responses I have received, I would not use them again. I'm sure the soaps will be lovely (if they arrive now). Pleased I found out about their service now before I subscribed to a monthly delivery.

Part of my order is missing. I have tried contacting them by messenger (message was seen), phone and email over several days. They are not replying. I will not use them again.

I ordered a collection of 6 soaps, only to find that the order had been duplicated and the payment taken twice. After emailing I am pleased to say that the problem has now been rectified and am happy to give a glowing review. Thank you very much for your help with this.

Just received my soaps in the post, packaged so beautifully and they smell amazing! I used the promotion so got 10 in total, I can't wait to try them! I love exfoliating soaps and it seems hard to find them but wow what a treat! I am so glad I bought them! I knew they are good as I used the lait de coco before and loved it so I am just so excited to try the other scents! 100% recommended!

Excellent soap and beautifully packaged. I ordered the mystery fruit scented box and they all smell wonderful. Delivery was as promised and glad to be buying from a small independent company.

Absolutely beautiful soaps, wonderful fragrances too. They were sent very quickly, with no courier fee to pay so I think this French company have really organised the paperwork! I've just placed my second order. I really recommend this company!

I am really pleased with these soaps, they all smell divine. Just the right size for the bathroom and kitchen, but gorgeous on the body in the shower. The soaps lather really well. The box was well packaged and inside all the soaps was wrapped in tissue

I've received my latest order today and I must say the fragrances on the 3 new soaps that I purchased (Jasmin, Citron & Lotus Flower) in addition to the Lait D'anaise soaps are absolutely amazing 👏 Thank you so much 🙂

It was my first experience with Chateau du Savon. Delivery was quick and order was packed really nice unfortunately when I unwrapped the soaps I discovered that the order was not complete. Thankfully Customer service was very helpful and friendly and I received all missing products 2 days later. All soap bars smells lovely plus they are really good quality. Order arrived quick and nicely packed. I will definitely order again… because I have my fav scents which must stay with me. Thank you so much :) Highly recommended!
