Amazing quality products not only for skin and body but also housekeeping products. My skin has never felt better and looked cleaner. Stains have never been easier to remove. Highly recommend every product. Delivery service was very quick, came beautifully wrapped.

Fantastic, quick service from Chateau du savon. I bought the stain remover, feeling a little hesitant if it would work, upon first use that hesitancy was quickly dismissed. Would highly recommend.

Amazing products and excellent service. We use the savon du tachon daily and it is the only thing that gets (baby related) stains out of our little ones clothes. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Beautiful products, reasonably priced and prompt delivery. The soap has a high oil content and is superior to other similar soap that I have purchased when abroad.

I have been a buyer of the olive oil flakes for home washing for years. They are so good for any with sensitive skin and easy to use.

We add in some essential oils and they work our more effective and better priced then any leading brand of washing powder or detergent.

We also have the stain removal bar and it is very effective.

Really nice soap in my favourite perfume.It arrived promptly, nicely packed. I shall buy again!

However this time my order was delayed - no reason given.
Messages left on voicemail were never returned. Poor.

Placed my first order with Chateau du Savon, taking advantage of a 'Buy 10' and get a discount, and the package arrived pretty swifty. All good so far. Then, when I unwrapped the soap I discovered there were only nine bars in the package. Straightaway, I sent an email to the company with a photo of the nine bars of soap received and asked where the missing bar was? Having not received a response, I contacted the company via the Contact Us page on their website and after 24 hours, I'd still heard nothing. So, I visited the website again and opened a chat to explain that the missing bar of soap was a small gift for a friend's birthday in a couple of day's time. Still no response.

I'd like to say that while the soap is lovely the customer service is sadly lacking. Please can you advise Chateau du Savon.

I have revised my original 1 star review. I got stung with a large unexpected customs charge and the seller's response felt a little flipant. I would advise anyone outside the UK to be aware of the customs situation. It could have been better communicated at point of sale.

The soap however is very lovely. I've had other wall soaps in the past and this one is far superior . I bought a few bars of Savon de Marseille as gifts and they all smell fab. And people love them.

The hair shampoo is the best I've come across also, doesn't dry out hair.

I've knocked one star off for the customs issue, but the soap is five star tbh.

I sent an order through on 28th September. Unbeknownst to me the order was sent to my previous address, but I only found this out through an extensive and time consuming investigation with the post office. I moved 4 years ago and have received orders from this company since, at my current address. Like some of the other reviewers, I found that Andy was not prepared to accept any responsibility for this. He suggested I hadn't changed my address with my bank 🤨. How come the previous orders arrived? On my order page it clearly showed both my billing address and shipping address to be the same. Why would I request my order to be delivered toy previous address?? There have been emails back and forth until last Friday. Now nothing.
I have been a loyal customer for some time and whilst the products are good, when it comes to customer service, Andy lets the company down. I have not received a replacement. I am very disappointed and will not be usimg this company again.

Ordered an item on 2/10/23 .. understood it was 2nd class delivery .. item not received by 12/10/23 so contacted company, told no idea what post office has done with it ?? But please wait the full 14 days .. did not know second class post took that long ?? It doesn’t!!
On 17/10/23 still no item so contacted again and was told it was sent but would send a replacement .. superb I thought .. but this was not sent out for another 2 days !!! Why ??? Shows no interest in customer service .. asked why this was I was then told my fault I did not read website as it says there would be a delay as away .. but never mentioned in email trail what more can I do I was told !! Show interest in the customer and your service . it’s now 25/10/23 and still no delivery .. 23 days after order .. had my payment all that time ..
Use an independent they say! Support small businesses they say, but with this level of service why would we ..
Very bolshy replies , never accepting fault,
Awful service and if I ever see the product let’s hope that’s better quality than the service ..and it’s taken 10 months to reply to this review

Products and service fantastic did have an issue one time but it was beyond anyone’s control. Continue to buy their beautiful French soaps that lather so luxurious and leave skin soft and smooth. Been a loyal customer nearly a year.

I recieved my products today and loved them! Wonderful ethical products. I brought the lavender hand soaps which smelt divine. The conditioner blocks I haven't used yet so I can't comment on those but the French sosp cube with olive oil was Massive!!! Not sure how I am going to break that down into smaller sizes. I am very pleased with my order. It came earlier than expected and will be buying from them again

Fabulous customer service - courier lost my parcel before Christmas and Andy - The French Soap Guy sorted this out straight away. Highly recommend this company and the soap is wonderful.

Well the package arrived at the specified delivery address after a bit of a hoo haa - which was the fella in charges fault - who caused a bit of a carry on with the billing, and the delivery address`s. Given that its Xmas I think its acceptable that these address`s may be different??
However it was the rather clipped manner of his responses that annoyed me -given he had started the mix up.
Its a nice product ,a professional looking website and the stuff came in time. Why let it down with a Bolshie attitude??
I will probably buy again, - but hopefully,
Mr Redstone will take some of these points on board?

Scent of soaps in Lily of the Valley not genuine at all. Very disappointed.
