I purchased a round-trip ticket for $4,300. After I reached my destination, the country entered a war situation and it was no longer safe to stay.

I contacted the airline’s customer service and spoke with a representative named Julia. She explicitly told me that due to the unsafe conditions I could change my return flight to an earlier date without penalty, and that a special accommodation was being offered for passengers in this situation. She asked me not to call back and said she would send me a link by email to complete the change.

About 30 minutes later, I received the email and used the provided link to change my flight, trusting the information I had been given.

After completing the change, I was shocked to see that my card had been charged an additional $3,000, bringing the total cost to nearly $7,000. When I called the airline to question this, I was told this was not a penalty but a “fare difference.” At no point was any such amount disclosed to me before I completed the change, and it directly contradicted what their agent had told me.

I have the recorded call confirming that I was told there would be no penalty or additional cost due to the emergency conditions. This experience felt like taking advantage of a customer during a crisis. I am now disputing the charge.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this airline.

Your company does not respect the terms of the tickets offered. I will never do business with you again. It's not my fault, and I'm the one paying the price. Furthermore, I saw other tickets for the same flight for $500 with other airlines.

Stay away!!.. Totally dishonest I don't know how they haven't shut this website down yet.. It's a total scam. They promise you incredible rate and tell you you have a reservation but you really don't. You don't have the tickets in your hand and you're not gonna get them. They said they have 24 hours to search for a flight that you need THAT DAY!...If you cancel, they will charge you.. I'm going to the attorney general in North Carolina, and I am going to do everything in my power to shut these people down and prosecute..

Cheap Air, refuses to refund ticket cost for a deceased family member that for apparent reasons cannot travel anymore.. they have made it impossible for us to get reimbursement. the flight is tomorrow and we are yet to hear back, they have ghosted me.. horrible company to deal with. I will go to the press next

I had a terrible experience with this company and feel completely misled. The website showed prices in CAD, but I was charged in USD without any prior notice or warning. This caused unexpected charges that I wasn’t prepared for.

To make matters worse, I paid for baggage fees, but when I checked my ticket, no baggage was added. This was never communicated to me, and I had no way of knowing about the issue until after payment was made.

On top of that, the customer service was absolutely unhelpful. I was given no clear information or guidance, and my questions were not answered adequately. This lack of proper communication and transparency is simply unacceptable, and I will definitely reconsider using this service in the future.

This is a big scam going on. Last week I booked one flight and to book at the discounted price I had only 10 minutes so didn't get a chance to check the review. Booked tickets. Right away I got the email for my tickets were on hold and started getting calls from 1 855 661 8989 -Jasper Travels. I didn't answer the call thinking this was a scam call.
Yesterday I picked up a call from Thomas, completely Indian accents. He said the ticket you booked is nonrefundable and non-transferable as well as you will not get the privilege of online check-in. I said I understood and I was traveling on Tuesday so don't need any changes and I could go early to check in person he said you can't be allowed to take any baggage even though you pay. I said even that's fine with me. Then he came up with a new and non-replaceable statement which is your ticket is on hold and whenever airlines have seats you will get contacted to travel. But which airlines he doesn't know I don't know. I asked him to cancel my ticket and refund but he said it's non-refundable and if I wish to travel on Tuesday I should pay the difference to get the confirmed tickets. What a big s came to make money out of people's pockets. I am looking for ways to report this to the police with many proofs or to the scam department. Please let me know if anyone else had the same experience.

My wife and I tried to book I flight using Cheapflight.ca… we were redirected to ACETravelers.com. We booked the flight and we’re sent an agenda (not tickets). 3 days before the flight, still no tickets. We called ACETravelers and we’re we assured that etickets would be issued the next day.. they weren’t, called WestJet and they had no record of our reservation.. we called back again, and was told tickets to be sent in an hour.. when I confronted them with the no tickets with WestJet…they disconnected. SCAM!!
Update: AFTER we booked another flight and flew… we called ACE again and we were told the trip would be refunded..we were told to wait for 28 days.. no way.. past when the credit card company would address it… SCAM!! SCAM!!! Beware.. go to another site immediately.

I've been waiting for a refund for over 30 days. I went directly to the carrier, they approved it, said they processed it and I will get it from cheapflights. Cheapflighs does not answer the phone or return emails and apparently they dont pay back money they owe. Im very disappointed and unfortunately I cant use them again. I doubt I will get my money back, I will keep trying and will probably have to file a claim/complaint against them with the better business bureau. Very stressful, buyer beware, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I booked a flight to Hawaii through them. My payment went through, and I received my email notification/confirmation as usual. When I arrived at the airport on my departure date, the check in desk couldn’t find my itinerary. The employee at the front asked me who I booked through, and when I told her she wasn’t surprised. They have a tendency to resell tickets they have already booked for more profit. I was livid. I called cheapflights customer service, and spoke to the supervisor. They informed me that someone had called in pretending to be me and canceled my flights... which was completely bull. They proceeded to make me wait on hold for 40 mins, and came back with a “recording”, of the apparent call they received when someone “apparently” posed and me and canceled my flights. 5 seconds into the recording, I could hear the supervisor trying to disguise his voice/accent! They made the recording themselves! When I called him out on it, he laughed and hung up. Absolutely bonkers that these criminals aren’t behind bars for this type of repeated conduct.

Our first time flying together and we booked with Cheapfligts. We were due to return from Vancouver Canada to Sault Ste. Marie on March 31, 2020 HOWEVER we received a call on March 28, 2020 informing us our flight had been cancelled. The message included a return phone number that we continuously tried to reach after leaving messages and not receiving a response. A representative of CHEAPFLIGHTS finally called April 1, 2020...the day we were due home. With no choice, due to the cancellation, we were forced to rent a car and drive back across Canada. A tiring and expensive necessity. UNFORTUNATELY CHEAPFLIGHTS IS UNWILLING TO REFUND THE COST OF THE ONE WAY FLIGHTS. During this time of global crisis, it saddens us to know their company is profiting on the loss of others. God forgive you all.

Promised a full refund for a previous flight change and have received nothing after months of promises that the money would be deposited in my account and that a check would be mailed to me.Now they want me to remove my social media posts and they will send me a check. After so many lies would you take down your posts or continue to tell the public what they are in for if they put there trust in this company.This company can not be trusted with your vacation or business trip. This was a nightmare experience!! I was lead to believe I was waiting for ticket confirmation but it never came. I emailed someone to find out I dont even have a ticket ! It seemed like I booked my ticket but it was actually just a bunch of BS. If you want fake plane tickets then use this sight. It's great I'd recommend to my worst enemy.

I just used this site to verify prices. They say a trip from YUL to MNL for 1 adult and 3 kids is selling for $876.00. When I click on "Book" it totals out at C$6500.... In the breakdown, even the kids' prices were C$1227... Where did they find C$876? Roll the dice and choose random numbers??

Flights there and back were great, no complaints at all great service start to finish

It was terrible. For 2 days tried to book flights to Las Vegas from Spokane, WA, and Flighthub was unable to process it, including by phoning their 800 number. The part that was unsettling most is that one has to type their credit card info in before the flight is confirmed! There needs to be one more step before people are asked to put all their credit card information in.
