I purchased a chess set for my grandson 18 months ago but unfortunately he broke one of the pieces and my grandson was distraught as he thought his set was ruined. I contacted Chess Gammon and spoke with a gentleman to ask if I could purchase a replacement. He asked me to send an email with a picture if the piece. This morning I received a parcel with the exact piece inside and my grandson is so happy. Customer service has been exceptional and would recommend this company to anyone that wanted a quality chess set

The customer service department was excellent. I could only take delivery on a particular day and they did everything they could to make sure that happened. They were quick to communicate and very understanding.

The board was fine but the Dice, 10mm, and the doubling cube ,15 mm, together with the shakers were all ridiculously small. Not at all in keeping with a 24"(600mm) board.

Ordering was simple and straightforward. Delivery was quick, and packaging was excellent. Product looks great.

Super service!!! Shipper messed up the delivery on time so the owner of the shop went with his own car 3 hours to deliver the present on time.

I was looking for a new backgammon board and found chessgammon great selection of boards, very pleased with mine!

The initial shipment arrived in a damaged state. However, the seller promptly arranged replacement product without any fuss, and said he would follow up with the manufacturer to prevent this from happening in the future. I was very pleased with the professionalism.

My first time buying from Chassgammon. Very impressed and delighted with the product and their service.

The quality of the board is rather average for the price. The size of the gap in the chess board when open is surprisingly wide and the squares don't line up well. I wasn't expecting premium but certainly better.
I also chose an engraved message for the board which wasn't done. Since it was a birthday message it's a little deflating. It was a free offer so not the end of the world but the service is obviously lacking.
