Don't buy anything from them. Worst company to deal with. Received a text from the owner, and he guaranteed me to receive the item by Friday, which didn't happen. So if the owner can't keep his word, what do you think of the rest of this company? Lead by example, which is horrible.

After waiting 5 weeks for a knife that my credit card was charged at the time of the order, I canceled my order. I had to email CKW because they would not answer my phone calls. Unless you are very frugal with your money and don't mind waiting over a month to receive your knife, I would definitely not place an order with them. For most people it is not worth waiting a very long time just to save a few dollars. I only wish that I had read all of the negative reviews BEFORE I placed my order! As they say "you live and learn." You have been warned!

Place rhe order on August 11. Still processing..

I purchased a knife from CHICAGO KNIFE WORKS on Aug 1st and was told it would be shipped within 5 days. After 2 weeks and no shipment i.began asking for a cancelation and refund. I email 5 times to get a refund, finally after 3 weeks the said they will refund my money but will take 10 days. This is ridiculous and poor business. I have yet to receive a refund and I continue to email but get no response

It’s a scam, 1.5 months after ordering, they keep telling they will sent it out now . Avoid like the plague . They just hold your money probably to make intrest out of it, all the while you loose other sale and deals for the same item. In the end they either scam you out of your money or leave you high and dry while walking away with your moneys intrest . Chicago fruking works . My ass

I do not recall having such a bad customer experience anywhhere else. I waited over three weeks, got fed occasional emails that they aree buy, blah blah blah, and it will go out on Monnantday.

Communication is terrible and malignant. Today they simply put me on hold and hung up on me.

Absolutrely the worst. Despite competitive pricing, They are perpetuating a fraud, whereas they to bet my money for a month as they turn it on the stock market. It's a piramid scheme.

Do not give amything to the scumbags

From my experience which is 5 or 6 knives they used to be 2-3 weeks from time of purchase to delivery, my latest purchase I am in my 5th week and still says "processing" will NEVER but another, and I would advise to anyone thinking of buying "DON'T DO IT, they are a true nightmare to deal with!

Placed an order for a knife on July 6...their communication is horrible. It is now Aug. 18 and still no knife or refund. I will never order from them again and I recommend Noone else does either.

Company never shipped item and a month later I requested a refund and nothing. Till this day they reached out to me to confirm my credit card and can’t still refund me. They need to be reported ASAP before they scam more people!

If you’re reading this it’s probably because you bought an item on the CKW website thinking it was cheaper than everyone else. I purchased a knife over 2 weeks ago and. I haven’t received so much as a pre-shipping label, email or phone call. Either this company takes your money and waits for the item to randomly come in, or they’re severely understaffed.
Either way they need to make some serious management changes.

All the negative reviews are true. The same things happened to me. It took almost four weeks for my order to move out of "processing" and another few days for a shipping label to be printed, but still no arrival estimate. When I confronted them about the order while it was still being processed, asking for a firm arrival date within 24 hours, they responded with an email telling me the order was fulfilled without a shipping label or arrival estimate. They are dishonest.

Chicago knife works is the worst. They had my order for over a month and then the status is listed as completed. The usps shows that a label was created but they haven't received the shipment. This has been two weeks. I have tried calling, email and texts with no response at all.

Took almost three months to refund my money after telling me over and over my order shipped when they knew it never did. Finally informed me it was sold out and not available anymore. LionSteel T5. Ordered from reputable company and got it quickly.
Kept messaging me 'thanks for your patience and understanding' l will NEVER order anything from them again! Finally got a refund on July 23rd, charged on May 30th.

If I could rate Chicago Knife Works as a negative number they would get a negative 4. I purchased a small pocketknife on June 13, 2026. It FINALLY, FINALLY, arrived at my home yesterday, July 14, 2026. That is just outrageously slow. I called to ask about the knife 2 times and emailed them over 6 times asking the order status of the knife. They could not even tell me if the knife had been shipped out of their warehouse, which is located in Marion, VA. Mobeen, the owner, just plain and simply does not care about his customers. They charge a lot for shipping, most companies give you free shipping. They require an authorized RMA form, which has to be approved by them, or you get no refund. Then they charge you a 15% restocking fee. There are so many things they do that suck! It should not take 26 days to get something shipped from Marion, VA to Salt Lake City, UT. Their customer service stinks. Their return policy stinks. Their disregard for their customers stinks. Their shipping charges stink. The extremely long time you wait to receive ANYTHING from them stinks the worst along with the slow response, or no response, for order status updates from their customer service team. I would NEVER recommend that people buy anything from these fools. They Suck! They stink. Buyer Beware! I hope they go out of business.

Placed a order on June18th. On July 8th i got a notice it had been shipped. On July 10th tracking says post office is still waiting for item. Total scam. Avoid this place.

These people might have a few better prices and you might save 30 dollars on a knife but I ordered a knife June 11 2026 it was July the 7 2026 before it arrived this was after emailing and calling 3 times so I decided to cancel 2 more orders bc tired of waiting so if your in a hurry to get your items stay clear of these people I don’t care it should not take 25 days to receive a order

If there is any one thing Chicago Knife Works specializes in is sitting on their rear ends intentionally not shipping merchandise. It's unusual to have a vendor openly express that they don't care if they loose business or customer purchases due to inability to ship merchandise out. After several purchases from this company I'll pay more for purchases somewhere else that appreciates customer patronage and ships items in a timely manner.

This is the slowest online retailer of knives anywhere online. It takes 4-6 weeks to receive a knife, and unless you constantly email to check on the status of your order, it takes even longer. I have spent over $5k with these guys, and the service gets worse and worse. It's a one-man (Mobeen Ashiq) drop-shipper, and he does not care what anyone thinks of the customer service or how much money you spend with his company. There are numerous videos on YouTube and articles on the web talking about how bad their customer service is and how slow their fulfillment is. He has mislead me on the status of my order, and refuses to cancel orders when that is requested. I will never purchase from them again. Avoid this company.

Worst company ever dealt with! Customer service is horrible in over a month leadtime for product. I’ll pay the extra bucks and go somewhere I can trust. Never buying from them again.

I've purchased probably 20 knives from CKW over recent years. Frequently low priced for some hard to find products. Shipping has always been slow - much slower than most online competitors. It has been getting much worse. My most recent purchase is on day 28 with no resolve. I bumped them awhile back and they generated a shipping notice immediately but didn't ship. That was 18 days ago. If I don't hear back in the next few days will file a dispute with my credit card company. It has gotten so much worse through 2025 and into 2026.
