I have used the 5mm insoles on a night overstay on the Mont Blanc glacier in January and have never felt my feet so at ease! Now I am using them on my expedition to Aconcagua and must say they definitely keep your feet warm, especially while walking you can feel a sort of barrier to cold coming up from the sole.
I used these insoles all winter, changing between the mountain bike (where I used them combined with a very good shoe cover for toasty warm toes) and ski touring! I especially love that there are no batteries/no charging required - making these super adventure proof.
Very practical, replace the current insoles and you have warm toasty feet! Great for standing around in the snow watching the kids
