Professionalism and accountability

Will take your money and then abandon you

Paid for our house insurance policy on the 9th March yet Chill NEVER sent us any confirmation or policy documents. I've spent HOURS on the phone waiting to get through to them. I have rung back a third time, and chose to speak to a person about a new policy, and lo and behold, got through in less than 60 seconds! He promptly stuck me back on the endless 'muzak' phone line to wait for an agent to speak to. They are clearly keen to take your money but after that forget it. ZERO customer service.
The 80 euros we saved was NOT worth the amount of time I've had to waste contacting these dishonest shower of @#!!!!s.

Excellent customer service and value

Daniel helped me renew my car insurance policy today via the web chat facility and he was so helpful! He talked me through all the options available to me and was clearly eager to make sure I got the best and most suitable quote. His customer service was fantastic and he is an asset to the company!

Needed my No Claims Bonus document

Needed my No Claims Bonus document. I spoke with Ishika who sent the document by email within 1 minute of finishing the phonecall! Excellent service.

I have been with Chill for years for my motor insurance cover however I had to move providers this year as the premium was too high to add my daughter (learner driver) to the policy. I regretted this as I have always found the staff at Chill excellent to deal with.

Bit of a waste

Got platinum travel insurance, just don’t bother if you’re going outside of the EU. I didn’t have a working number so I tried to contact over email but just got the same info as the website that didn’t answer my question. Got a phone number and contacted the travel gp but the prescription wasn’t accepted by the pharmacy so I had to book my own gp appointment anyway. Tried to see if I could claim it back and found out I’d need to pay to have the gp fill out a form. Then my trip has gone on longer than planned due to the war so I tried to swap my plan to a single trip and up the max days. I was told it’s not possible and I couldn’t even buy a new different plan because I’m not in Ireland. Feels like I just bought an expensive email
