The worst service I've ever had from a business. Placed my order. Waited 2 hours. Called the helpline to be told they don't have a driver so are cancelling the order and I'd get my money back within 5 days. So, took my money, didn't contact me to say they couldn't deliver and then are taking up to 5 days to give me my money back. Shocking, unprofessional service.

Cancelled order took money
Placed an order, it didnt arrive. Checked emails I had an email saying my order had been cancelled.
Then saw money had been taken from my account, service number now unavailable customer services in store didn't even now what ChopChop was. Told me to contact my bank!! Still no refund!

Finally found another number and got a full refund.

Ordered at 19:36. Some items were out of stock, but unlike other delivery services it didn’t tell you which items. No option to cancel the order.
Waited until 21:05 and still no delivery. Called the helpline to be informed the courier couldn’t fulfill the order so cancelled. I had to call the helpline to find out, no email or update in the app.
OK, I’m going to get a refund but that’s not the point. I’d rather have the items I’d ordered.

Disgusting service, they cancelled after an hour, took the money from my account, only received a refund after getting my bank involved!

Terrible . I ordered 10 days. Said delivered but did not receive order. Rang them straight away said 3-5 days refund. Rang 3 times said it’s processing. 10 days later still no refund. Feel I’ve but conned.

Absolutely shocking service. Cancelled my order an hour after it was meant to arrive. Took £80 off my card and have only refunded £3.50. Customer service were useless. Called twice, and both agents couldn't understand the process of refunding. I am still yet to receive my refund 4 days later. Shocking.

Placed the order for first time, received email they cancelled after an hour, payment not refunded, tel number doesn’t work off the email. eventually found another number, kept being put on hold they said can’t find order, I could barely understand her, eventually they found the order and said I should receive a refund in 5 days!
Horrendous experience!
Delivery driver sent a message saying they were outside when they weren’t (I walked up and down my road checking and have a video doorbell showing no attempt at delivery was made). When I tried to contact them I couldn’t get through. I contacted Chop Chop and at first they said they couldn’t hear me (even though they were answering my basic questions). Then I get a notification that the order has been cancelled by the driver. Contacted Chop Chop again and they said I won’t get a refund for 3-5 days so now not only am I out of food, but I also can’t replace it because they’ve taken the money. They haven’t even confirmed that they will refund! Horrendous experience.

Ordered from Sainsbury’s Chop Chop Dec 27th or so…driver calls me and tells me he isn’t driving an extra 4miles to deliver the shopping as he’s gotten my address wrong.Goes back to shop and days later I am still trying to resolve as to how to get my money back for goods that never got delivered! Awful customer service

Just ordered in Taunton somerset and it was delivered within the hour quite pleased
Complete waste of time
I placed an order for an elderly relative. I kept checking the app and saw it said the items had been processed. After an hour and a quarter it said order cancelled. I phoned to ask why and was told it was because the delivery address was 11 miles away and they only deliver up to 3 miles. The distance from the store is 2.7 miles so they said if I put the order in again they would deliver it. They couldn't just reorder the same items so I had to put everything through again. After 40 minutes it said order delivered but nothing arrived. I phoned and they said it had been delivered to a house with a white front door. The delivery address does not have a white front door and they refused to send me a photo so I could see if I recognised where it had supposedly been delivered. I wish I had read the reviews before using this app as all I succeeded in doing was wasting my time putting in orders that never arrived and making phone calls to try and resolve the issues and still didn't receive any food so had to get a lift to the store. Don't waste your time or money with these crooks.
Sainsbury’s will get a bad reputation via Chop Chop
I am so angry and not for the first time.
I placed an order two and a half hours ago and haven’t received it. Called customer service to be told they haven’t got anyone to deliver it my money will be taken off hold in 3-5 days. This has happened to me prior to this but gave them another chance. Why can they not inform the customer that the order cannot be delivered?
I am now cancelling my account with Sainsbury’s, they have not shown any concern for customers, I am housebound and have to order from them when my family cannot get to me.
Buyer beware - Will not refund on non receipt of goods
Buyer beware. Not genuine Sainsbury’s. customer service. Fail to deliver order within the hour time frame then cancel order when on the phone, and then they think they can keep your money for 3-5 working days instead of refunding.
Left out of pocket with no order and unable to purchase goods from a reputable company
Customer service abysmal. Poor representation of Sainsbury’s by whoever dreamt up this Chop Chop outsourced service.
Scam
Ordered using chop chop for sainsburys. Delivery was marked as delivered but nothing was ever delivered… straight up lies. Called to get a refund, got cut off. Called again… still waiting for the refund.
Very poor
Same experiences as others re crackling phone and driver wearing his helmet. Terrible lack of English so almost impossible to communicate. He couldn’t find the address though only a couple of doors away though I talked him through - English almost non existent. Then 2 items supposedly in stock were missing. Luckily it was a free first delivery. £1 dearer than Tesco otherwise. Did come quickly in about 40 mins. Tesco deliveries come in 30 mins. Not impressed and won’t be using again
Shocking
Shocking, had forgotten how bad it was after having cancelled orders and orders not showing up. In a split moment I decided to order from here again. Main issues - timing has never been within an hour and orders cancelled after showing ‘accepted and out for delivery’ . Cut off from customer service line when trying to enquire about order.
I won't use chop chop again.
I know you pay for the convenience, but as the delivery charge is £4.99, you'd expect your shopping to be delivered to your door. My last delivery the driver text me to say "I've arrived"!!
I text back to say he'd need to come up to the second floor to my flat, as I'm disabled. Then I got THE most garbled phone call ever. I couldn't understand a word he said. I reiterated the instructions on my chop chop account slowly, where my flat was. The crackling on his phone made it impossible to hear him. When I opened my door I found that he was still on his phone, but still wearing his crash helmet!! I said he really needed to take his helmet off when using his phone. He just roughly handed my shopping at me. Was it worth complaining?.....no!
I've waited two weeks and still haven't got the £69 refund 
I placed an order costing £69 on 19 November, received completely the wrong delivery and I'm still waiting for the refund! Despite phoning customer service three times! The second time I phoned they said the request for a refund hadn't even been recorded!
Apart from the money, it's very vexing not getting what you ordered.
