The information presented in the Ebiz video series was very detailed and well laid out. Most importantly it was genuine and honest. If you take and apply the information I have no doubt that you will be successful.

The actual message was very lighetning

The actual message was very lighetning, but could be much better if the message handled more positive other companies and people. Talking bad things is never ok were they true or not.

Taina, thanks for the review; I appreciate your saying that the Video Series is very enlightening.

Regarding positivity or negativity, though, I don't agree. This isn't a hypothetical situation where we're discussing theories or ideas; this is the real business world.

There's no room for 'political correctness' when there are SO MANY VERY REAL thieves and criminals out there who cost people their savings, their retirement funds and even in many cases their homes on a daily basis. Online business scams are a real problem where innocent, hard working people who simply want to build a better life collectively lose BILLIONS of dollars to horrific scams every year.

There's nothing 'nice' about that, so I can't and won't downplay the seriousness of that problem. If I do, too many people won't take these warnings seriously, and people NEED to take them seriously.

I can't help it if some people find an honest, experienced assessment of a very real problem slightly offensive. These huge, wide-ranging scam operations SHOULD be VERY offensive, and they need to be revealed honestly so that people DO take them seriously.

Again, thanks for the review. :o)

Great training videos.

Great training videos. I have been looking for something similar to this on the Internet for a very long time and I want to say that in my opinion this is the most truthful and correct material. This is a must-see for anyone starting an online business.
Thanks to Chris for this great stuff. He opened my eyes to reality and explained the theory of Ecommerce in a very accessible way.

Chris confirmed my suspicions …

Chris confirmed my suspicions about most Internet Marketers taking your money knowing their "systems" are not designed to make you money, only themselves. Thank you Chris. Keep breaking the "Sheeple" out and setting them free!

Price Transparency

Chris is experienced, no doubt about that. However, in his website there is no mention of any pricing at all. It seems that he employed every marketing trick under the sun to hide the prices and lure customers with free courses, free eBooks etc. In some cases, it backfired. I have no intention of jumping through hoops in order to find out how much he charges for his courses. It's ridiculous. The pricing for his paid courses must be mentioned and clear in the first page without the need to ever contact him beforehand.

- He doesn't like criticisms, and becomes very defensive and insulted personally when a Trust-Pilot user criticizes him. It doesn't work like that Chris. You opened yourself to the public and you have over 28 years experience . Phrases like "official complainer" are embarrassing for someone of your status and it gives a bad vibe for potential investors or customers. Just accept that some people will be unhappy or dissatisfied for whatever reason. See how big companies deal with such criticisms.

Both of the above points are based on his website ( which can be accessed) and his comments in this section (which can be seen).

Why am I wasting my time and writing this review?
Well, because I like Chris and I believe I will benefit from his experience personally. I learnt from his free course more than I learnt from the paid courses of so-called eCommerce gurus, But he needs to be transparent regarding the pricing, and very calm when it comes to criticism. Thanks

Hey there, Kale! This is a very interesting review. Since you say you believe you will benefit (and also that you have benefitted) from my 46 years of business experience (mentioned in the videos), 28 of those years in all aspects of ECommerce, your review provides a great "Teaching Moment".

I love teaching moments, so let's begin. :o)

I see two possible reasons that you would have picked a quote from one of only 4 negative reviews I have (and not the 891 very positive reviews) and then put so much effort into writing this long review. (Note...you made a small mistake...it was "professional complainer", not "official complainer", and my response in that particular review was discussed with and recommended by my TrustPilot Rep because he understood that the person was indeed a professional complainer.)

Possibility 1: You truly believe what you're saying and you're honestly frustrated about something, in which case you have every right to your opinion and I respect that.

Possibility 2: You're a 'sock puppet' for one of the many scam operations that I spend so much time revealing and warning people about, and you're trying to discredit me and scare people away from my information. That would WAY not be the first time people like that have tried to do this!

One of the reasons that could be a possibility is because your review was NOT by Invitation. That means you were not asked for a review after signing up for and viewing my video series. Your review was clearly flagged by TrustPilot as ORGANIC, meaning you came in from somewhere on the internet but there's no way to verify that you actually even SAW my video series, so please understand how that looks to me when more than 99.9% of my reviews are by Invitation, not Organic.

Personally, I believe Possibility 1. I AM willing to believe at this point that you're an honest person voicing a real opinion. I also believe that if that's the case it stems from a single frustration, which is one reason that it's a great teaching moment.

It seems like your chief issue is that you're frustrated that I do not talk online about the tuition cost of the Education I teach. You say you have "no intention of jumping through hoops" to find out. Kale, making one simple phone call and talking with me directly doesn't reasonably qualify as "jumping through hoops". It's more like stepping over a bar, AND it's only ONE bar, AND it's only about a millimeter off the floor. All you've ever needed to do is call me. A business owner, or someone who wants to be a business owner, should have no problem making a simple phone call.

You make references to my website. My direct phone line is there. The video series contains my direct phone line. Every email I send out contains my direct phone line.

So why didn't you just call and ask?

I see this happening in other places from time to time. There are a couple of discussion groups out there where people ask the question "How much is Chris Malta's Education?", and other people answer them with inaccurate guesses that are far too high a number. My response to that, again, is...why didn't you just call me and ask?

There are two things to discuss regarding that question in this 'teaching moment', and I appreciate your giving me the chance to talk about them in response to your review.

FIRST, when people DON'T call, it's generally because they don't believe I'll actually answer the phone myself. They're afraid of being trapped in a hard-sell conversation with some telemarketing sales rep. That's an understandable fear, especially for people who are new to business ownership and are getting hammered by such things from all directions.

However, I DO answer my own phone. My toll-free number, 888-824-7476, leads directly to my cell phone. I'm the only one who answers it, ever. When I say I'm going to do something, I do it, and that includes answering my own phone.

Most people who do call are actually very surprised to hear my voice. :o)

SECOND, it's important to talk about WHY I don't just throw out a price all over the place online.

Kale, you seem to think that everything I do is only about 'selling' Education. It isn't. The nearly three decades of free advice and information that I've put out there online over all possible avenues is just that...free information. No strings. It's a PASSION for me to give back to the business that I've done so well in over the years, and helping to show the TRUTH about this business to new people coming in is part of how I do that.

You say I have "employed every marketing trick under the sun to hide the prices and lure customers with free courses, free eBooks etc."

What I actually DO is say "here's a tremendous amount of free information to help steer you clear of many common mistakes, and IF you'd like me to teach you much more, just call me; here's my direct phone line. NO PRESSURE."

I don't think it's in any way reasonable to characterize that as employing "every marketing trick under the sun to hide the prices and lure customers".

I said I'd talk about WHY I don't plaster tuition cost all over the internet, so let's do that. Kale, when people are reading and watching free information online, they tend to SKIM through that information looking for only what they feel they need at that moment in time. That's just human; of course people do it. However, that means that most people MISS a great deal of DETAIL.

In the video series, I go into painstaking detail as to how my Education actually works, step by step. Yet, when people contact me, they've almost ALWAYS missed a good part of that detail and have critical misconceptions about what I do. Some people think it's just another series of videos. It isn't; it's an 18 Course, 120 Section college degree level personally Mentored Education.

Others think it's just a web site that they get a login for and they're on their own from there. As I said above, that's the furthest thing from the truth.

Still others think they're going to end up in those ridiculous 'weekly phone call' situations where they get left behind in 'meetings' that move too fast, and end up having to ask questions in 'forums' that those scam artists set up and stuff with their own employees who claim to be money-making students, when they're not; they're just shills who lie to people knowingly.

What I do is NOTHING like that. Again, it's actual one on one personal teaching and Mentoring.

More than 90% of the people I talk to have at least ONE of those misconceptions, and most have SEVERAL.

So if I talk about tuition pricing the way YOU want me to ("The pricing for his paid courses must be mentioned and clear in the first page without the need to ever contact him beforehand."), I'm talking about tuition cost before most people even KNOW ANYTHING about what I really do, and when many OTHERS don't yet fully UNDERSTAND what it is.

I'm sure you can see that doing something like that would not be beneficial to people who want to know that answer.

Additionally, there are some people who have unreasonable expectations and are trying to get into this business at a time when it isn't right for them. For example, many people are insistent that they should be able to make money online quickly and easily. That simply isn't true; they've been socially programmed by all the junk marketers online to believe that. A real business takes time, learning and some money to build.

Still others tell me that they just lost their jobs and need to make money quickly. That's the wrong time to try to start a business. Again, a real business takes time to build, and if they have no time, I can't help them and I will tell them so on that phone call. The scams won't do that; they'll take every cent you have even knowing that they're lying to you and that you will never be successful.

The point of all of this is that BEFORE I talk about Registration and Tuition with someone, I need to know that they FULLY understand exactly what they're getting involved with and that it's RIGHT for them at the time. Your review characterizes this as 'hiding something'. In truth, IT'S THE MOST HONEST, TRANSPARENT WAY I COULD POSSIBLY DO THIS.

So I hope that clears up your questions about why I don't just throw out a price to people who, for the most part, don't yet have ANY clear understanding of what they'd be paying for.

NOW...let's talk about why I mentioned Possibility 2: that your review could be a sock puppet review commissioned by the bad guys that I expose all over the internet.

For those who don't know the term, one definition of 'sock puppet' is a person you can pay to strategically damage a competitor's reputation online through falsely negative reviews, social media, etc. when that competitor is a good company and there's no other way to do it. There are other types of sock puppets as well; people who use alternate identities online to bump UP their OWN reputations is one example.

Yes, that's a thing. You can look it up online.

LET ME REPEAT, Kale, I do NOT believe you're acting as a sock puppet. I believe that the core of your reason behind this review is that you were VERY getting frustrated looking for tuition information and you were worried that if you simply called me you'd end up talking to some hardcore salesperson. I do understand that reasoning and have no ill will toward you whatsoever.

However, you (I believe unknowingly) WROTE your review EXACTLY as a sock puppet would have when trying to falsely damage someone's reputation. I said that this was a teaching moment, and I'm going to take advantage of that to explain to everyone what a sock puppet review looks like so that you'll recognize them in the future.

A sock puppet review designed to damage an honest company's reputation consists of about 10 to 20% PRAISE, and 80 to 90% BACK-HANDED DEFAMATION. The praise is there to make it LOOK like it's an honest review, when it's actually a made-up hit piece.

So a review like that will say things like:

"Chris is experienced, no doubt about that."...BUT...

- He uses underhanded marketing techniques
- He makes you jump through hoops
- "It's ridiculous"

He has experience and status BUT...

- He doesn't like criticism
- He's defensive
- He's embarrassing himself
- He gives off bad vibes

"I like Chris and I believe I will benefit from his experience personally. I learnt from his free course more than I learnt from the paid courses of so-called eCommerce gurus."...BUT...

- I'm wasting my time writing this review

THEN a sock puppet review will INSTRUCT the target of the defamation as to how to behave properly, in order to draw a review-specific perceptual contrast between 'good behavior' and 'bad behavior' and try to make the case that the target is 'behaving badly':

- "The pricing for his paid courses must be mentioned and clear in the first page without the need to ever contact him beforehand."

- "Just accept that some people will be unhappy or dissatisfied for whatever reason. See how big companies deal with such criticisms."

- "It doesn't work like that Chris."

- "But he needs to be transparent regarding the pricing, and very calm when it comes to criticism."

AND THAT is how an intentional sock puppet defamation review works.

Kale, I'm going to say this again. I don't believe you did that on purpose. I do believe that you were frustrated and at the time you meant what you said. Maybe you still do after you (hopefully) read this response. I understand what you're saying.

The only "however" I'd toss back to you is that it would have been nice if you had not characterized my entire existence based on a single two word quote from the .004% of negative reviews I have on TrustPilot instead of all the amazing things people have been kind enough to say in the 99.996% excellent reviews I have on TrustPilot. You and I both know that was on purpose, and it was disingenuous.

As to that specific review, which I still maintain was from a 'professional complainer', it's important for people to understand that I am not some big multinational company that issues plain-vanilla responses to negative reviews because they simply don't care; they're big multinational companies and they know that a rare negative review isn't important to them.

I tell the truth in a business that's packed full to the walls with abject liars. I'm honest about everything, and that includes how I feel about things. I've never in all my life been one to meekly sit back and take an unfair hit. I'll tell people exactly what I think about something, and if someone doesn't like it, so be it.

So that ends the 'teaching moment', and I appreciate the opportunity you gave me to present it.

Call me, Kale. Ask any questions you like. 888-824-7476. I always answer my own phone.
