I can't believe that I trusted their service. Now it's just hassle and never respond email cycle. Should view trust pilot before finalized but now it's all on me.
Not recommended.

I booked my trip with chubb in December. Due to unforeseen events we had to cancel our trip. Our claim was for travel expenses and it was handled very professionally and we received our travel expenses reimbursement within 2 weeks. I don't understand why some people are writing negative reviews, we had no problem communicating with them, they responded to emails the same day. We gladly recommend.

This is just a huge scam! Lies to customers especially paying for Revolut cards, pay this at your own risks! They don’t respond to emails, phone calls you hold, and eventually don’t compensate, my flight cancellation due to technical or operational problems does not apply for any compensation!! My question is what reasons do they accepted for their claims!
Because we pay insurance for the cover of inconveniences caused by cancellation or delayed flights??
This insurance should never be in market!!!
Financial ombudsman should investigate this!!

I've got an insurance claim with them for over 4 months now? They don't reply to emails, they don't give me any information.

The last thing they said.

Claim is "under final review".

For how long?

Horrible experience, not recommended at all.

Avoid like the plague.

They have been helpful, communicative and responsive to any questions and concerns I have had. I am overall very happy with their service so far and would recommend them.

A scam, don't use these people, they just keep making up paperwork to make everything a hassle, probably in the hopes that eventually they come up with something you don't have.
I claimed travel insurance as my grandma passed away, and they now want to talk to her doctor to confirm she had no pre-existing conditions...EVERYONE OF 80+ HAS PREEXISTING CONDITIONS, and I'm not claiming health insurance here, I provided a death certificate. Do they think I booked holiday knowing my grandma was about to die so I could claim the money for a hotel I never got to and two flights?

cebu pacific have chubb insurrance when buying insurrance through theire plane ticket!!.Cebu Pacific luggage crew made a huge hole on my luggage and broke the handel.Been ask to use my insurrance and i did....got only 1000peso..cheap greedy insurrance Company never again i Will use that insurrance again!!destroy my luggage and now i need to buy new luggage again!!!

Took their travel insurance out when flying with Wizzair. Reported a claim for a flight delay over two months and nothing heard since. They are really good at taking your money only .

I would rate them less than a one star …Horrible! they will not issue a claim even in extreme circumstances, this is a scam do not use it, use other insurance with ticket purchases, after sending tons of documentation they will always deny it! Not helpful, do not plan on getting a refund and I will pass on this information as much as I can, trust the 90 percent bad reviews

Expensive premium but the coverage is not that comprehensive.

Lost a simple Item, my Prescription Glasses.. here I am 5 months later & my claim is still being assessed. They do not reply to email’s & customer service just reads what’s on screen without escalating my claim, just reiterate what I already know. Useless. Do not use.

Messed around for months, palmed off to Sedgewick .. had to chase umpteen times

I had a canceled flight, and the airline did not refunded the money. The claim went on for a lomg time without any success. They are useless and they won’t pay anything covered in the policy.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND CHUBB TRAVEL INSURANCE.

If i could give zero stars, that would be more than warranted. Appalling customer service. This was a "free" travel insurance, as we had purchased home and car insurance through another company. Do not touch with a barge pole, buy somewhere else. Supposed to be there for the customer,in your dreams.

Completely useless insurance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They could not replace phone even though I've paid £8/month for over a year. Complaint ongoing for over a month and they've still charged me for insurance. Criminal.

I almost feel as though this is a scam company. It took them 7 weeks and 5 phone calls to even find my claim form. Since then they've continuously delayed everything possible, taking days to reply to simple emails, searching with microscopic diligence to try a find any way possible to reject my claim. Asking for all types of obscure supporting evidential documentation that simply doesn't exist, and never has.
I so wish I had looked at the reviews on this site before choosing them for my travel insurance. I took the bait from my bank (Santander) who broker for them amongst their banking customers.
My advice would be to AVOID at all costs as they are utterly useless in every way possible.

Completely worthless insurance, don't waste your money, get insurance from another company! I got sick and had to go to emergency room on the day I was supposed to fly out for a cruise and when I call them they tell me they don't cover the cost of rejoining the cruise unless I cancel my trip or I went on the trip and got sick and needed emergency care on the cruise. How idiotic is it to ask someone to go on a cruise while sick? Don't waste your time, completely useless insurance.

After booking my holiday with blue sea holidays, and after all the issues of flight cancelled and me not being able to get to my destination.

Chubb insurance is the worst company ever, my claim was declined as the holiday was not cancelled due to adverse weather or me not turning up to airport on time.

Oh yeah, got all this in black and white.

I was at the airport in plenty of time and flight cancelled 45 mins before, my flight was transferred to the sat evening to come back on tuesday morning. Which I had to come back as I had commitments I had to stick too.

So yeah stay clear of these, they are not bothered about you or the situation.

They are just thieves, who steal people's money.

Absolutely HATE this insurance company. Used them as I pay for Revolut Metal and this insurance provider comes with them. Explained my situation and takes 1/2 week just for a email response! They give you 0 options on how they can help. Lost out on thousands and thousands of pounds! Overall avoid avoid avoid this company.
