This is a warning about Circles Life's complete failure as a telco.

For months, I paid for a mobile service where I couldn't even receive basic phone calls. Dead set - couldn't even answer incoming calls on their network.

I spent countless hours logging support tickets and trying to get this fixed. Every time, their support team would try to palm me off, pushing to close tickets without solving anything. Check my account history - it's all there in black and white.

I've since cancelled and moved my number to another provider. But these clowns are still sending me bills for a service they never properly delivered. Multiple attempts to cancel have been ignored. It's beyond a joke.

The sheer incompetence of their billing and customer service is staggering. They couldn't deliver the most basic mobile service, ignored all attempts to fix it, and now can't even process a simple cancellation.
Stay well clear of Circles Life. They're an absolute joke of a telco that doesn't deserve to operate in Australia."

Worst service EVER!!!!

Worst service EVER!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID. I trialed it for a month and requested termination of my eSIM prior to the month being over. However it took them 2 weeks to process it and charged me an additional one month. I tried contesting the additional month but it was very hard to reach customer service. And I kept point it out and showed screenshots of me contacting customer service many times but was told that they couldn’t refund me the additional month. It’s a scam!! AVOID!!

I had literally dirt-floor expectations for this company, and they still somehow managed to be worse than that. Honestly they don't deserve to call themselves a legitimate company, they are more like a thinly veiled scam shop. Please avoid like the plague.

Rude Service and Unethical Practices..Beware!

I had a terrible experience with this company’s customer service. The representatives were rude and unhelpful, and they abruptly ended the chat when I asked questions they clearly didn’t want to answer. Even worse, they perform hard credit checks without providing clear notice or obtaining proper consent. Instead, they bury this information deep in their lengthy privacy policy, which is not transparent and arguably violates the Privacy Act and the guidelines set by the OAIC.

This lack of transparency and disregard for customer rights is unacceptable. I plan to escalate this matter to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) to hold them accountable.

BEWARE - Disgusting excess usage charges

Over Christmas my daughter went over her plan data when transferring to a new phone. The excess usage charge was $433 for 20Gb !!!!! Customer service dont care and even lied that they cant change the bill once it's issued. DISGUSTING. Where is your safety net to stop people running up such a massive bill. You have a corporate responsibility to stop this happening. I will be cancelling my accounts.

Charged after account canceled

Requested my account be canceled in December which I was told had been done (and also sent an email confirming).

Got pinged in early January that my account was still being charged. Spoke to multiple people via email, chat and phone (multiple who would not reply) and someone finally canceled my account but told me I had to talk to someone else about billing. However, the accounts team only work via chat and since my account has been cancelled I couldn’t chat to them. Am in the process of reaching via multiple avenues to request a refund. Worst company I’ve dealt with and that includes the infanous telcos in Australia.

Expensive extra data once you use the basic data that are included. There is no option to disable the additional data usage. So your $6 plan can quickly balloon within 30 min to a $45 charge.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

There is no customer service. I've been trying to sign up and used the Chat to talk with a representative. Over THREE HOURS on a chat with very long breaks between responses - and still no resolution. Now I'm receiving emails from them and when I reply they are not responding.

Horrific service

Horrific service. Good luck if anything goes wrong. You will spend hours in a chat window with someone telling you they will just be 3-5 minutes whilst you slowly age on the other side.

This crowd are absolute rorters and rogues! My niece lost her husband recently and they keep debiting her bank account despite numerous requests. These people are downright evil and it's incredible how the Government allows them to continue to trade.

Just terrible

Signed up to a plan but they put me on a more expensive plan instead. Found out when I got my first bill. Can't call them, only email. Sent an email about it and they told me, two days later, I wasn't reading the bill correctly, which I was. Emailed them again and haven't heard back for four days. Terrible. Do not use this company.

Wish I had read reviews first. Customer service is non-existent. Lodged a request for service Activation 2 weeks ago and still waiting for a reply. Meantime no service. Appalling.

Do not recommend!

Absolutely pathetic level of communication. I cannot get through to anyone and the activation process is impossible as it doesn’t accept my details. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this company. It also took a week for the sim to arrive during which I received 101 messages and emails that I would receive it each day.

Terrible service

Customer service is really as bad as everyone here says it is. I'm trying to activate my sim and it's not accepting my name as it appears on my passport, when I speak to the AI chatbot it provides unrelated, totally useless solutions. I then select speak to an expert but am never connected. When I try and call I can't get past an automated voice message. Neither of these services are remotely fit for purpose.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

When I went overseas 30 Oct- 15 Nov. 2024, I availed of their roaming add-on for $30/month. My regular bill is only $30/month plus the roaming add-on should be only $60. My bill arrived 5 Dec. 2024 and I was charged for $880! They billed me for the pay-as-you-go roaming charges in addition to the roaming add-on and the regular plan price. When I first received their e-mail about the on-going pay-as you-go data usage, I complained to their customer service who told me that I should not worry about it and that they were just computer-generated charges, wait for the bill, and they will dispute it so I will not be charged with pay-as-you-go since I already activated the roaming add-on. When the bill arrived 5 Dec. 2024, I sent them a copy of the bill to dispute the charges with their billing department but this time their customer service is saying that they are valid charges?

Good luck, fingers crossed

I found a great Halloween deal with circles.life.
Ported my number over, inserted my new SIM card and am “Not registered on network.”
I have spent last 4 days after receiving new sim card via online chat and a Senior Customer Happinness Expert named Karl to get me connected to their service.
Went through troubleshooting, I have an unlocked Samsung S22, got new simcard from local agent store, provided IDs….sounding very similar to other experiences on here.
This morning from Karl was “May I have your current location so I can check the status in your area as well?”
After reading the reviews I have come to the conclusion they do not want to honour the advertised plan.
The really annoying thing is they have total control of my mobile number so I cannot port to another telco.😡
And I think they know that🤬🤬🤬
