I own a flat in NAW which was built by Persimmons ( needs cladding remediation ) which is being led by Cladding Consulting. Steven Truman and Margaux Randall are the main contacts. I attended the first meeting with Cladding Consulting on 3rd June. This was to update us with the ongoing work - which is extensive. Margaux and Steven both cam across as open and transparent on the positives and negatives and were very receptive to resident and owners feedback. Dealing with cladding replacement is a full on life nightmare often compounded by Builders and contractors who obfuscate and are economical with the information - My experience with Steven and Margaux was that they understood our problem , they didn't have all the solutions but they were receptive to listening and taking us seriously and kept the door open for us to come back. The work in NAW will take time and it will have problems, but having someone who will listen and try and find solutions makes this difficult journey better.

Steven and Margaux at Cladding Consulting have been both supportive and proactive in managing ongoing remediation works at our development. Leaseholders and residents are regularly informed of progress, with email enquiries promptly dealt with. Great service under what can, on occasions I’m sure, be challenging circumstances.

The remediation of the fire safety defects in our building is an immense and complex project, which involves the removal of all the external brickwork. Cladding Consulting has been outstanding at handling this project, including dealing with our funding requirements from an initial application for Government funding to now working with the developer on our behalf. Cladding Consulting has also provided us with an excellent team of professionals to complete the project.

We receive regular updates and have online meetings about the project. Members of the professional team frequently take part in these meetings and all questions are answered.

Steven Truman and the team are experts in this field and are always helpful, supportive and professional. I am so thankful that we have them on board and so I highly recommend Cladding Consulting to anyone who has building safety defects that need addressing.

Steven Truman and his team have been absolutely fantastic from the beginning. We as an RMC, appreciated the charging structure whereby Cladding Consulting took payment directly from the initial tranche of CSS funding unlike some competitors, thus greatly reducing the upfront cost associated with the works. Mr Steven Truman has been very generous with his time providing me with information about a high rise building without any cost. I have been very impressed with the company who have ensured all leaseholders are kept informed regularly and given an opportunity to ask questions. The company has shown a willingness to listen to and act upon concerns raised by leaseholders. Now remediation work is underway the contractors appear to be well managed and are considerate of the needs of residents.

Prompt, efficient, responsive, and straightforward service in respect of a very complex multi-million pound rectification of serious cladding issues disclosed in a post-Grenfell inspection of a premium apartment block built in 2000/2002.

If SME News thinks CCL is the best company deserving an award (never mind the BEST award!), I worry about the rest of the country where similar services are provided by SMEs.
CCL have repeatedly misinformed leaseholders, not apologised to leaseholders for their bad actions despite instruction from the developer, and made repeated mistakes which leaseholders have had to correct.
I am a leaseholder where CCL is appointed to "manage" the remediation - but to date we are not clear what exactly they can be held responsible for, especially given the numerous issues caused to the detriment of leaseholders, for which we have no recourse.

Cladding Consulting have proved to be a very proficient and professional company having this summer successfully applied for government funding on behalf of an apartment building for which we are managing agents. From our point of view, the process has been seamless and stress free. Also, Cladding Consulting have proved to be excellent communicators in keeping apartment owners up to date on a regular basis as to the status of the funding process, being stage one, and the cladding replacement project in general which can now move to the onsite planning and tender stage.
