My experience of joining PWJ

As for myself, my background was like having degree in Software Engineering. But not knowing how to get a job efficiently or in which skill I was strong. Once, I was going through the Youtube, I found their video as a suggestion where they explained, that how they can guide us to improve and understands our strengths for a specific areas of coding.

After which I decided to join the PWJ, where I can say we had coaching calls on different topics which allowed us to learn new things and get our doubts answered. Even the amazing team handles the common issues very seriously as per the students request.

The community is like having 24/7 support by different developers. Really, within 3 months of joining the PWJ, I got my first contract to work with a package of 70k. Then once, it got ended, I ended up getting into the role of Full Stack Developer.

Honestly, according to my perspective, I can say if you want a career change you can really join the PWJ to bring a change in your life as a Developer.

Never too late to learn JavaScript

In my 14 years working in Television, I noticed less media technicians and more software developer positions because production is being automated. I came across the youtube Disney+ app clone and was fired up to learn from the Clever Programmer professors. I just completed my first month and my experience learning from professors Naz, Jessy & Ahmad, student aide Lance and the classmates has been nothing less than outstanding. CP goes to the max to make sure all students are learning, including offering one on one coaching with professors and a student aide. It is not easy, we are challenged with real industry programming exercises and homework and because coding javascript is new to me I struggle. However, I look forward to attending our live zoom class and one on one coaching because the professors & student aide review the homework, show us how to problem solve, write pseudocode and then discuss the solution to the coding assignment. All professors are so damn cool and make the classes fun and engaging. The entire Clever Programmer staff and classmates are kind and very supportive and I am excited to keep learning.

I made the bold choice to join the Clever Programmer's Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp

So, I recently made the bold choice to join the Clever Programmer's Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp. I was in a 3 month bootcamp back in 2019 and after completing it, I felt like I wasn't prepared, felt very upset with myself and like I wasted time and money. A few months ago I got introduce to PWJ Profit with Javascript after watching a live video to do the 5 day challenge, building a Google Map with Naz; and seeing those videos and coding along with Naz jumpstarted my eagerness to be a developer. Then one day, Cleaver Programmer was having a live webinar with Naz and Qazi about how to become a full stack Developer, and I attended just to see what was being talked about and at the end of it, they offered an opportunity to join the Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp. Other former cohorts from previous bootcamps were also sharing their stories and how they felt like it was a no brainer to join. I was nervous at first because I had already joined a bootcamp, but I said I would hear more information. Later that day I got a call from Naz asking if I really wanted to see a change in my life. He wasn't begging or promoting, he was confident that if I made the choice to join, I would see result, and I did.
About a few week later, I received a call from Jessy, and she had very good advice about not comparing my past experience with this experience because they would be totally different experiences. She also gave advice about coming into the bootcamp with a growth mindset; allowing myself to focus on what I'm learning and growing in, and not on the negatives.
So, now it’s been about 2 months since I joined the Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp and the Instructors Naz, Daniel, Jessy, and Lem have been very hands on. One of the things I like about this bootcamp then my previous one is the amount of Coaches and Instructors who are willing to be involved and hands on. I thought doing an online bootcamp would be overwhelming (and it is sometimes) but the coaches are constantly offering their time to help me and my cohorts any way they can. If they have to do one-on-ones, break out rooms, Friday study hall time; they have been very intentional about seeing us grow. The coaches also challenge use by encouraging us to explain our code, function, or thought process step by step so that you know you’re improving by working those developer muscles, becoming critical thinkers, and problem solving. Even if when we make mistakes, they are there to point out the error in out logic; which helps improve our foundation and showcasing how much they care about our growth. And because the coaches are high energy individuals, and are so invested in seeing us grow, thier positive energy is contagious and you can’t help but gravitated to those positive vibe. Now, the cohorts are motivating each other, willing to have study halls with each other after classes, supporting and encourage each other because we all want to see each other succeed. The experience has definitely been enlightening and I feel like I definitely made the right choice in joining the Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp.

Aquire the skills and confidence to become a Clever Programmer

Being new to programming I feel comfortable with the format being used by the instructors to introduce to first timers how to approach learning how to program. I especially like the idea of "Breakout Rooms" this is where students are paired to discuss and share their understanding or lack of understanding with each other of how to approach solving a problem.

I am a developer

I am a developer. I finished a Bootcamp early last year. Just from attending a few live webinars with clever Clever Programmer, I learned so much that I didn't fully get even through the Bootcamp I attended. The clones really helped me grasp concepts in React and I landed a job shortly after! Loving the community and energy!!!

Very Satisfied Student Of Profit With Python

I'm a student of Profit With Python (PWP), and I'm very satisfied with the course and my purchase. Overall, I'm a big fan of the Clever Programmer crew. The videos, tutorials, and challenges they post/conduct are high-caliber. And the instructors -- Qazi, Naz, Daniel, Jessy, and all of the others -- are very knowledgeable and personable.

The PWP course is your typical video, self-taught instruction, but they do a great job of adding a personal touch. The coaching calls have been very helpful, and the weekly live sessions are very valuable. They're extremely inclusive regardless of your level. Plus, CP overall encourages students to help each other along; in other words, they place a great importance on building a community with the students.

Also, the learning is very practical and hands-on through building projects. It's very easy to see how all of the pieces of the coding fit together into a larger whole.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase and may possibly buy more courses in the future.

Clever Programmer Full stack Mastery Experience

I joined the boot camp 6 weeks ago and what i have learnt over the 6 weeks is way more than what i grasped in my first 2 years of college.

The teaching methodology is so unique. Everything is broken down to the minutest detail and every topic is explained from the perspective of a real world scenario.

It is 95% practical and 5% theoretical. In-fact some of the exercises I was able to tackle was what i came across during an interview for a software support job last year. I am so excited on what lays ahead over the the next 5 months throughout the duration of the boot-camp.

I 110% recommend the clever programmer full stack mastery boot-camp.

Great course!

The pre-recorded videos are good, but the live sessions are what makes this course better than the rest. Multiple times a week there are live sessions with the teachers where the students can learn coding concepts, but also ask questions! Also, if you miss one, all the previous live sessions are recorded and available for you to catch up.

Pumped up and excitement everyday

I first joined the 5 day Javascript challenge with Naz, Jessy, Daniel, and their energy had me pumped and excited. Naz enthusiasm brushed off on me and when I sent in a question on Facebook, Qazi called me within seconds and answered me right away. They do not treat you like a number but a real person. I am completely new to programming and struggle and Jessy is very helpful and supportive and also has a lot of energy. In just a few days I've learned more from Clever programmer than I've learned the past 3 years in college. I am part of the FullStack Mastery class and the profit with Javascript. They are willing to break down and explain things to you when you don't understand. I definitely say so far I have had a wonderful and positive experience and ready to learn more. I highly recommend talking to them and joining their challenges and you will see what I mean by their energy.

My most honest opinion on Clever Programmer

A letter to my future cohort-mates -

If you relate to any of these questions, then reading this review will be an investment in your growth and journey of becoming a FullStack Master :

1. Am I determined to make a life-altering change for the betterment of my future?
2. Have I lost my job/career due to COVID?
3. Do I currently dislike my job?
4. Do I want to finally take my interest in programming seriously?
5. Do I want to provide a better life for my family?
6. Will I be good enough?
7. Am I ready willing and able to do the work to learn and understand what it takes to make a real change in my life?
8. What if I can’t do it?
9. Will I succeed?
10. Will I be able to study and have a full-time/part-time job?
11. Am I a kind human?
12. Do I celebrate the successes and growth of those around me?
13. Will I commit to a growth-mindset and accept that failing forward, fast, and efficiently is the actual real journey and truth to success?
14. Can I afford this?

If you found yourself asking one, two, three or all of these questions then let me break down the solution for you like I would a coding challenge:

Qazi, Naz, Jessy, Daniel, Lem, and the rest of the incredibly passionate, kind, matter of fact, no messing around, REAL and HONEST CP team IS your most optimal SOLUTION to this problem.

I was curious, I was hesitant, I was nervous, I was all the things you’re feeling or have felt at one point or another. And that all went away as soon as I had the privilege to speak with Qazi himself, and then Jessy herself. We were only scheduled a 30-45min zoom call and both went over in time 3 fold. They took a genuine interest in discussing EVERYTHING with me. If you’re reluctant or have reservations because of fear, indecisiveness, believe me when I tell you that Qazi, (CEO) is paving a new path to what it means in CARING about and INVESTING in the success and RESULTS of others. It extends through his team with Jessy, Naz, Daniel, and Lem…

You may ask yourself, if they’re such great engineers then why not work for the giants? What if I told you that they’ve already done it and learned in the process that they want more for their industry by serving others and giving back to the community by teaching and growing those with the knowledge they WISHED they had when they got started? THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR SUCCESS. IF YOU SUCCEED, THEY SUCCEED. THAT is the REAL and SIMPLE TRUTH.

Can I afford this? NO. But can I afford NOT to take the leap and consider it a risk WORTH taking? HELL NO. I barley have a dime to my name and have lost my job due to COVID and in this difficult time I have self-reflected and took action in the midst of the chaos to be proactive in changing my life for the better. I am enrolled and invested and I look forward to learning from not only an ELITE TEAM but a TEAM THAT GENUINELY CARES and will be there every step of the way! I want YOU to be in my cohort so PLEASE COME AND JOIN ME and let’s smash this life-changing decision together! LET’S GOOOOOOO!!!!

xo,
your future cohort-mate!

REACT programming Resume

Ok! So first of all, I am a bootcamp student, not going to say which one, I don’t want them seeing this. But I just took a python/django full stack, and there were something’s WE DID NOT LEARN. Like making a user upload a photo, building a professional blog website, AND THE BOOTCAMP IS $14000. Now with that being said, I have seen Qazis content, and the REACT content is mind blowing!!!! Like, I almost dropped out my bootcamp to focus on Qazis projects. Long story short, if you want to be straight forward and get things done soon, Qazis REACT and mern projects are the way to go. Better than my bootcamp too. I am a navy veteran by the way, I recommend this to other veterans. Peace ✌️!!

Honest Opinion on PWJ!

I am going to be very transparent in my review on PWJ! I love the Profit with JavaScript program! My experience with PWJ has been great. The success coaches are very easy to contact, and it's also easy to contact the higher ups (Frankie, Naz, Qazi). The whole slack community is very helpful as well. If i ever need help, questions, or even want to build connections, the slack community is the way. I also really enjoy the coaching calls. The coaching calls are very useful and should be a MUST ATTEND, because of how useful it is. Naz or whoever is teaching, always makes sure to answer every question and always different topics! Back to the modules, Naz & Qazi are VERY great teachers. They teach in a way to make it less difficult and a fun experience. I personally love the structure of the course as well so you always know what to expect to work on and complete. I would highly recommend PWJ!

Full Stack Mastery Student

I'm a student in Clever Programmer's new Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp and I have to say that Clever Programmer is very underrated when it comes to a platform that teaches web development.

My experience with the faces of CP, like Qazi, Naz, Jessy, Lem and Daniel have always been very supportive. They're extremely helpful with taking the time to break down difficult programming concepts and they never leave anyone behind. At the end of the day, any program like this one can only take you so far, you have to be willing to PUT IN THE WORK, for it to WORK FOR YOU!

I think people get the wrong idea that joining programs like this will solve all their problems because they expect the program to do everything for them. This is a platform for you to grow as a developer, and I gotta say it's a damn good one. Between the knowledge they give you and the support (mental, emotional, programmatic or otherwise), CP has been well worth it!

Lot of positive energy with fantastic mentoring!

I honestly loved the great motivation in their platform . They help you in boosting your confidence and ensure you have the positive learning attitude throughout course of their programs, especially bootcamp where you get great chance to participate and learn with team.
Few who may not feel same may have a different perception altogether, but for those who wanted quick success in career, this is awesome platform to join and start with.
Keep up the good work guys !

The best decision ever!!!

I joined Clever Programmer’s Full Stack Mastery Bootcamp in January and it has been such an amazing experience for me! It is providing me with the comprehensive skill set needed to become a successful developer.

We have great instructors who make the course highly engaging and can breakdown difficult concepts. I love how interactive the courses are. There is also a lot of support provided from the instructors and classmates.

One of the most valuable aspects of this bootcamp is the focus on problem-solving. I am learning how to think like a programmer by working on projects with real-world application.

The CP team genuinely cares about students' success. I can't say how grateful I am to be part of this bootcamp.

Great learning experience

I have recently joined Clever Programmer for Fullstack Mastery Bootcamp and I find it a lot of fun and informative learning experience. Being an experienced developer, I was still struggling with practicing for tech interviews which are based on computer science fundamentals. I like the fact that they have a lot of live coaching calls which are again informative and help practice fundamentals. The most important aspect they are teaching is a mindset and a lot of encouragement to keep going, which was missing from my earlier learning experiences.
They also have many ReactJs based projects to add to the portfolio. Overall a great experience! Loving it! :)

I give only a less than average score…

I give only a less than average score for Clever Programmer. I attended their live classes on Youtube and Facebook multiple times as well as watched many of their videos online. There were a couple problems I noticed which made their program not for me.

1. They were always late for live sessions. I have been working in the IT field since 1989. Being late is just not good practice. You must respect the time of everyone who wants to learn and they just didn't seem to do that. That's a big red flag for me and not professional.

2. I found other instructors who were better teachers for me and taught the same items that PWJ did for a fraction of the cost. Much of the information can even be found for free.

In summary, the price they charge just is not worth it in my opinion, everything they teach can be found somewhere else for free or for significantly less. They do not respect the time of others joining their live sessions online. If you say you are going to start at 1:00, do not finally start at 1:30. This is just not professional and it happened often - too often for my liking.

After much thought about whether I should join or not, I decided not to. Many reviews tell you if you are on the fence, just join now. I decided to hop off the fence and run the other way, I am very happy with the decision I made and the total cost I paid to learn Web Development, front-end, Back-end, React and so much more was $40 via other sources.
