Climbing Mastery Reviews 

I just completed Rock Ready 30 offered by Mike Vert at Climbing Mastery. It was a lot of fun to work with Mike as he made the program. It's super easy to follow along with and one of the only places online I have come across that made knot tying easy. Before I took the class, I was an okay climber but could really only climb indoors since I didn't know any of the necessary info on how to lead climb, build anchors, and everything else involved in outdoor climbing. Mike was always available for me to verify my work, and he checked in weekly to see how it was going as I went through his course. Totally worth the money. No regrets with the program overall.

I’ve learned so much from Mike, especially when it comes to anchors and outdoor climbing. There’s honestly so much climbing information out there, but he’s one of the few people I actually enjoy learning from. He explains things in a way that just makes sense and feels really approachable, almost like having a really knowledgeable climbing buddy or mentor walking you through it.

You can tell he puts a ton of work into what he does too. Technical climbing stuff can get overwhelming pretty fast, but somehow he makes it feel way less intimidating. A lot of what I learned really helped things click for me and made me feel more confident as I started getting into multipitch and trying to become more independent outside.

He also just seems like a genuinely great guy, which makes it that much easier to trust what he’s teaching. If you’re newer to outdoor climbing and actually want to understand what you’re doing instead of just memorizing systems, I’d 100% recommend checking out Mike’s programs. He’s probably the most relatable climbing educator I’ve come across and genuinely someone I trust learning from.

I completed rock ready 30 and man oh man was it good! Despite it being a new concept at the time Mike really worked hard to get me good content to keep me learning. The skool-platform made it easy to go back to old lessons to re-watch (since my course tied into older lessons) and I got good homework too. Before this course I felt intimidated by climbing outside an making anchors but now I feel confident enough to go multipitching with my experienced friends.
