Overall the Cloudbeds system is good, Cesar Lazarini was a great on boarding coach. He always took time to try to help us determine the best way to set something up. I think I would have liked a littl... See more

In general the channel manager is easy to use. It is the features it doesn't have that is effectively costing us money. We need to put in different cleaning costs for the various dwellings which are differentiated by size, number of beds and bathrooms. We can only charge one rate! Some guests naturally think the rate is too expensive for the one bedrooms at $94. The cost to service the 3 brm with two bathrooms is $152. Hence a loss $58 per stay.
Unless this can be resolved we will need to look elsewhere for a new channel manager

In general I would say the experience was great. The team was very helpful in our implementation process, I understand that we had a limited time to make the set up and that led to some issues, that I believe that if we were to have more time would have been easier to solve.
The only thing I feel is like there were some misinformation at the time of selecting our package. I think should be addressed by the sales team because it feels like there are "hidden" charges.
In general the sales team made a great effort with our account, there's just these little detail from information we weren't aware off.

Larissa was very patient and helpful. She knew exactly what the issue I was having and supported me with screenshots so I can troubleshoot the issue on my end as visuals are always a good idea. She also made sure that I could solve the issue on my own before she closed out the chat which is a sign of superior customer support.

I made the switch to Cloudbeds several months ago and realized that they have been fraudulently charging for one of their upgrade services - Amplify (15% commission). They provided no details on this during enrollment but added the service to the final contract. Shame on me for not catching it at the time. When I requested to cancel they said that they would still collect the commission on future reservations that may or may not actually complete payment. So if the guest does not arrive/pay I'll still be paying them a 15% commission for nothing. I gave them several opportunities to remedy the situation, but it seems this is part of their business model.
Edit 09/09: No one has reached out. I've seen this response from Cloudbeds to other complaints and I think it's just their effort to publicly appear helpful.

Your customer service is very helpful. Even though they can't answer questions about SLAs, but still send email to update the progress status.
