My time is too valuable but I had to let you know...

First I want to start by saying that this company has gone out of their way and produced made up documentation to justified charging my account after I canceled my subscription. So here's how it happened; I've been using the service for almost a year without any complains, after a period of time of not needing it I've decided to cancel my subscription. They have 2 systems, one browser based and the other is a desktop app; the problem I believe is that they're having problems keeping them separate. I originally sign up on the "browser" then switched to the "desktop" app. So when I went to cancel I went to the app but there wasn't a way to cancel so then I've decided to check the browser and there it was, my subscription was reflected there, I went ahead and canceled it and I could see real time going from a monthly subscription to free immediately. A few weeks later my account was charged, I contact them and they were very rude and condescending towards me and didn't want to hear the truth. I've tried the chat and wasn't any different but only then they produced a screenshot of some sort of record showing that I've canceled on that very same day, UNBELIEVABLE!!! I assure you I didn't cancel anything other than my original subscription weeks earlier. So they rather LIE and lose a potential returned customer just for $19. Stay away....

Based on your description, it sounds like there’s been some misunderstanding regarding the subscription. As you mentioned, you’ve clearly started your subscription on the Web based mastering service (9th December 2021). Then later on the same day you’ve transferred the subscription to app.cloudbounce.com in order to access the Desktop App. As you can only use one of these services at any given time, you’ve become predominantly a desktop app user (usage data supports this 100%), hence the subscription management has also transferred over to app.cloudbounce.com, where you should have been able to cancel any active plans under the “subscriptions” tab.

If you’ve then went back to the Web system to cancel, that has left the plan at the Desktop App intact, not canceling it. This is a very logical outcome in this situation. Then, the plan has automatically renewed the last time on 9th October 2022, and was subsequently canceled on 10th October 2022. After cancellation, you've had access to mastering until the next renewal date, 8th November 2022 (plan expiration date).

We’d like to also mention, that we don’t produce any false documentation to support any claims. All of the usage data is factual and can be found from our payments processor Braintree and the usage data softwares we use. We are of course happy to provide further details if needed, just holler via in-app chat or send email to feedback@cloudbounce.com. Great app for what I need for mastering DJ mixes

So far I'm happy with my purchase and still learning with it and early days but no reason to be disatisfied at this point.... I'm surprised by the negative reviews to be fair. I found Cloudbounce via Digital DJ Tips, was looking for an app to master DJ mixes from my online radio shows.... I considered Cloudbounce and LandR. I don't need the online / cloud storage so opted for the desktop app. I upload all my mixes to Soundcloud and Mixcloud. I had a good chat with reps on the online chat and they gave me a good deal for 12 months, $66 USD. The mastering result is better than what I was doing previously which was just uploading the recording from the DJ mix with no mastering or editing at all. Whilst I could learn to use audacity etc and it cost me nothing. I couldn't be bothered so will use Cloudbounce for now...

I have the test mixes on my soundcloud - before and afters. If anyone wants them for comparison find me @djmistag and I'll send them. I can't post links on here as it won't let me....

Cloudbounce was a 1/3rd of the price and unlimited use and all file formats supported. I'm not a music produce so can't vouch for anything more than what I use it for....

My worst subscription experience ever

Based on my personal experience my recommendation is to avoid Cloudbounce at all costs. Without doubt Cloudbounce is the worst online subscriber experience I have ever had the displeasure of stumbling into. I only used it once and the results were uninspiring to say the least, so I decided not to waste any further time on it. Unfortunately Cloudbounce are a bit like Hotel California in that they really really don't want you to leave and the subscription automatically renews just 7 days after a solitary 'reminder' email is sent, which can be easily missed. Once your money is taken there is no refund. You can't cancel and be refunded a percentage back or anything like that. Just like a Rottweiler, once they have your money they are not letting go. Their 'help'desk are well versed in the 'you didn't cancel soon enough' response, almost as if they use it a hundred times a day (I would't be surprised if they do). It gets better though, oh yes. After having taken my money for supposedly another years use of their (fairly poor in my view) software, I then received an email saying my subscription has been cancelled and I now cannot master any tracks. To be fair I wouldn't have used it anyway. 😂😂🤣 I'd steer well clear unless you like your bank account depleted out of the blue.

Getting the best out of the software might take more than one attempt though and a bit more experimentation with all the options available. Thousands of customers come to CloudBounce mainly for ease of use, and to get that high mastering quality at an affordable price. So lots of customers have found the results working really well for them, professionals included.

By looking the factual details of your particular subscription journey, there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary. Your Infinity Annual subscription was started in the fall of 2021 and it renewed automatically 12 months later according to the company terms of service that every customer accepts upon the signup and purchase process. Like you mentioned, CloudBounce sends out a reminder message 7 days prior to the renewal (sorry if you missed this one) to avoid any unwanted renewals.

The data on our end clearly shows, that your subscription is active and you can freely access it anytime at app.cloudbounce.com and in the desktop app for unlimited masters. complete waste of money

complete waste of money, i only used it a couple of times. they have now taken a repeat subscription without my authority.
tried to email them but they block my emails. The email reminder thay informs you of your repeat subscription does not allow you to respond.
This isnt fair in that you can't refuse re subscription in the remainder.
Trying to get refund, lets see what happens, i will keep you posted.
No refund or contact from them at all.

The Desktop "mini" app only supports 16 bit

The Desktop "mini" app only supports 16 bit output..

Customer support wasted my time telling me to re-install etc, only to finally get info that the desktop APP supports only 16 bit output..

On their page they advertise for the "desktop app" as having all mastering options, and several output formats; both which are incorrect; you can only output 16 bit WAV (which most record companies would not accept), and WAV and MP3 are the only types of formats supported.

If you are looking for AI mastering software for professional work, avoid this by all means.

Thanks for your message. The CloudBounce Mini desktop app is a "streamlined" entry level version (with lesser features) of the fully featured Desktop App that's sold via app.cloudbounce.com.

Please note that the CB Mini is currently only available through select reseller partners, and all Mini app specs are clearly laid out on their websites, (such as 44.1kHZ, 16-bit WAV & 320kbps MP3 exports only). Apologies if the differences between these two product versions were confusing in some way.

Get a good lawyer if you get this service

I tried the free trial and found I did not like the results I was personally getting from the desktop app so I immediately cancelled the next day which was still days before the trial ended. I still got charged with the subscription and customer service stated I had cancelled after being charged for the subscription after showing proof I cancelled before. They are thieves and I advise anyone to stay away.

Your purchase was a regular Annual Infinity subscription from our website. The subscription does not include any kind of Trial phase during which you could freely try the app and cancel if you don't like it. You simply buy and get the plan for the next 12 months after which it will automatically renew unless you cancel it prior to the renewal.

The sequence was that the purchase happened on May 22nd, 2022. After ca. 20 mins from the original purchase the Annual subscription was cancelled. This effectively only stops the billing and the renewal from happening in 12 months time. After this, the original purchase got charged by the system, as there might be a small processing lag with any and all payments via the payments processor. From our side nothing out of the ordinary has happened and therefore you haven't received a refund for this purchase (we do have a very clear refund policy available at https://app.cloudbounce.com/terms).

Ai takes too long and the mastering…

Ai takes too long and the mastering takes forever. its very inconsistent. Tried contacting support and no answer. Would not recommend this to anyone. Going to make sure they dont charge me again as i bought the unlimited monthly for 19.90 and will be canceling before the renewal. ive heard they continue to cahrge so i will have to put a block through paypal on them.

Poor Mastering - and they keep taking your money!!

Opened an account with Cloudbounce in 2018 on an annual subscription. Quickly realised the same generic issues with the way their software 'masters' (too much hiking of upper 5k-8k range creating unnecessary treble fuzz coupled with an often muddy interpretation of the bass frequencies). This applied to tracks across several genres as there seems to be a lack of any intuitive interpretation of vibe of the track you upload.
So I cancelled my account online and thought nothing more of it. Only to discover that they had kept on charging me for the past 2 years despite the fact I closed the account. Contacted their customer service and was told they have a "strict no refund policy" despite they can clearly see I haven't logged on to their site in over 2 and half years.
So I thought I had wasted a year's subscription on a poor mastering service when actually they have taken 3 years subscription form me. I'm sure it's actually fraudulent and illegal but they obviously know it's not viable to bring a claim against them for $150. Very sketchy company imho and very generic mastering treatment of audio.

Warning: desktop version is not the same! Inferior results.

I purchased the INFINITY PLAN which mysteriously turned into the INFINITY ANNUAL plan, and was unceremoniously cut off without warning after a year and four months. At least Cloudbounce offered me a reduced rate of $59.99 to get a new subscription for a year (they shouldn't call it INFINITY, if it's only for one year).

I started another subscription and was repeatedly/strongly urged to use the desktop app instead of the web based version. I installed the app and located the same classic setting as I had been using. I was extremely disappointed to find that it does not produce the same results, especially considering that I was right in the middle of finishing an album and was ending up with inconsistent results for the last few tracks.

Specifically, my favorite setting, the classic Rock Pop version on the web, is much louder and seems to have a more "open" quality sound, particularly in some of the treble frequencies. I attempted to raise the loudness on the app version of the classic Rock/Pop setting to match the loudness from the web results but it caused the final master to clip and distort in several places. This happened when using the exact same track. It is unfortunate, because the desktop app is much faster than the web based version which occasionally makes you wait in a "queue" because they apparently haven't invested enough in handling their traffic.

In the end, the app does not behave the same way and the end result is inferior.

I contacted support. They replied promptly, but seemed as though they weren't aware of the issues. It is totally unacceptable to be consistently urging users to use an inferior product in my opinion. I finally figured out how to migrate back to the web version and was able to get the results that I had come to expect, thank goodness!

Cloudbounce CAN produce good results if you know how to properly mix your tracks. Just know that the web based version sounds much better than the desktop app if you are willing to occasionally sit through long wait times.

The employees are the worst

The employees are the worst. The dude who picture shows in the chat treats you with this snobby attitude. Very condescending if I should say. Was told there was a one time payment to get a lifetime of service from the site. Honestly it’s the only reason I got it. They charged my card this morning and I immediately emailed cloudbounce about a refund and was told that we could cancel, I agreed. He emails back that the subscription ends next year in 2022 and if I had any questions to let them know and ended it “Thanks”. I mean we all know what that means. I asked to cancel now and have yet to receive a response. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!

Really like this program

Really like this program, I got the lifetime license and I'm very glad I did.
Long story short it works and works very well. I opted for the desktop version and made sure the mix was spot on before using Cloudbounce. I highly recommend it to anyone who can make a good mix (properly) but are still earning their mastering chops.

I've been creating music for years now…

I've been creating music for years now and more often than not master my own tracks but from time to time I delve into online mastering for quick and quality masters for various projects. I've used them all but always come back to cloudbounce.

Having read through some of the negative reviews, in my experience, I have had no issues whatsoever with cloudbounce. Upload a mix and the master is on my desktop within 5 minutes at the most.

Customer service can be a little slow but on the whole very helpful.

As for quality, no issues again. I don't want it to change the sound of my mix, i just need to hit the target levels which it does nicely. Afterall, it ain't going to polish a bad mix so get your mix in the ball park before uploading.

5/5 for me.

Best for the price

Reading the other reviews on here, I don't know what people are expecting. CloudBounce cannot work miracles if your starting audio is terrible. Professional people use CloudBounce all of the time for film dialogue sound mixing and music production!

Terrible!!! customer service, Scam

Terrible customer service. Charged after canceling my account. I have not had access to my tracks and my plan has said "Free" yet customer service claims you have to send a message to deactivate account and not get charged? Super shady scammers.
When I login it literally says that I cannot view my tracks because I need to activate my account. Customer service claims I was charged because it is not deactivated? Never use this service. Avoid the headache!

Sorry to hear if things didn’t go smoothly for you. Recurring subscriptions will renew automatically after each period unless a cancellation request is sent to us to verify the cancellation. If your account is already canceled and the subscription ended, in that case account shows “Free” status and access to masters will be temporarily lost until you become a subscriber again. Another possibility is that you have created two accounts accidentally.

Our company had a 3rd party notification system that didn’t send every notification correctly (we only found out this recently, and stopped using this provider). Hence, we created our own subscription renewal system to ensure that all subscribers will get a notification 7 days prior to the renewal, as it should be. We strive for the best possible audio quality, and we hope that shows in our products. Have you tried the new Desktop App yet (app.cloudbounce.com)? Thanks!

Hard to cancel the subscription

Sound is okay, but support is terrible. I canceled the subscription two times and still they are charging. Best advice is not to use this service
