Class only but no clients

Unfortunately, I had the same experience as everyone else. It seems like back in 2021 there was only good reviews so the company was probably were just set up for a year and planted fake reviews. I did enjoy the coaching class and learned some exercises and techniques so I can't say that it was completely a waste but I was not able to get clients and when I continuously emailed asking questions aboutthe website, they eventually stopped responding so I suspected something was off. That is is what prompted me to Google if this was a scam because I know that there were a ton of other coaches in the training with me so I knew I wasn't the only one. I actually tried to set up a profile as a client because I was interested in getting career coaching myself but the site only recommended the same 3 coaches and none had availability. I tried to do it 3 separate times and got the same results so that was really fishy to me and when I emailed them asking about it, they stopped responding. I actually tried to go on the website today and it doesn't seem to exist anymore. In hindsight, I probably should have tried to sign up as a client before signing up as a coach. At the end of the day I choose to look at it as paying for a class but they didn't deliver what they promised which was a part time opportunity to make extra money.
Update- I just sent them an email out of curiosity and it got returned to me. So the website and email no longer work. Definitely a scam and they will likely move on and change their name to something else :(

Big scam

I paid 600 into the course, I took all of the classes for 3 months, I passed with the certification. I was told that I would get login information as soon as I signed the contract to work for them. I am tired of crappy people getting away with this. If we all pulled together we could at least keep them from continuing to do this to people.

COMPANY IS A FRAUD AND A SCAM (THEY ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE USA, THEY ACTUALLY ARE LOCATED IN ISRAEL)

The reviews below ARE FAKE AND ITS A SCAM, He creates Coachampions and they make you pay and then there are no clients. Then they RE-created this company (his name was Eric Levine, and Eric Bensoussan ). There is no address, no Instagram Facebook twitter account - don't give them any of your money - SCAMMERS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. There are no clients they are all lies! The company is in Tel Aviv Israel and is owned by SSC Services LTD. Be careful and do not sign-up, the coaches aren't officially certified nor are they professional. If you sign up to be a life coach, you will not get any clients and they will stop responding to you. You will lose a lot of money so be warned. They say their company is located somewhere in North America but that is a lie. It is based in Israel and they re-create theses business over and over again to scam people during COVID and who are truly suffering - don't suffer more by working with them or signing up. Stay safe and be cautious. SSC services creates and re-creates several coaching websites (Coach Elephants, Coachampions, Coacheroes, etc. - BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT TRUST)

It is a fraudulent scam

It is a fraudulent scam, they make you pay for a course and their program also charge you insurance - but you get no clients. They take your money and don’t respond. It is an Israeli company so do not do it - TOTAL FRAUD AND SCAM - they have another company called Coach Elephants and it is the same - fraudulent business based in Israel and owned by the same company. Run away from this.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!! BEEN THERE DONE THAT WITH THEM.... YOU PAY $1495 FOR A 12 WK COURSE THEN THEY WANT $385 FOR LIABILITY INSURANCE, THEN THEY "ADVISE" TO TAKE AN 4 WK ADVANCED CLASS FOR ALMOST ANOTHER $400. AND AT THE END, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET YOUR PROFILE ON THEIR SITE, CAN'T GET INTO THEIR SCHEDULING SYSTEM, THEY REFUSE TO TALK TO YOU ON THE PHONE, (THEY TALK PLENTY WHEN TRYING TO ENROLL YOU, THEN YOU GET GHOSTED) THEY ONLY WANT TO COMMUNICATE THEN WITH EMAILS, WHICH THEY RARELY RETURN. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY MONEY REFUNDED ON THE INSURANCE AND ADVANCE CLASS THAT I DID NOT TAKE WHEN I REALIZED IT WAS A SCAM, BUT TO NO AVAIL. I DID NOT EVEN TAKE THE ADVANCED CLASS! PLEASE, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. IF YOU WANT MORE INFO, email me:

Coachampions is fraudulent

Coachampions is fraudulent, non-communicative and misleading. I paid for a Coachampions certification which I never received after asking a series of questions about certification nationally or internationally. I got radio silence. My credit card was double dipped. Once again I received no clarification. I tried to reach the principals of this company, that is a fellow named Vince and Rob without success. Eric the instructor plays deaf, dumb and blind to anything that Coachampions says and does and professes to be only a contractor. Their contact phone numbers etc., are seemly based out of New Jersey. According to Website called Scamadvisor Coachampions is a website within a website. So read the reviews. They have a 20% legitimacy ranking. Something I found out too late. Further scrutinization of the payment receipts from Coachampions through SSC shows they are produced in Tel Aviv Israel. This is a total scam. Clint J. BSc, RRT, MSc

Scam Alert ⚠️

This is a scam. You've been warned. You will not get any communication after training. The training was actually good. However, the company is straight up fake. I called the corporate number and the number for the representative that interviewed me. I received no communication from phone or email attempts. I'm beyond disappointed. I hoped that this company would aid in fulfilling my purpose...helping others. WRONG! KEEP YOUR MONEY. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

I enrolled with them in December I…

I enrolled with them in December I scraped money together to get into their program with hopes of finding better job prospects and work from home. Almost at the end of the course we were offered an opportunity to enroll for another course so when getting on to their platform we would be advanced coaches. I scraped money together again to get in to the program upon completion I expressed my interest in working on their platform. I was then onboarded and have not booked any clients. I've sent emails expressing my disappointment with the processes and the fact that they told me at when they first approached me that I would be making money right away on their platform after enrolling for the program. I questioned that and didn't get any answers. I questioned the liability insurance as well (it was mentioned in training) I didn't get answers to that either.
The company came across as money hungry because all they cared about was when the next installment is due, but never provided answers to questions I had raised. This company's practices in my opinion are highly unethical. To add salt to injury,I had one client who booked and they were a no-show.They are a bunch of scammers who over promise and never deliver.I think it’s fair to contact our banks and despute all charges as fraud because what they did is just that -fraud

I'm so disappointed

I'm so disappointed. I was told by Alex the representent that coachampion was overbooked, there were so many clients that I would be booked really quickly. Reality is that one person signed up in 16 days. My problem is the lack of honesty because they promess something else. Very disappointed
Don't enroll if you think you will be able to have a decent income.

I regret even going to this school

I regret even going to this school, let alone forked over my hard earned money for classes and I can’t believe I signed a contract with y’all and signed up for the “advanced masters” classes and don’t get started on the profile I had to make and my lack of clients. Y’all so quick to get the money out of my account but oh so very slow at responding to emails I sent. I should’ve listened to my first mind and gut the first time but I now know what to look out for going forward. This place should be up front with its potential students and give out automatic refunds for fumbling big time. This is beyond wrong on so many levels

THEY DRAIN YOUR WALLET WITHOUT GETTING CLIENTS

I've tried coachampions as both a client and a coach. Both experiences have been terrible.

The most important: Once you complete their training, which you are required to pay for and complete prior to being listed, even if you're already a certified coach, they tell you that you'll be more likely to get clients and get paid $20 more per session if you take their "advanced training" which, again, costs several hundreds more. This "advanced training" is just practicing with other students and then the trainer gives feedback. You get 1 turn, and you can't interact in the chat, so that practice coaching session is your only opportunity to communicate with other students. As training, it is not worth the money. Since you won't get any actual paying clients with coachampions, it isn't worth the imaginary "raise" either. AFTER they have your money and have gotten your hopes up that you will get lots of clients from them, they tell you that you have to buy their "responsibility plan" for several hundreds of dollars in order to work on their platform, unless you already have your own liability insurance, which is quite pricey, especially if you don't have an established independent client base, in which case, you wouldn't even be seeking out a platform like this anyway.

From the client side:

I was presented the same 5 coach options over and over upon first signing up. They have no availability set in their calendars. After switching areas of coaching back and forth dozens of times, I finally got it to show a few more coaches, most of which also had no availability. There was no matching of types of coaches that was of any use for the area of coaching I picked, either. I finally booked a session, and made sure it was 2 days in advance so that the coach would have time to see I had booked it. But the zoom link asked for a passcode which was not given to me. I messaged the coach twice, once on the day I booked, and again at my session time, and got no response. There is no option to reschedule a session, only to cancel, and then go back through the arduous task of trying to find a coach that has availability listed again. You cannot read the entire profiles of coaches before (or even after) choosing one, as it cuts off after the third line.

From the coach side:
The calendar has very little functionality. Many times, it will clear my calendar while I am trying to set availability, and I have to start over from the beginning. There is an option to set recurring weekly availability, however you are unable to change a single day without cancelling all the others after it if you have another obligation one day. It does not have any options to connect to my Google account to block out availability automatically when I schedule other things, as most other platforms do. You can't set two sets of availability per day if you have an obligation in the middle of the day, so you can only give clients the option to schedule before or after it, but not both. Unless you keep your profile very short, it will likely get cut off and most of it left unable to be read by prospective clients.

Additional issues: The recruiter I signed up to talk to stood me up twice when I tried to get information about joining. He told me that I could expect to do 5-10 discovery sessions per week once I signed up, if I listed plenty of available hours, and that I could expect to get 2 or 3 clients out of those each week until I built my client base. I got 1 in 2 weeks, who stood me up as well. He told me that I would receive internationally recognized credentialing from the training, and implied it was with ICF. I later found out it is with CPD, which isn't a coach credentialing organization at all. I was charged for a third payment when I signed up for a 2 installment payment plan, which took nearly 2 weeks to refund.

Bottom line: The initial training may be worth it to someone who has no training at all. The advanced training is not worth the money. The requirement for the responsibility plan is not disclosed to you until you have already paid for and completed the training. Upon inspection of their plan pricing, they make almost no money from actual coaching sessions unless the coaches do NOT complete the advanced training prior to signing up with them. This just further proves they care only about making money from people paying for training they may not even need, and sometimes doesn't even provide them any actual benefit, along with their "responsibility plan" which does nothing since you'll never get an actual client, much less be at risk for one suing you or them. I would give 5 stars if they marketed simply as their initial coaching training without the platform for getting clients.

These predatory and misleading business practices are shameful!!!

I signed up for training to get clients

I signed up for the classes. I enjoyed the classes and it was a helpful review as I am already a certified coach. I was told I would be able set up a profile on their website and get clients. I finished the classes, did all my homework and got the acknowledgement email. I logged set up my account only to be told that to really get clients and improve my rating I needed to sign up for 2 or 3 additional classes to be higher on the coach choices. I thought I'd try out the basic model first and if I had a good experience, I would do more to improve my rating. I had one client sign up for the free intro session. He brought all kinds of issues that were not coachable topics. He needed a professional counselor or better a therapist. We discussed this before ending the session. He vowed to sign up and work with me on coachable topics but did not and I never heard anything. Then I had calendar trouble. I could not list my available hours and reported it 2-3 times through their email bot. It said I was an unauthorized user!!!! I received No reply. I sent an email to my instructor asking for assistance and was brushed off. He said, I have no idea what you are talking about. I had sent screenshots etc.

Then, I had two people sign up for times outside of my parameters. I reported the issue and no response. I have gotten ZERO clients from Coach Champions- ZERO. It has been 3 months post my completion of the program that was $1,000. I am still working full time, I only wanted 2 or 3 a month to help me with my hours toward MCC. I am so disappointed- If they had reached out, sent me a guide to setting up my calendar, anything- but Nothing! It feels like I have been blocked from their list. If they could help me and turn this around, I will change my review but for now, I cannot give them a positive review.

SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT
Hello, Beware of taking this course with them. First, I had an appointment to get interview by them and they never showed up. After the guy phoned me back about the coaching program I thought it was good and I signed up. I paid over 1400 CAD They told me it was going to be an interactive course and it wasn't it was just a guy just reading off some powerpoint slides. Then they want to upsell you another course and this course this time was actually interactive and live. How come the other one wasn't if I paid so much money for it? Don't fall for this scam. Then after you are done they ask you to pay for a liability insurance in order to work for them. They never tell you that in the beginning because they just want to grab your money selling you the mastery course which it is a course that serves no purpose because it's only a month and you don't learn anything. After all this, I did an extensive research of them and found it they change their company name all the time and I was able to read some really bad reviews. It's sad I did my homework about them right at then end of finishing this course, but it was because at the beginning they paint you it is so easy to start working with them right away but it's not true, you have to pay more money. Please don't fall for this, there should be more people doing this kind of reviews but since they change their name all the time, I found other negative reviews discussing the same on other pages. Be careful! I have proof of everything I'm saying because after the review they contacted me asking me to join without having to pay their insurance , and they will send me a log in details which they never did. After following along to see if it is true , they are always giving me the round around and after sending them a 3rd email waiting on log in credentials they no longer answer my messages . I have proof of all e-mails
