My NAV system was occassionally not loading and causing the audio head unit to continually reboot. After talking to Steve about the problems he quickly identified the issue as a HDD failure and offered an upgrade to SSD that took care of the problem and also has the system loading up much faster with a more responsive NAV now! Even though he is not in my local area, he connected me with a local repair person who could do the hardware swap and software setup...I could not have asked for better service from both of them and would highly recommend the services of Codemybimmer!!!

The BMW i3 is an awesome car, with lots of capabilities which must be coded. One of them is Traffic Jam Assist. Steve came highly recommended for doing the coding and he certainly lived up to the great things that were said about him.

I purchased an idrive 6 head unit from codemybimmer about a year ago and it’s been great. I decided I wanted to upgrade my screen to a touch screen model to take better advantage of carplay. I purchased and installed the screen and Steve remotely coded it in less than 10 minutes! It all worked first time - awesome service!

Steven was extremely patient. He set up a SiriusXM retrofit for my 328xi. I had an old Mac, and he waited for this slow machine to download everything. We would talk via phone, we would disconnect while the Mac slowly did it's thing. He would call back and tell me the next steps. Bascially, he waited out a 3.5-4 hours session that should have taken 30ish minutes if I had a better computer. I'll use him for any retrofits, as he could have just told me to get a better computer, or deal with someone else.

I got the 6WB coding done with no issues. Steve was very professional and set up a time at my convenience.

I also purchased the iDrive 6 retrofit for my F30. Was a seamless install and everything coded very quickly. He even recoded the unit to work with my 6WB console.

Even when he was out of stock of the touchscreen, he had another associate who could help me find another touchscreen.

Purchased the NBT EVO ID5/ID6 retrofit and it realy was plug and play. Steve was great. He answered all my question. Two weeks later I contacted Steve to code my 6WB cluster retrofit and he did a great Job. We set up an appointment, he was right on time and very professional. Highly recommend his services.

I was so nervous before this coding, but Steve was an absolute professional. He replied to all my questions via email promptly before i purchased from the website. He was exactly on time for the coding. During coding i did pretty much nothing other than connect him to my laptop. after it was done he called me and went through all the codes to confirm they were all functional. After using Carly to code my 2014 BMW F30, a "Passenger Restraint System" error displayed on my dash which I cannot get rid off. I browsed around of who and how to fix the error. I found Steven Ma name through Bimmerposts forum with positive discussions. I contacted him for assistance and his responses was fast, straight forward and professional. Steve was easy to deal with and even gave me a little bonus as we walked through the coding process. His professional service is stellar, and I highly recommend him. My experience gave him 5 stars.

I just used Codemybimmer, Steven Ma did my work. I needed someone to Code my X5 after I installed a BMW trailer hitch. The entire process was was easy starting with asking questions, which he responded to almost immediately, to paying for the service, and then to having the coding done via remote session. He is super knowledgeable!! Seems to be able to handle any type of coding needed, and the price was half what another firm had quoted to me. Highly Recommended!!!

Super easy to get everything coded that I wanted. Great at explaining all the coding features. Takes about an hour. Goes over everything at the end to make sure it worked. Great price! Get everything you want for one price. Way better than the a la carte approach from other companies. Totally recommend!

Once a proud owner of an Audi Allroad that finally gave up the ghost after valiant service and 245K miles, I opted for another wagon, this time a 2015 BMW 328d, thinking it would make a good replacement.

After several months I noticed that the headlights seemed a little lacking in their distance throw and discovered that the car's OEM halogen lamped headlights were the worst of any installed in any 2015 year auto.

Desperate to find replacement headlights, I finally found a non BMW OEM product that threw a more reasonable beam onto the road, BUT my dash was alight with a warning signal indicating a "failed lamp'.

After endless searching one internet BLOG after another, I found the founder of Codemybimmer, Steve Ma, and discovered the many improvements to my car's OEM setup: window rearview mirrors automatically fold closed when the car is turned off, high beams and fogs can work together, disabled warning message about non OEM headlights, digital speedometer in dash (great for precise driving over posted speeds), start in eco-mode always saving precious diesel fuel, and countless other improvements.

Steve was extraordinarily patient as I navigated the issues of finding a good internet connection for my iMac laptop while sitting in the car on the street in NYC, running Parallels to afford his Windows based access, and using TEAMVIEWER to "code my bimmer'. KUDOS to Steve.

Finally I bought the map upgrade, bringing my 2015 navigation to the year 2020.

Steve was excellent! If you want your BMW coded, there’s no better place than Code my Bimmer. He was fast, friendly, and very diligent. Excellent customer service and super helpful. I’ve sent him to a few of my neighbors as well.

Contacted Steve and he had Vithy come out to code my car. He explained everything and offered recommendations which I really appreciated. Answered all of my questions and was really patient.
