Ordered this week, product has been shipped and I can't wait to try it! It's not a scam, but people like to call it that when they sign up for a subscription service and then forget, or don't know how to cancel! It's no different than the other subscription services like Hello fresh etc. Of course they make it difficult to leave, however I find the entire page completely transparent in regards to the £55 monthly charge. It even tells you the date its going to come out. If you arent comfortable using technology, don't sign up and take a stroll down to Holland and Barrett. Stop harassing and ruining someone's hard work and investment for your own stupid mistakes, cause you didn't read the small print. Come on, it's 2021...maybe pop into Specsavers whilst you're at it ;)
On a side note however, I found it odd that my confirmation email was sent to one account, and my account was set up in a different. I dont remember using two addresses but wondering if this is down to using PayPal. I did struggle to access my account and had to reset my password. Again, likely my human error.
I placed an order for the free sample on 9th Feb and immediately upgraded to the full pack with the discount. This order still hasn't arrived - it's actually impossible to track the order as the parcel is distributed to Whistl who then arrange a courier (they use Royal Mail and don't use a tracked service). I've fired off a couple of emails to their support team but haven't received a reply yet.
However, this isn't the main problem. When they informed me my first order (bear in mind this order still hasn't arrived) had shipped on February 12th, they handily included a reminder of my next payment date 12th March. So you can imagine my surprise when they billed me for another full box (£55.16) on February 19th.
Naturally, I reached out to their customer support and have yet to receive a reply. Looking at their reviews, it seems like replying to the many disgruntled customers they've accrued is something they deem as beneath them.
I also found their founders on LinkedIn and shot them a message. No reply their either.
Think that pretty much ticks of all the signs of a scam in action. avoid at all costs.
I bought 3 months supply, to give it a really good shot. I felt no benefit at all, so I let it rest. Then a couple of weeks after the supply had run out, I got another box with no warning. They won't take it back. Don't trust these sharks!
Don't buy,
I never recive nothing even my feee trial.
They dont aswer email and charge me 60 £
This company is a scam offering a free sample plus a postage and this is great. Unfortunately you don’t know your automatically added to a very exspensive subscription with out your knowledge of 50 pounds plus a month, a free trial is free right? And as much as I was originally interested in this product why would you pay 50 pounds plus a month anyway? This company has come out international at lockdown targeting vulnerable people. They should be ashamed of them selves! I strongly recommend checking your PayPal and bank account cancelling any direct debits they have set and PayPal payments and contacting them with consumer rights act 2015! I surprisingly got a refund that I was not expecting! The funny thing is I was very interested in this product! It’s a shame, I actually threw my trial kit in the bin as I’m convinced if someone will scam you like this then the product could be nothing of any help or even a detrimental effect to your Health!
Worst company ever. They took 60 pounds from my account. It was pretty hard to find the canceling button, the pills did not arrive and also I can't get a refund. Probably they will give me a boring copy-pasted reply as I saw in the reviews below. Avoid this company at all costs, I saw that some people here were scammed even worse than myself. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

The trial package is not a free trial package.
I didn't order the subscription and still they charged me for it. It is not visible that you are ordering a subscription only in fine print.
When canceling the subscription they made it extremely hard to cancel. I also had to reset my password. This didn't work in the beginning as well. They use every trick they can, i needed 8-10 clicks to cancel. Switching the answers from yes to no. That are just business practices of scammers. How is this company still alive?

i cant login with my password and cant change it, the reset password link brings me to their homepage!!

I bought the sample package for 2.95 euros and received it promptly. I cancelled the automatic subscription straight away to avoid charges. I have to admit the supplements did precisely what I wanted. I feel energised, awake, focused, refreshed less than an hour after consumption. Based on the product alone I can't fault Cogniora.

1. using Facebook ads to mislead (cause everybody just is in fly-by mode)
2. suggesting, it's just a test kit order
3. suggesting being an somewhat 'spiritual' company
4. using PayPal as a way to easily deduct, knowing that it could get difficult to get the money back with just the file case function
5. using emails as a supposedly mean to inform about the seemingly subscription, knowing that nobody reads it really, especially when it's on tiny letters (same as during ordering). or landing in the spam folder
does anyone know how to get their money back? did someone?
70 euro for some ginseng pills? sorry
can someone help?
(( please cogniora, I can't effort this, get barely through the month! it's not fair! ))

Hi! Same as many here. I merely ordered the free sample pack for 3€ All of a sudden my Paypal account was billed for 68,66 Pounds.
I worked at the German Internet Association. I know that under German law (Paragraph §312 BGB):
(2) In the case of a consumer contract in electronic commerce, the subject of which is a paid service by the entrepreneur, the entrepreneur must provide the consumer with the information in accordance with Article 246a § 1 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Numbers 1, 4, 5, 11 and 12 of the Introductory Act to the Civil Immediately before the consumer places his order, make available the code in a clearly and understandable manner in a highlighted manner. (3) The entrepreneur must arrange the order situation for a contract according to paragraph 2 in such a way that the consumer expressly confirms with his order that he is obliged to pay. If the order is placed via a button, the entrepreneur's obligation under sentence 1 is only fulfilled if this button is clearly legible with nothing other than the words "order subject to payment" or is labeled with a corresponding unambiguous wording. (4) A contract in accordance with paragraph 2 is only concluded if the entrepreneur fulfills his obligation under paragraph 3. The new regulations concern, on the one hand, the correct specification and placement of mandatory information as well as the correct labeling of the completion button, which ultimately triggers the order.
This means that under German law, I have not made a valid contract of business with Cogniora.
With all that said, please reimburse my money, or I will take legal action with the German consumer protection bureau.
There is nothing clear and concise about the methods they use. I don´t even have a customer account on their website, in which I could cancel this subscription. They scam people out of their money, as clear as day. It´s not only me, there are many others. I would have given 0 stars if possible.
Kind regards, stay healthy

I would avoid this company at all costs - in my opinion total scammers.
Ordered the trial which to be fair (hence the 1 star) arrived promptly.
But, the subscription packages never arrived. Their customer support made poor excuses about Brexit and said that they sorry about the delay. However, in their system it said clearly the order hadn't been completed to send, so quite clearly a lie there.
3 weeks, still no packages arrived and support just making all kinds of excuses and saying we "hope it arrives" in the next few days
They made some attempt to offer 30% off, but what use is that if they can't fulfil the order at full price.
If they want £50 that bad they could have just asked, rather than pretending to sell something and not actually post it.

Everything they say about this company is true.
I was charged 2months later from my trial and they were not helpful when telling them the situation. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

I received Cogniora's sample package in the same week I ordered it. I also received a confirmation for cancelling the automatic subscription right away. Cogniora seems reliable. Only negative thing they've done is bother with a few promotional mails but this is no problem.

Scam! I have not even tried the'Free' trial which you have to pay quite a lot for p&p and they have charged me £56! Even if this was a great product, I would not trust these thieves. They use this smaller payment to later steal from you.

Ordered a sample through my brother's PayPal, therefore, an account was never created. The pills don't work so now I can't log in to cancel, and customer service won't answer my emails. I've also tried changing the password and nothing. Support on FB doesn't answer, either. I'm trying not to get swindled here and the company is making it as difficult as possible to avoid the expense.

This company steals money from unsuspecting people. In teeny fine print at the end of ordering a trial packet of nootropics, this company puts notice that they are signing you up for a subscription to their services. There is no real notification of this, and they don't send you an email confirming this or reminding you so you can cancel. They then take £56 from your account and then tell you, even if you email them right away, that you did not sign up for this, that you did when you asked to receive the trial. Do not waste your money or your time.

Do not buy from this company. I use black Friday offer which state 32£ a month and they charge me a full amount which is almost 400£. I tried to cancel straight away but they do not answer for my emails . Next day they say its not possible cancel order because the pills are already made. No phone number to call. Which good company don't have a phone number ????. Avoid this company or you like sending thousands of emails with this same respond "I apologize if this has confused you and caused you inconvenience"Im still waiting from Paypal to sort that out . Hopefully, I will get my money back

I signed up for the free trial. As I haven’t felt well as recent. I thought I’d try a few ore christmas. And in then we year decide. When I went through the pages. I clicked trial only. I received the tablets, but actually after the second day didn’t get on well with them. I never had any follow up email from them, but have from other vitamin companies to state we will charge you x at a certain date unless you cancel or pause. Which I've done. But I had not even a single email from Cogniora. Just a lovely shock from my bank balance of losing £60 right before Christmas when I’m struggling for cash. I emailed immediately to say I didn’t want these. Please refund me. But it seems the statement I had back is a copy and paste job as it’s exactly what they have written below. Meaning they are scamming people by not being clear and clearly not emailing to follow up.
Please report this business to stop this from happening to others who are just trying to survive right now!! And please share in your social feeds to not use this business as I don’t want people to have to go through this.
I’m speaking to Trading standards myself today as it looks like a few others of you have so hopefully this can stop happening.
I want my money back and for you to stop scamming people!! Run your business normally.... you should be wanting to help people not rip them off !!!!
£50 was taken from my account and the reason why was not clear. Bad customer service where I had to resort to filing a report with MasterCard before they would offer a (partial) resolution.
They blocked me on Facebook so I couldn't leave reviews.
Package took around a month to arrive.
Transcripts of emails and transactions are available if this needs to be verified.
