Cognito Education Reviews 

Cognito was the main app i used for my gcses and honestly was the best revision app i used the whole time. It had multiple options to choose from such a videos, quizzes and flashcards which helped a lot. After these you could also complete past papers and practice questions. I would definitely recommend this app for anyone trying to revise.

I asked my daughter if there was anything she would like in order to assist her with revision for her GCSE’s (as her sister has a tutor for Math). My daughter told me that she would like to get Cognito as she’d seen it online (I think on TikTok or somewhere), and thought it looked really good (I think she may have used / trialled a free version). Anyway I signed her up and wrote on my calendar to make sure I gave notice to cancel the subscription a month before her exams completed. As usual (for me!) I didn’t get round to it immediately, (but once I did, I made another note on my calendar - to check that my request to give notice of cancellation had been actioned. (Too often companies have made me jump through hoops in order to cancel a subscription, (or just haven’t replied or actioned my request at all!). But not Cognito! Cognito are different! Cognito obviously understand customer service! I got a reply email from Tom almost immediately - in fact it quite possibly could have been immediately! And it was a lovely pleasant email too! (Thanking me for my email and advising me that my subscription has been cancelled so it won’t renew after the next bill is due, and that we will retain service until that renewal date). Not just the bog standard “your account has been cancelled - the end”. My daughter found Cognito extremely useful and a far more enjoyable way to revise than many other methods, (and a great price - compared to a tutor!). I shall ask my daughter if she would like me to re-start her subscription for A-level revision at a later date. Thank you again to Cognito!

Really helpful for my daughter to revise for her GCSE’s. Very easy to open and close her account and fantastic customer service.

Excellent platform. Used the free version and I had to cram a ton in my April mock last year but still got a 7 and then got an 8 in December (not crammed this time) and a 9 in March, hoping to retain the 9 for Results Day.

Would thoroughly recommend Cognito to anyone doing Science GCSE, and hoping to use it for Biology A-Level.

This website has been my saviour for GCSE science and significantly helpful due to the fact I took triple science and Cognito amazingly supplied all of the content and information needed through illustrated videos ,which helped me visualise everything well, and quizzes and exam style questions. Cognito also supplies all of the past papers for multiple exam boards so it's easy to locate the papers which are specific to what you need.
I recommend Cognito alot !

Cognito has honestly been my saving grace throughout Year 10 and Year 11 for GCSE combined science. I've been using it for my mock exams and my GCSEs which I am currently sitting. As someone who never particularly enjoyed science, Cognito completely changed this for me and I'm now on track to getting Grade 7-8s in combined science. All of the content in the videos is so well explained and it has made it so easy for me to thoroughly learn all of the science content. I would definitely recommend Cognito to Year 10s and 11s if they want to see their science grade completely transformed!

Amazing. This website along allowed me to catch up on so many areas of all 3 Sciences that had faded away from my memory over the GCSE years, and I've only used it for no less than two weeks. I didn't hesitate to pay for a subscription, seeing as the resources Cognito offers are incredible.

I really think the website is good the flashcards, the videos are well explained and the quizzes right after the videos were great. But, my problem with the website is that some content on science isn't even available not allowing me to access flashcards or the quizzes, i pay price of £10 a month i was expecting that level of quality when keeping your things up to date. Overall good learning platform just needs to update more and take into consideration the price we are paying for the service we should be getting.

It is amazing! I love it so much! This is great for revision, and it's free! I definitely recommend this! It has past papers for each topic and is linked to your exam board! This is the best revision website in the world!

I love cognito so much it make learning so simple yet effective. In their video they don't waffle, they just explain all key points. The quiz helps lock in the content and the flashcards help me to find gaps in my knowledge . I would highly recommend.

Great revision site - explains really well sometimes much better than a teacher. not so good for much aside form maths and science though

Cognito is so amazing, especially with it's videos on Youtube. As a Year 7 Student, I have revised with this website and it helped A LOT. All I had to do was search up Cognito then [Topic Name]. I absolutely reccommend this for general studying and revision. Absolute 5 Stars! Thank you cognito!

It's a super helpful revision tool, I find the video lessons followed by interactive quizzes and exam questions to be extra useful, and engaging.

Didn’t even let me sign in with Google even though it worked before. I am actually pissed off with this shit. Edit: the only reason I gave this 2 stars is because I can still use it.

My daughter really found this platform useful for her GCSE studies. The course work aligned with her school’s curriculum and there was a wide range of exam questions, and practice papers which really helped boost her learning and confidence. The team were really responsive with any queries and I would strongly recommend this as a learning aid for students, preparing for exams.
