Impossible Refunds, False Resolutions, and Lost Funds
After exhausting all possible channels to resolve a transaction dispute, I must warn others about CoinPayments' fundamentally flawed system:
The Problems:
1. Impossible Refund Requirements
They demand gas fees (60 TRX) that exceed most small transactions, mathematically preventing refunds. My $15 transaction would require paying $6 in fees - an obvious money trap.
2. Deliberate Accountability Avoidance
Their policy requires merchant cooperation while fully knowing most merchants refuse to participate in resolutions. This creates a perfect loop where no party takes responsibility.
3. Fraudulent Ticket Resolution
Support agents repeatedly closed my tickets as resolved while providing zero solutions, forcing me to constantly reopen them.
4. Willful Ignorance of Evidence
Even when presented with direct proof the merchant wouldn't help, they continued demanding impossible merchant action.
The Scam:
Their entire dispute process is carefully engineered so customers can never recover funds. Money either goes to merchants or becomes permanently stuck in their system.
Critical Warning:
Unless you enjoy losing money, avoid this service. Any transaction issue will leave you:
- Getting bounced between uncooperative merchants
- Facing impossible refund requirements
- Dealing with support agents trained to frustrate you into giving up

They are totally scammers, i had a payment of 52$ , i wanted to withdraw to my binance usdt wallet, they asked for this gas fees (15$) which you will never see only on their platform, it happened with my friend too , when he added the 15$ fees in order to recover the rest of the money, they stole all his money and closed his account
