Overall quality was disappointing
Overall quality was disappointing, rough edges on some pieces suggesting poor quality cutting.
This was my third Colin Myers puzzle and difference in quality was very noticeable

As you didn't get in touch to let us know about this before leaving this review, this is the first I am hearing about this and indeed, someone else just left a review for their puzzle saying how happy they were with theirs which makes it all the more frustrating to hear that perhaps some of your puzzle pieces were not to the same standard (also baffling and one I will take up with the puzzle printer). It's the same printer we've used for the last number of years and your others would have been from them. However thanks again for leaving feedback here and we will certainly look into the matter with our suppliers to see if there is something we can improve and/or if some issue occurred with some pieces in some puzzles. I can’t recommend this service highly enough!
The quality of the puzzle was excellent – sturdy pieces, beautifully printed, and the image came out so clear and vibrant. It made such a unique and meaningful gift, especially with the Scottish scenery adding that extra charm.
What really stood out was the care and attention to detail. You can tell a lot of pride goes into the work, and the whole process felt very personal and thoughtful.
If you’re looking for something a bit different, whether as a gift or a keepsake, this is a brilliant choice. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Poor Print Quality
I was given a voucher for this site and ordered several prints of Edinburgh. While the online ordering was straightforward and delivery was quick for a international order, I've found mysef pretty dissapointed with the end product and doubt I will be displaying any in my home.
Print quality was a lot lower than I was expecting for this price point, the darker images lacked contrast and look washed out, and the resolution was noticeably poor on our A3 print. I'm glad I didn't go for any of the larger sizes.
There was also part of the border cut off on our A4 antique print, meaning that the text at the bottom of the image was cut in half. As if the image wasn't properly re-sized for a A4 print. I was surprised something like this would be shipped.
I can see my experience is very different than others but that's my honest take.

Thanks for leaving your feedback and I am sorry to hear your order has was not in line with our own high standards as you say with the experience all our other buyers have had - we don't have any similar issues with others but there is always a first and as we don't print anything ourselves (everything is printed by professional printers) we do not see the output before it goes.
It's somewhat unfortunate you did not highlight these issues with us as we could have helped - per above, we don't see anything before it goes out and supply only the original images to the printers stipulating the size of the images to print and details so the order can be completed.
The darkest image (Fleshmarket Close) has little contrast in the original image but the inside parts of the close and other parts (where it was lit) should be distinguished and indeed, the Princes Street Sunset image (whist the street is darker with less contrast again in the original) has plenty colour in the sky that should be visible. Both images were taken with a Sony A7RV and 24-70 GMii lens and thus there are no resolution issues with the equipment used or the original images. Again, I have not had the luxury of seeing the output so cannot comment as the first we heard of your experience was this review on Trust Pilot.
Finally, the A4 print was positioned by me very specifically to show the image and the text (the image is sized for A4) and if the text was crop this is a printing error (though again, I've not seen the image to comment).
I am sorry to hear about this though as noted above, this is the first I did hear and it's unfortunate you didn't come to us first. Whilst I appreciate this is your honest take and indeed that is why we send out automatic invites for customers to leave feedback after every sale (this is optional on our part but does mean our score is honest as you say) you do correctly note others haven't had this issue which I am sorry to see, has affected your order by the sound of what you have written.

Old Edinburgh Calendar 2026
I originally placed an order for two calendars to be sent to my home address in the US. A short while later, I contacted Colin to ask if it would be possible to have one of them sent directly to a friend's address in the UK.
Colin was very obliging and happy to help, and responded promptly to my emails! He kept us posted as to when the calendars were going to print, in addition to when they were being mailed out to recipients.
The calendars were well-packed, and in perfect condition on arrival! Not one bend or crease in them, which is no mean feat!
My friend and I are both thrilled with the quality of our calendars, and of course the beautiful photographs! They will be a lovely reminder of our time together in Edinburgh this past year!

I enjoy yearly ordering from the Christmas Card collection. The toughest part is choosing which print and the anticipation of receiving them. They always arrive safely to Los Angeles, California neatly boxed with festive tissue.
