I am unable to install the fans
I am unable to install the fans. The holes to hold the fans in the hat were uncut. I have emailed the company Colitt.com multiple times and I have NOT received a response. At this point this hat was a waste of money and a scam. I also attempted to post a 1 star review on their website and they refuse to post any reviews below 3 stars.

If I could give a zero I would. BEWARE. Purchased through Palpal and STILL had issues. Products came from China, smelled like gas and wasn’t even what I ordered. No phone number, no customer service. SCAMMERS

First, I placed my order on June 9. I did not get my hats until July 8. This is because they were shipped from Chinatown. After I got my hat, my husband started using it and one of the fan stopped working after one day. The 2nd one stopped working on Thursday and doesn’t recharge. I paid 97.48 for 2 hats and it’s made soo cheap and doesn’t function as they advertise. DO NOT BUY from this place. The products are made poorly and cheap.
They violated their own policy
They violated their own policy. I was sent hats that do not match their photos. Second issue is they were bent/damaged and put into a tiny shipping box. When I followed their return instructions, included the photos, they stated my return shipping fees that I WOULD PAY are hefty and I should instead accept their offer to keep the broken hats and receive a 25% refund. Absurd. Scammers. I have reported to my credit card company the scam.

I ordered 2 hats on June 9th. The shipping has only been updated once in a month. It still shows it is in China. This is a complete scam. “James” says they will not issue a refund because it is still in transit. I would not trust this company at all. I will be reporting this as fraud on my credit card Monday!
Update: I’ve reached out multiple times and you refused to rectify the matter: I actually received the hats today. After I posted this review (a month after I ordered). One was broken and I sent pictures to “James” at customer service requesting a refund…again.

Placed an order in May and now is July 4th
Placed an order sometime in May, for Father’s Day gifts. Today is July 4th. Got an email that they have issued me a new tracking number, i went and check the initial tracking number they gave me and it stated “item was returned to sender” but it never left China. Two months later only to find out they were returned and never left China?? Just sent an email to this “James” guy asking for a refund. But seeing what people said on here, looks like I’ll never hear from him or see my money or even the hats i ordered.

I ordered 3 hats and they all suck
I ordered 3 hats with fans. All are garbage. First, nowhere on the website does it say that it's shipping from China so your order has to go through the whole customs thing, along with international payment fees from my bank. Second, the hats all stink. Some weird odor that is not coming out. They're EXTRA big. So big my husband asked if I ordered witch hats. The fans put out minimal air, even on high. The box that the fan comes in is in Chinese and does not address how to attach the hat to the fan. This company appears to just be a pass through company for Chinese junk, much like a Shein or Temu site. They're just awful and I'm stuck with them because I would have to pay myself to ship them back to China. Collitt is a worthless company with worthless items.

SCAM ALERT
I ordered the Colitt Fishing Hat with Fan and received it over a month later than promised. When it finally arrived, the product was defective, the fans didn’t clip in properly and could not be used at all.
Here’s what you need to know:
The product arrived late and was defective out of the box. There is no functioning return process. Customer service is unreliable and unprofessional and you will not be able to return/exchange. The company fails to honor basic consumer protections. Offering a minor discount on a future order does not resolve a faulty purchase.
The entire experience feels deceptive, dismissive, and predatory.
There is no real customer service system, just a single person named “James.” He responded to my initial inquiry about shipping, but once I requested a return for the defective item, he stopped responding entirely. Instead of honoring the return, I was offered a 10% discount code toward another purchase - an unacceptable and evasive attempt to sidestep accountability.
Avoid Colitt. The product quality is poor, the support is virtually nonexistent. This is not a reputable company. Buyers beware.

colitt is ignoring me (trying to do a return!)
I bought this hat for a father’s day present thinking a month would be enough time to get here on time (it wasn’t). When it did come, it came in a shipping package, crumbled, instead of in their labeled box- like you’d expect. Found the hat (also from china) on amazon but 20 bucks cheaper (also returned that item).
I’ve sent 5 emails over the week to get a shipping address to return but haven’t heard a peep. Will probably do a chargeback as the two week window is ending. I feel as they aren’t answering on purpose because of how shady this company actually is. I wish I did more research before. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!!!! order on amazon atleast (even though the hat just sucks).

I placed an order over three weeks ago, and for the first five days, the tracking status showed as “processing.” After submitting a request through their online contact form, I finally received a tracking number—only to find out the package was shipping from China, which was never disclosed at the time of purchase. Two weeks later, the tracking still hasn’t updated. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in this experience. Unfortunately, this feels deceptive and not like a trustworthy business.

Shady shady shady and not the good kind. They ship from China! Nowhere in the website did it state they would ship international, so now I have to pay tariffs. Not to mention it took forever to arrive, and not because it was coming from China but because they took 11 days to actually ship out my item. I haven’t received it yet, but I’ll update on the quality later. Though, judging from other posts it sounds like they’re Walmart quality for extravagant prices.

Horrible experience with this company!! I ordered the fan hat for Father's Day. It arrived in a cheap plastic bag folded over so many times that the hat cannot be flattened to intended shape. One fan arrived completely broken. I have been in touch with customer service and have been told I can get a refund if I pay to ship the item back to Austrslia...from Florida!! That will probably negate any refund money I would get. I understand if the item was fine and I changed my mind, but this is a defective, broken, and unusable product and they still want me to pay?! Ridiculous. They say they pride themselves on customer satisfaction...not true in my experience. I have never had a worse time with customer service with any other company. Beware of purchasing anything from them! They do not care about their customers...just looking to make a buck no matter what.

Placed order on 6/9/2025, evening. Charges were posted on credit card as of 6/10/2025. I inquired via email on 06/19/2025 ... tracking -- order still showed processing. As result of email ... tracking shows in transit, label created date of 06/22/2025. checked on Tracking evening of 06/24/2025 ... no change since 06/22/25 tracking ... Still in Mainland China. emailed them again on 06/24/2025 ... feeling/fearing scammed.
A scam beware
This site/company is a scam. Ordered 3 items back in mid May hoping to get it for Father’s Day. Got a shipping confirmation a day later but now more than a month later the product never left the country of origin.reached out to costume service “we will look into for you and will update you.” That was more than a week ago.
Long shipping time & poor quality
shipping takes forever & hat quality is inconsistent. i ordered 3 hats. one of them is like advertised. the other 2 are floppy and aren’t sturdy enough to hold the fans up. the fans just fall down when you put the hat on. i’ve reached out to customer support… nothing. i fell for smart marketing. just order off amazon.

Order placed first of June. Site said up to ten days shipping and charges $7.95 shipping. Order has not arrived. Tracking states Order is still i China. This company has false information and claims and will not respond to any of my emails. I'm starting to believe it us a scam and I'll have to challenge charges on my cc.
Deceptive business practice - DO NOT BUY
Purchased hat June 10 and as of June 21, the order is still being processed in China and there's been no movement. Colitt doesn't let you comment on Instagram and restricts/hides FB comments so you can't see people's negative experiences.
