The concept behind the books is really nice and meaningful, and the questions inside help bring back many memories. However, my experience was only average overall. The delivery took longer than expec... See more

I'm waiting for a refund for a subscription that I didn't buy. Please, if other people are being affected, let's leave bad reviews till we get the money back - SCAMERS!!!!!
Unauthorized charges to my card and a hidden paid membership
They're supposed to sell memorable moments, and this has been by far my worst shopping experience ever.
I ordered two books a month in advance, and they didn't arrive by the date I needed them.
Customer service was awful, with terrible copy-pasted responses in different languages; I thought it was a scam. The books arrived fine, although I already hated them because of the whole purchase process, the wait, and the terrible responses.
A month later, they charged me €39 for a supposed membership to a club called "Your Legacy," something I was never notified about nor signed for (according to them, you automatically agree to it when you buy the books). I asked them several times to resend the email where they claim I supposedly accepted those terms, and they never did.
Again, different people responded to my case, all copying and pasting the same thing. I requested a refund from Collective Books repeatedly, and they refused. Finally, my bank got me a refund by dealing with them.
I see this is happening to a lot of people.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE ABUSERS.
All they do is keep the money of people who get tired of insisting on a refund.
They enroll you in fraudulent subscriptions
They enroll you in a fraudulent subscription if you make any purchases on their site. They don’t disclose any trials or ask for your consent when you place an order for one of the books and then a month later will charge you for a fake ‘Family community membership.’
And when you ask for a refund and call attention to it, they send you a link and imply you didn’t cancel a free trial. As if attempting to delude the customer into thinking it was a mistake when they’re just trying to steal from you.
I disputed the transaction with my bank but they stole $70 from me. They’re a scam. Do not buy from them or any associated names they change their website to including ‘Collective books’ or ‘Your legacy.’ Please report them to the BBB if you have experienced a similar issues!
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I bought a book as a gift and then got signed up for a monthly subscription. Why would I need $50 per month subscription. The automatically sign you up for a “free trial” and then roll you over into a paid plan. It’s not clear at all and I can imagine many others have been scammed. I wish I did not use this company
Unauthorized charges
The product itself is good (books) the issue with this company, is that they add you a paid subscription for a 30 days free trial as a gift (whithout letting you know, nor do they add this on your receipt) and with no permission just charge your card in a month. And it’s quite an expensive charge, I never ordered it (they don’t even sell this subscription on the site) and never gave permission to charge me. Definitely don’t recommend
Watch out for hidden charges
Scum bags add on a community subscription fee then once it posts they say they can refund because of "terms of service." I'll be charging back with my bank. Just know they also hide your ability to cancel it until you email and ask them about it, I searched all throughout their website. These are some shady business practices. Also, I never received the pens or other free gifts.
Incredible quality and fast delivery
A good quality book, nicely packaged, and delivered pretty quickly. Can’t wait to gift it to my grandparents for Christmas!!!
Books are fine, mandatory subscription
Books are fine. I'm getting charged for a hidden mandatory subscription, which I don't know how to cancel.

was charged $34.99 a month after i received the books for a Family Legacy Community. however there doesn't seem to be anything actually related to that. so this seems to be primarily a scam.
SCAM ALERT!
SCAM ALERT!! If you buy these books, you’ll automatically be put on a “free trial” for their dumb “legacy community” that I’m sure nobody uses and will be surprised with $35 recurring monthly payments. They won’t refund and will say it’s clearly marked when purchasing, but you really have to do some digging to find this crap. Get these on Amazon or somewhere else besides this terrible company
Scammers hid a "free trial" and then charged my account
First they sent me the wrong book within the package. Then I had a surprise 30-buck card charge because apparently I had consented to a "free trial" despite there being no clear notification about the trial or the signup. I got my card company to successfully challenge the charge. And in addition they had the audacity to send me a notification about the subscription in a language different that in which I had initially purchased their products. As you can see from their responses to the reviews here, they have no intention of rectifying their scam through these reviews - get your card company to contest the scam.
Books were nice, scam monthly subscription
I was pleased with the books, but was scammed with a monthly subscription to Your Legacy. Avoid these con artists and find another reputable company who sells memory books.
Not trustworthy
They took two weeks before they even packed/prepared my books to ship. Then they sent me one in French (I ordered two in English) and didn't respond when I contacted them to have them correct it. Additionally, they signed me up for a subscription that I never consented to, that they never warned me about, that they never disclosed in any of my purchase materials. They eventually did respond when I asked them to refund me but declined to do so. I thankfully was able to clear these charges by filing a dispute with my credit card company. These guys are not trustworthy. If it's not a scam, then they're just really bad at running a business.

I wasn’t properly informed that with the order im ordering subscription, unfortunately they do not make refunds on that
A precious keepsake for generations to come
I think this little book is really well done. I looked through the pages to get an idea of what kind of answers the questions might bring amazing. Nothing to complain about, I totally recommend it!There are even some lovely little quotes throughout the book! You can order with confidence, it’s great!
I gave it to both my father and mother
This book is perfect as a gift. I gave it to both my father and mother, and they were absolutely thrilled. they told me it was the most beautiful gift they’ve ever received, with tears in their eyes.
Scam through subscription
They are scammers.
They are scammers.
They sell you the notebooks, while they charge you a hidden amount of 644 MXN (about 35 USD) one month later for a subscription I didn't signed for. I've sent lots of emails requesting my refund and they respond the same, like a machine, stating they won't refund.
DON'T BUY TO THIS SCAMMERS
I purchased books for my family and…
I purchased books for my family and they signed me up for a recurring charge, and when I contacted them the same day of the charge, they gave me some line about it being in their terms of service. I don't even have a login. I do not want the subscription.
Hidden subscription scam
I bought books from them, and they charged my card a month later saying I had signed up for a subscription. But I never meant to sign up for a subscription, they deceptively hid it in fine print on checkout.
