Went here on 2nd may 2026. Met some of my favourite actors ever. The staff were amazing and helpful. Although the prices were a bit overpriced it was definitely worth it . Thank you

Very poorly run from start to finish
Very poorly run from start to finish. Taking tops off sealed bottles of water and except people to walk round all day with opened bottles just stupid (that so called rule didn't last half the day they stopped doing it )
People who had prebooked a time slot for meet an greets yet staff didnt know anything about time slots and was letting people in who had paid on the day in before them, yet these people shouldn't have been let in the queues till 12PM. we missed out on seeing 3 meet am greets because of the poor running of this event, and now having to send email after email to get a refund of over £200.
This was the best weekend of my life
This was the best weekend of my life! The LOTR guests were wonderful and so lovely. The other visitors were chatty and friendly in queues. The Monopoly staff were brilliant, particularly the ladies wearing the green tops on the autographs in the ECL and, also the guy with the black t-shirt and the red hair. They were fab! The venues were easy enough to find our way around, considering we've not been before and the seating in the M&S arena was very welcome. The time slots, on the whole, worked for us, there were a couple of issues with being sent away with a ticket to come back later. The queues for the photo ops in ECL were horrendous on Sat and we couldn't even find the end. I think that a member of staff standing at the end of rhe queue with a sign on a stick would help. Sunday, they were much better, but they can be quite stressful for me navigating them, as I am legally blind. I managed pretty well on the whole, though. I loved all the info in advance about who would be where at what time etc. That is super helpful! Staff were pretty helpful if you needed to ask a question. I found the venue staff were a lot more strict and actually quite rude to people at times (from what I saw, not personally experienced). A variety of foods for people with allergies or conditions such as coeliac would be good, please. And please can we have an exact list of foods lr drink that will be allowed, because I've seen some people get sealed water taken off them and other allowed through with cans etc. Overall I had the best time!

Liverpool Comic Con May 2024
Had a wonderful time at our first con! There’s absolutely boat loads of things to do as well as seeing your fave guests, worth the entry ticket alone just to go for the vibe of the event! We seen all the LOTR cast as well as Jared Padalecki and it was just mind blowing! There were a few queue issues from what I’ve read but we never had any with the ones we had, and the guests were all super friendly too.
All the staff we spoke too were helpful when asking for directions! Would defo recommend to anyone of any age, the youngest we seen was about 6 weeks old and there were definitely some youngsters in their 70’s there too so get yourself along for a day out!

Had a great time at Comic Con, however…
Had a great time at Comic Con Liverpool. Lots of fun and plenty to do (maybe too much to do in 1 day!). However, there are a couple of issues that stop it being 5/5.
The one-way systems around the venue (are these decided by monopoly or the venue?) were awful, and in some places completely ridiculous. I understand the need for crowd control, but they were not well executed and certainly not well signposted. If there had been a map with directions on, or even actual signs throughout the venue it would have saved a lot of confusion and frustration - for myself and for others.
The other major issue was staff communication. Some of the staff members knew what was happening and could answer questions well, whereas some others did not. This caused a lot of confusion in the day, especially in the queues. I was fairly lucky with the guests/photos I had booked and everything went fairly smoothly - even if there was a bit of confusion regarding lines at the end of the day. But I am aware of people in line for some of the headliner guys and it did not go well at all, with conflicting advise and actions happening.
Communication definitely needs to be worked on with the staff regarding organisation and communication needs to be worked on regarding informing customers of walkway/oneway systems, either prior to the event, or with clearly marked signposts.

Monopoly Events continue to be the best…
Monopoly Events continue to be the best organisers when it comes to comic cons. Comic Con Liverpool is the best I've ever been to. Everytime I go I'm filled with excitement because I get to meet actors and actresses I admire and it is so surreal to see them up close. To hear them talk at panels is just so amazing. Going to comic cons has always been my happy place when I need a break from reality and it is always nice to bond with people in queues who share the same interests and anticipation for guests as you. Getting to ask questions at panels has boosted my confidence a whole lot with public speaking as my dream is to become a writer and to hear how my favorite actors got their inspirations always inspires me too. The guest who made my experience worthwhile was Jared Padelecki as he just gives his all to his fans with his full heart and warm hugs. I got a photo with him and attended his meet and greet and he is just so gracious and open with his fans. The Lord of the Rings panel was truly magical and it made me feel nostalgic about a beautiful movie trilogy I grew up loving.
Having the diamond pass is really efficient as you get to see guests faster without the hassle of waiting in long queues. Saturday was really overcrowded compared to last year's event but Sunday felt more relaxed and I found it more easier to get around the building. I think queue management needs to be sorted out as I heard some people missed out on photo and auto opportunities with the Red Dwarf cast as their queues were really long and going up to the wall. The queue for the Baby impala op were ridiculously long. I don't think allocated time slots worked with those guests and I think with better management, queues could go even faster if it weren't for pre booked time slots for them as people were ill informed with them compared to LOTR guests or Jared or Orlando, which I think was handled brilliantly. But regardless, the staff are really helpful at telling you where to go and getting tickets sorted out. Monopoly go above and beyond to get the biggest guests for their events and to give the fans what they want.
10/10 fantastic event. Really eased me back in to cons after the con burnout from October. The organisation for Liverpool is amazing at creating a immersive atmosphere at their cons which makes the excitement even more palpable in the air. It would really make me happy if you could get both Jared and Jensen for the next event as those duo ops would be legendary. Can't wait until November!

Great day had on Saturday. Loved it :)
We went on Saturday and to say it has improved over the years is an understatement. Last time I went was just before lockdown in March 2020 😬 and that wasn't a good experience at all with everyone being so packed in to the ECL.
Fast forward to now and it was by far a better time. Using the 3 arenas is much better and putting all the props in the M&S Arena was genius. I loved the atmosphere and experience. The seats available to sit in is brilliant too. The ECL with the stalls was a good experience although there still needs to be more room between the far stalls by the wall. Wasn't nice being so crammed in around there. I bought one photo opportunity and it seemed to be organised pretty well although I felt a little claustrophobic in that queue but it went down quick enough. Can't comment on the panels or red area as we never went there. All in all I had a really good day. Loved the M&S arena part, loved all the cosplay. Not sure I can afford November but will definitely be back in 2025.
My only negative is the food/drink in there. Wow just ridiculous prices. We just waited and stopped somewhere on our way home (we're from Liverpool) but I know that's not an option for everyone. I know its the venue that sets these prices. Rip off! Take a packed lunch if you can

Amazing weekend
Amazing weekend, such a thrill getting to meet my heros from when I was a teen (red dwarf!) and other headliners.... I'll echo what others have said thou, better crowd control is needed (perhaps look at entrance tickets sales... Felt extremely crowded) timeslots only work if they're adhered to, mine were not checked, ensure pre orders are priority in autograph queues, this reduces people missing out on what they paid for, walk ups on the day should go second once pre orders are seen, so maybe train the staff and voluntary to be vigilant in checking slots and prepaids,
I thoroughly enjoyed the props, the live stage (drag castle in particular) the stalls were a bit cramped ., there needs to be more space there, as an autistic person I became overwhelmed a lot
Monopoly normally put on amazing events, and this wasn't an exception to the rule but there could be some improvement with waiting times for attendees, and crowd control, other than that, epic event as always

What an experience, again. Keep it up.
Meeting all the wonderful people there, loads of excellent guests, super prop builds and venue.
The extra space in the Arena is a great addition.
Well Done Monopoly team, we'll be back.

I love the venue but downside need more…
I love the venue but downside need more food and drink options for card and cash also not too expensive that be great and big queues are my other issues but other then them I would definitely come back again

I had the best day
This was my first time at any Comic Con and whilst it was very busy with queues, the people we were meeting I expected to have big queues. We had tickets for the panel so I’m unsure why we needed to queue for that as it was allocated seating but that wasn’t down to the organisers it was just one of those things.
The guests were amazing, panel was amazing, souvenirs and stalls were all amazing. The amount of things to see and do were brilliant, I sent my day saying “oh my god look at that” and I took so many pictures and spent so much money but it was all worth every penny. I am planning on going to at least 2 more Monopoly Events this year.
Thank you for arranging a brilliant event, I had the best day.

Love comic con but the long queues for…
Love comic con but the long queues for guest to then have them taken away to do photo ops wasn’t good management. The layout of props etc was better than Octobers con. Overall great con just need to manage some guests better if they are more popular and not just the headline guests.

Where to even start
Where to even start!
I have so much respect for Monopoly, they have brought some absolutely fantastic guests from all over the world to Liverpool. Huge stars, new stars and everyone in between.
Monopoly continue to push the limits to grow a better event time after time and are always upping the bar.
Is everything perfect? No, but nothing ever is, Monopoly are human, as much planning they put into place things can always go wrong, but what makes Monopoly different is they take constructive feedback and they try to resolve everything they can.
I will continue to support Monopoly as long as they continue to provide such amazing events, go out their way to get outstanding guests and take on feedback to help improve however they can.
Roll on November 🙌 Ticket is already purchase, hotel arranged!

My first ever Comic Con
My first ever Comic Con was an absolute dream. We had 11am entry but the staff let us through early (bonus!) Plenty of stalls to see and things to do....thoroughly enjoyed myself and made me realise what a great bunch of people are involved.
I know a lot of people have complained but there were no negative experiences for me.
I will definitely be doing a couple more this year!

Such a great event! Best in the UK!
Such a great event! As a wheelchair user, this is the best event in the UK I’ve found for wheelchair accessibility and for ease of getting around with ramps, staff redirecting foot traffic to allow me to go past easier etc. Highly recommend!

The most awful convention experience ever. Avoid at all costs
Had a terrible time at Liverpool comic con. They completely oversold tickets. Guests were taking breaks every 20 minutes. Timeslots over ran by hours so I missed over guests. Badly organised and customer service don't respond to messages.
